personally, elaina is said to be a generally amiable young woman, with humorous tendencies, humility, and a friendly demeanor. she'll take any chance she can get to be in the spotlight, and make others laugh as she goes. also tending to be sarcastic, she sometimes comes across as harsher or drier than she means to. but she's trying to make it better. past her pride and easily likable persona, she tends to take things to heart, easily discouraged and sensitive. she's also an emotional rollercoaster when it comes to serious situations, often not wanting to ask for help for fear of being bothersome.

Felix was born on April 6th in Visby, Sweden. He is the youngest of three children, his siblings being his older sisters Ana {25} and Lilly {22}. Felix's father was in the military, meaning he moved around quite a lot in his childhood. He never really minded, the more he got to see the better. Felix was never a really attached and clingy child, he much preferred to go and explore on his own. It didn't take him long to fall in love with nature and animals. At six, he began his long journey of persuading his parents to get him a dog. The answer was no.

At nine, Felix's father was in an accident at work and ended up losing his left leg. While off work, living was tough for the Karlssons. His mother struggled to keep a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs. It wasn't until Felix's father was offered a position at a security company in Bar Harbor, Maine that things began to look up. The Karlsson family packed up and moved shortly after Felix's tenth birthday to a nice house on the outskirts of Bar Harbor. Felix struggled with school and making friends, being unable to speak English, and began to become incredibly upset. It was on Felix's eleventh birthday that he was gifted with a small pit bull puppy named Luna. The two were instantaneously best friends and were inseparable.

Felix began excelling more at school and was moved into the public school system where he would meet his lifelong best friend, Noah. The two were in different classes and met on the playground after Noah spotted Felix giving water to a small bird. Noah found it silly but Felix found it important. It took them a while to become friends, especially since Felix wasn't good at English and Noah couldn't speak any Swedish, but the two became close over the summer months. Noah and Felix attended the same high school and went on to get accepted into the same university. Between the summer between their junior and senior year in high school, Noah proposed that Felix join him as a camp counselor at Moosehead Point Summer Camp. They both attended and loved their time there, which is what spurred them to return this summer.

Noah was born on November 19th in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. He was born into a middle class family and is the oldest of two children, his younger sibling being his twelve year old sister Kaya. Noah's mother and father own a restaurant called The Taylor Grill which serves nothing but the gooiest, most terrible for you American barbecue. Noah and his family moved to Bar Harbor, Maine when he was just four years old as a step to expand his parents' company.

Noah's childhood was filled with fun. An overly energetic child, Noah's parents put him into multiple after school activities in order to keep him busy. He began playing volleyball at nine and could cook for as long as he could remember. Noah was also a Boy Scout and spent a great deal of time devoted to earning the most bizarre and difficult badges. The energy lead Noah to sometimes be a difficult to control child and he often found himself in a whole spectrum of trouble, each time more crazy and wild than the last. Still, he never hurt anyone or anything. Any consequences of his actions were purely aimed at himself.

The year of Noah's tenth birthday brought a new family to Bar Harbor, some Swedish people named the Karlssons. They lived three houses down from the Taylors and Noah was immediately fascinated. It wasn't often that Bar Harbor got new people and the fact that they weren't even American was even more exciting. Still, Noah couldn't understand them when they spoke which made it difficult for his young and inquisitive mind to learn more. That's when he decided that he would be friends with the youngest kid, a boy named Felix.

Felix ended up attending the same elementary school as Noah the next year and the two formally met and spoke (with difficulty) while on the playground. Felix was giving water to a bird. Noah couldn't understand why Felix was helping the bird and began asking a flurry of questions, to which Felix answered as best as he could. That would be the start of a long friendship. Noah's prying questions and outgoing attitude somehow paired well with Felix's quiet and independent nature.

Just before the summer of their senior year in high school, Noah received a flyer in the mail for a camp called Moosehead Point. It stated that camp counselors were needed for the upcoming camp session and Noah immediately jumped on board. He begged Felix to join him, to which Felix agreed. That summer, the two participated as counselors. Their time there was so incredibly fun that after graduating high school, they decided to go back for another summer as counselors.

Adrian is that one person who's either an outcast or a star. He's the freak, the abomination, the gifted, whatever you want to call him. People don't know anything about him - only that he smiles a bit too often, and that he can do some pretty weird stuff. One time, Adrian twisted his feet backwards in this very unnatural and disorienting manner. Another time, he twisted his right elbow backwards and gave everyone a little scare. "Ahh, my arm!" he'd call out, wringing his "broken" elbow around. That was fun.
Adrian is a natural trickster. He loves pulling pranks on people, finding their emotional reactions humorous to look at. He's cunning, intelligent... he's the ideal prankster. That being said, his cunning and his intelligence inhabit much of his brain matter - so much of it, in fact, that he actually has no room to realize the importance of emotion! This makes him view people as just another object in life used to move towards an endgoal, including himself. That's right, if Adrian's own life stood between the completion of his own plan, he will not hesitate to fulfill said plan.
Adrian is pretty optimistic, always seeing the potential for success in most of his actions. He's good at making friends (when he wants to), although he's found thta humans are usually unreliable and untrustworthy and are oftentimes more a hindrance than they are anything else. This means he hasn't found the one person he can rely on, of course, but maybe this summer camp will change that. Maybe, Adrian could be nurtured, emotionally speaking, during the course of this summer. We just have to wait and see.

Chloe has gone through many looks over the years, from grunge to pastel to what she can only describe now as Victoria's-Secret-Model-Wannabe. Each look had a different bottle of hair dye, a different brand of colored contacts, a different personality. Now, in the summer of her Senior year, Chloe is starting to realize she doesn't even know who she is anymore. So this summer, she's ended up with simple jeans, t-shirts, and blonde hair, something effortlessly cute but leaves her wondering where her style went.
She credits her need for an image and her obsession with beauty to the fact that her mother was never around, leaving a drunk idiot to raise her. The drunk idiot's remarks about her ugliness during middle school probably sparked it all, not to mention their dirt-poor status leading her to date guys in her high school for money (that's, uh, not a good time in her past, especially considering her sexuality.) Maybe she let the catcalls and the rumors spread about her get to her, but she never let anyone know that. Growing up taught her very quickly that her image was one of the most important things she could control in her life. Yeah, she's had it tough ... but nobody else has to know that, and it's nothing she can't handle. (At least, that's what she keeps telling herself.)
Is Chloe a mean girl? No, she wouldn't say that. Does she come off a bit narcissistic? Definitely. Is she way too obsessed with how she looks? Oh, for certain. But underneath all that is a girl just trying to fit in, yearning to be loved. Maybe, if they're lucky, Chloe might let someone see that. This camp, after all, would be the perfect opportunity to finally find someone who likes her -- just likes her -- without ever knowing the baggage and the dirty deeds hidden in her past.​

Jordan knows when people look at them, they do a double take. And while they don't really like attention (they prefer sketching and EDM over being in the spotlight), it's nice to know their androgynous look manages to confuse people. (Take that, gender!) Their style is about as close to casual-sporty as one can get without actually playing sports, the baseball tees and tennis shirts usually paired with a chocker.
Jordan is pretty quiet, though can be a bit more expressive around their friends. It's not a matter of opening up to people, it's more that they like listening and watching others more than they like expressing their own ideas. They can get along with almost anyone, though particularly conceited people tend to get on their nerves. They spend most of their time sketching or just hanging out with people, though alone time is always needed to recharge.

Personality : Rose is definitely not a shy person, and is usually the one to start a conversation. She doesn't experience the awkwardness or social anxiety some will feel when thrust into new situations. Throughout her years, she's gained many friends, whether it be from chatting away in chemistry class, or outside in the backyard of a house party. However, she's also lost many friends, and this had made her quite distrustful of new people. While this doesn't mean she won't socialize, you certainly shouldn't expect her to start offering up her biggest secrets anytime soon. The issue with this is whenever a problem is affecting her, she isn't open to discussing it with anyone for fear of that knowledge being used against her in the future. She has just chosen to keep people at arm's length to keep herself from being betrayed like she was in the past.

Rose definitely lives by the motto of "I'm here for a good time, not a long time." This definitely explains her reckless and risk taking past. From the middle of her sophmore year, to the middle of her junior year, she began entering the high school party scene. She has dabbled in her fair share of drugs, drunken kisses with strangers, and even a few car races or too. She earned herself quite the party girl reputation, but she didn't care what others thought of her. She aimed to make the most of her high school years, no matter the consequences. However, this would all change after a night of fun goes completely wrong.

However, Rose certainly wasn't always like this. She used to be incredibly reserved, focusing only on her studies and volleyball. Intense pressure from her mother, who held a doctorate and expected the same of her daughter caused this. For a long time, Rose only had a single friend from her first day in preschool until the summer before her sophmore year. You would always find the two of them together, but neither of them did anything "bad". Their idea of a good weekend was watching The Titanic and eating a tub of Baskin Robbins ice cream. Then, her friend moved away to Texas, and she was forced out of her bubble, and this was when she started making new friends who brought her into her new way of life.

One bad thing about her sudden change is that she is definitely quite aware of what she does, what she says, and what she wears. She associates looking good with feeling good, so she will not leave her house without being done up and that is a must. Some may see her as the stereotypical 21st century teenage girl, and they are certainly right. In this day and age, looks and how you present yourself is everything, and she is no exception.

History : Rose was born into a normal (or perhaps not so normal anymore) household with both a father and a mother. Her mother works as a professor, teaching sociology. Her father worked at an advertising agency as an account man. Her mother always pushed her to focus on her studies, yet her father encouraged her more to build relationships since her believed it was the key to getting through life. In the 6th grade, her parents had an amicable divorce, and therefor she spent quite some time going from house to house as they had dual custody. At first, she had trouble grasping the situation, but since she was quite young she adapted easily. However, at first, she definitely preferred staying at her mother's since that was the house she had grown up in. Her parents continued to stay on good terms especially when it came to their only daughter. They both wanted the best for her, and felt it was their need to make it up to her since she had to deal with a split home by spoiling her with whatever she wanted.

As the years went by, Rose began spending more time at her mothers as school got more serious. She went to the school district of her mothers house, and going there from her fathers would take at least 30 minutes. This would mean she'd miss her before school volley ball practice and she decided to spend her weekdays there, and see her father on the weekends. Her mother would influence her personality more, and this was when she dedicated her time to her studies and sports. However, when her best friend moved, she fell into a brief period of depression caused by loneliness. Rose decided to change her scenery, and move with her dad, and this was what started the change. Unlike her mother, her father was much more casual about letting her stay out late with her friends, and sleeping over at others houses. Also, her father would occasionally leave on business trips and leave her by herself.

Rose would fall to the hype of an active teenage social life, and this would cause her many problems as expected. She cannot recall most of her weekends, and even weekdays when she had started day drinking. Her friends would pressure her to try drugs which once caused her to faint in the middle of class. She got into trouble with the school more times in a month than she had in her whole life, and she would even get in school suspension. Her father in the beginning kept it a secret from her mother as to not alarm her, and simply blamed it on the sudden change. He believed it was just a short phase and would pass soon.

She would not stop her ways until one night, a party goes completely wrong. Someone had slipped something in her drink, and had it not been for a stranger who had happened to pass by, things would have taken a turn in a way that would scar her for life. While the stranger attempted to sober her up but giving her water and calling over her friends, the cops would come knocking on the door. That night, Rose almost got herself arrested.
