Realistic or Modern C O L O U R S

As Lia reviewed the papers, she would occasionally peek over them and look at whoever entered the room. She smiled at the reliable Jun who is more skilled at swords than her, but 100% trustworthy when it comes to a job. Islam who she trusted, but was pretty sure now he's in it for the money. She made a mental check to set his pay aside so it doesn't get incorporated in the budget. As Dallas walked in Lia noticed she looked kind of tired.

"Morning Dallas" as Dallas sauntered off to look at the new ammunition. She skims the group and then jumps when Mariko arrives "Geeze, Mariko please try to not freak people out while analyzing the goods. We may be professionals but we don't want any accidents." She notices the new dog and sighed Is this a gang or a dog pound? she thought.

"Oh quit your whining!" She said smiling, "Her name is Jasmine, and i just got her." She walked towards Lia "You wanna pet her?" She asked almost laughing, she then stopped and looked at Lia "Wheres dickhead? Do you know?" She looked around almost nervous, not very many people knew or at least that's what she thought but she had a crush on her boss, but she was pretty sure he never got into relationships so she never bothered. But she still wanted to show off Jasmine to him and see what he thought of her.

Lia, more of a no pet person, politely declined petting what seemed like another vicious dog. What ever happened to cute Labradoodles or Yorkshire terriers? She sighed and looked around. "Last place I saw him was at his desk, but unless you want to take a job or look at the new inventory I don't think he would want to be bothered." She said somewhat sarcastically since Jakkü is close by. She shifted the papers in her and and wrote Mariko's arrival time and the new member of their gang. Jasmine dog number two, that's more dog food were gonna have laying around. "I assume you will be supplying Jasmine's food, right?" She looks at the girl with the 'your gonna be responsible' look.

Isam made himself busy at his workstation. He pulled a box of wires of one of his shelves and set them on the floor, next to his C4 bricks. His supply was running low; he'd have to put a word in for someone to go get more. Perhaps these new arms dealers in town, the Russians, as Dallas had said, would have some to permanently borrow.

Isam sat cross legged on the floor and began to work. Remote detonated bombs were more sophisticated than the usual 'light and run', but they were the safest and often the most reliable. He had one about halfway finished from last night. Each explosive would cover a radius of approximately ten feet, and if placed correctly, four of them could do serious damaged to a good sized building.

He looked up as another gang member came in, toting another large dog. Isam glared at the animal for a moment before turning back to his work. He didn't care for large dogs; he hadn't had good experiences with them. He could remember being attacked by Marine Corps canines back in Afghanistan; he had scars from the beasts. Isam briefly wondered why no one came home with something nice, like a gerbil.

Cover smiled as she walked around. It was a normal everyday in the city and she was well bored. Gang stuff was everywhere but that didn't interest her, never did. She pouted as she looked around, with all these stupid gangs around the people were to afraid to have something fun come to town like a fair or a circus. She hadn't had a candy apple in a very long time and she had a deep longing for one. Cover sighed, oh why oh why was she stuck in this dead in town with these dead end people, she wasn't noticed so the gang didn't mess with her before for some reason everyone thinks she with Colours. Like did she look like a gangbanger, Clover was so wrapped up in her thoughts she didn't notice a boy walking in front of her and she fell over him spilling a huge amount of dice. "Oh my god I'm so sorry!" Why did this boy have some many dice...

Dallas stood up off the table and made her way over to Isam's little corner of bombs. She planted herself down in front of him and his work, crossing he legs, taking a quick glance around the room before looking to Isam once more. "How much are you willing to give me one of these so I can get a little cash?" she asked. The question was pertained to why she was tired, she was awake all last night, not home but out and about making a few deals in the shadows of the town. She of course did this secretly, if Jakku had ever found out about her taking up mercenary jobs for other people than she would be dead. But hey, it was a little cash in her pocket and she's been doing this for over two years and not once have been caught. So she was on a roller coaster that only goes up.

Isam looked up from his project, at the woman sitting before him. His eyes lifted to look around the room; no one else was paying them any attention, from what he could see. He looked back to Dallas, then continued working.

"I do not work for free," He said quietly, plugging a little wire into the transmitting device. "Unlike most of the people in this room, I have a conscience. And consciences cost money." Isam didn't like what he did, but it was the only thing he knew how to do. Who he did it for hardly mattered to him.

He turned to pick up one of his finished explosives from a box behind him, and set it down in front of him. "This is not a large bomb; it will only cover a ten foot radius. It is stable, discrete, and there is no delay once you set off the remote. Just what do you plan to do with this?"

Omar found himself lazing around in bed for a good hour after Isam had left. He didn't have a job to run off to, giving him the luxury of sleeping in. But he had to get up eventually. Omar groaned as he sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed. His feet touched the cool, wooden floor as he stood and crossed the room. He stretched as he walked, then opened one of his drawers and began to dig around. Omar dressed to go running, as he did most mornings. He had to do something to stay in shape.

Once he was dressed and his hair was brushed, Omar went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. He took a moment to look at his beard in the mirror, pondering whether he should trim it today. Nah.

He went out to the kitchen and sat down at the table where a large bowl of fresh picked lychees sat. He picked it up one of the little fleshy fruits and began to peel it. One of the many things Omar loved about having a house, rather than the tiny apartment they had lived in before Isam had found his new job, was that they had a back yard. Omar had wasted no time planting a lychee tree so that he could enjoy one of his favorite fruits whenever he liked. Finding them fresh in the United States proved more difficult than he would have thought.

Omar ate a handful of the fruits, then got a cup of yogurt from the refrigerator. He walked over to the kitchen counter as he ate it, looking over the grocery list that Isam had made the other morning. For him, Isam seemed to hold unlimited amounts of patience when it came to learning English. It was a difficult language, and Omar was passed the age of easy learning. Isam wrote items on their shopping lists in Arabic first, and then wrote the English name directly under it so that Omar would know what to look for on the labels. He also kept a list of simple phrases right next to their grocery list, in case Omar needed to ask someone for help finding anything.

Omar took both lists and put them in his pocket, then grabbed his wallet and headed out. He liked to jog around town, to see peoples' faces. He made a hobby of peoplewatching. At ten AM, every morning, the little old lady down the street left her house to go to the BINGO lounge. There was a crosswalk guard that waved at him every morning when he passed the school zone, and he would always smile and wave back. When he got further into town, there was a young man selling news papers on the corner. Omar never knew what they said, but Isam often told him that it wasn't usually good news.

After jogging a good ways, he would reach the grocery store. Omar went inside and headed for the men's room to wash the sweat off of his face before going shopping. The grocery list was fairly short today: a lamb roast for their Sunday meal, a large container of yogurt, an eggplant, a pound of rice, and chickpeas for hummus.

Sora had looked at the girl who bumped into him, picking up his dice slowly one by one placing them back in the box. "It's fine are you okay?" he was laughing a bit maybe this day hadn't been so bad. "Such an interesting day I got to see some girl with a Katana blow up a warehouse, and then I bump into another person.." Sora was wondering if she was nicer though, it didn't matter if they were the same. But, hopefully he didn't do anything bad. He'd have hated to make an enemy on his first day, wouldn't that be something? Either way after sometime he managed to pick up all his dice again, it was sprinkling a bit so he put his hood up and placed the dice in his jacket instead. 'I'd hate for these to fall out again...I might lose them this time.' he thought. But, knew it would be rude to leave right at this minute. "Um..do you need something?" Sora said smiling at the girl.

Lia looked around to assure that there was some order to this inventory madness. She's a fighter not a desk worker but she knew that things like food, water, electricity,medical and such, can't all be stolen. She looks around and notices Dalls and Isam chatting and begins walking over to them. "Hey guys how's the weapons check going? Everything good? Don't forget to write down what is being used just for inventory sake." She smiles not having heard the conversation between them.

@Metronome @Hi Im Red

Jun decided to head out. She wasn't one for weapons check especially since they were checking guns. She walked out of the base grabbing a cigarette out of her pocket. She light and watched the smoke rising from the area where a warehouse once stood. She could see flashing lights by it, she wondered if it was enough to make the news. She was rather proud of herself for doing such a good job. Then her mind wandered to that man. She frowned as she smashed the but of her cigarette on the side of the building. That man better start saying his goodbyes. She walked back into the base sitting down at her little desk and turned on the small TV she had. There was news broadcast of the warehouse explosion. She had her entertainment until she got her next job.

"I'm fine fine really..I"m so sorry I'm not usually such a klutz but my mind was off somewhere today." She stares at the boy. He was a new face and she loved to see new people in this boring old town. "You must be new then, since you seem to met a member of the gang and didn't now it, I'm not in the gang but many people think so." She continue to pick the dice up and smiles bright at the boy. "I'm Clover by the way and no I don't need anything..but a new friend." That sounded way cheesy and she blushes.

Sora undoubtedly heard her..a gang? "I...don't know what a gang is.." he admitted he wasn't entirely sure what that was then did a fake impression. "I'll paint the ground with your blood." waving his arm around like he had a sword. "Clover...I'm Sora." he said grinning a bit he wasn't sure if she could be trusted yet. But, it would be nice to make a new friend in this place. "Maybe...I shouldn't have bought so much dice."

@Mikailgirl

"You don't know what a gang is...you must have came for a really nice place. And yep that was a gang member..they're always so uptight and mean. I really don't know why but whatever. Sora nice name kind of girly but nice. You shouldn't I mean what were you going to do with all these dice." She laughing, what a weird guy he was, not knowing what a gang was and buying so much dice...maybe he'd bring excitement back to her horrible dull life.

"Kind of girly." Sora was shocked to hear these words...he wasn't entirely mad as much as how embarrassing it was. "Yeah, then I might have ticked her off." Sora recalled the meeting of the gang member but it didn't entirely mean much. "I actually don't remember what I was going to do with these dice..I think it was a game. But, now I'm not entirely sure. I could have been going to stack them.." Sora was confused by this girl, but she did at least seem nicer than the one at the warehouse. "...no way.." he said slowly looking around.

@Mikailgirl

"It's still a nice name. And already on the bad side of the gang, I like you already." The dice are almost all picked up and she just shakes her head. "This is why you don't buy this many dice, one or two is just fine." She was about to stand up and walk with him but his now way held her down. "What..what is it?" She looked around to and didn't see much different, him, her and just some dice, nothing seemed out of placed.

Sora sighed hugely disappointed in himself. "I was so careful...but now I'm lost.." Sora stood up and stretch a little. "Oh, well..bound to happen on a first day anyway. Maybe I'll run into more exciting things, while I try to find my way back." He said almost pleased now to have gotten lost. "So, anyway if I die within the next few days, you can assume the Katana woman killed me." Sora looked at all the dice.. maybe it was a tad bit much. "Well..it was nice meeting you, Clover." Sora wasn't sure what to do now, it was unlikely she would stick around. Turning away he talked to himself "Wonder what that gang was anyway."

@Mikailgirl

"...Lost in this small town, you must really have a crappy sense of direction. But you know what I'll tag alone with you I don't have anything to do and you're the most fun thing I've come across in weeks. If you die in the next few weeks I'll come to your funeral and morn." She gives the dice a roll and it lands on snake eyes. She grabs his hands and tugs. "The gangs name is Colours cause of the hoodies they wear. Now lead the way to adventurer." She snorts and grins at him, Sora huh well it was nice to meet him too.

"I do not have a crappy sense of direction...I just don't pay much attention." Sora said defensively but knew he couldn't argue with that. How did he manage to get lost? It wasn't even remotely a big town probably anyway. "A gang named Colours...never heard of them. But, I'll assume that the people here live in fear, because they don't want to die. Which to me is quite stupid. Life is a game, they will be killed whether they obey or not, they can die at any moment. So, what is there to fear? If anything wage a war and play it out." Sora wasn't even sure where to go at this point. "...Not entirely sure...I guess I should try to find the school though..If I gotta start there in a few days or something." At this point in time in really confused Sora though. People lived in fear of the gang Colours he would assume. If that's the case the only excitement would come from Colours themselves and he most likely made an enemy, even without trying to do as such. Sora just began walking forward on the road ..though only knowing to avoid dark alleys.

@Mikailgirl

"A gang war huh, you really are an exciting boy..I'm glad someone like you moved to this dumb old town. I've never lived in fear, but my mother does and I'm like get over and live your life." She shrugs. "Sora I think you and me and going to be good friends, that is if you live long enough to get there." She laughs and tugs him along. "The schools this way you dumb boy and if you keep getting lost you'll find yourself in gang territory quick." Clover grins at him. "So Sora where did you come from, with all this talk of gang war and death being like a game."

"Oh, maybe your mom can be put at ease then? Um..I run a flower shop part time..you know if you wanna bring her there." Sora said looking around trying to memorize everything."Yeah, friends would be good..it might be nice probably. But, I guess you know your way around it seems." Sora couldn't do anything really as she dragged him along. But, it was interesting she knew a lot and actually seemed like fun. "Well I don't entirely know much about gangs, but games I thoroughly enjoy...life is a game don't you think? No restarts of course, but then death is coming anyway, why live in fear of people who run around flaunting their toys and inflating their own ego?" Sora sighed a bit not really answering her question of where he came from he wasn't entirely sure how to answer her anyway.

@Mikailgirl

Omar got his groceries and checked out with little incident. He greeted the young woman at the cash register with a smile and a hello, one of the many words he'd learned in English. With his purchase stuffed into a brown paper bag, Omar headed outside. He couldn't help but notice the dark clouds that loomed in the sky, probably left over from this morning's rain. Walking home didn't seem like a good option if he didn't want to get soaked, but he couldn't quite remember how to get to the nearest bus station for a ride.

Omar walked down the street a little ways, until he saw a young boy and girl walking down the sidewalk, talking. He paused, then went up to them to ask if they could give him direction, or at least he attempted to.

"Erm, sorry," Omar said as he walked up to them, interrupting their conversation. His accent was very thick. "Need help. Where is...bus?" He couldn't remember the word for 'station'. Omar hoped they got the gist of what he meant.

@Orion @Mikailgirl

"A flower shop..you just get more and more girly. And of course I know my way around I lived here all my life, I'd be dumb not too. I don't really think life is a game but if it was it's a sucky one and I'd like a refund for the crap. I mean some players get all the stuff and then many do not what an unfair game right." She turns to lead him to the school when a foreigner ask her where the bus is. Well today was her lucky day, all this new exciting things happening and she was in the middle of it, next thing you know she'll meet a gang member today. "Ahhh the bus is down that street there but be careful, the bus is controlled by the gang." She nods and smiles at the man

((Jeez. You guys got far ahead))

Jakkü walked back out into vision and petted Yin. He looked up and his eyes immediately wandered to the other large dog. "Oh boy. Who the hell got another one?" He furrowed his eyebrows. He shook his head and made his way across the room. He gave the Rottweiler a pat and walked outside. He lit a cigarette and decided to take a small walk. He walked down the street and saw 3 people. He snickered and walked up behind them. "Boo." He said quietly.

The girl was kind enough to tell him where the bus station was, but unfortunately for Omar, she did so in a foreign language. He gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry," He said. "No English." Omar felt a bit bad for disrupting the two's conversation. "Can take me?" He asked, reaching into his back pocket to pull out his wallet. He got a five dollar bill out and offered it to the girl as reward if she could take him there. Omar shifted the brown bag in his arms as another young man appeared. The boy made a sound at them, but it didn't make much sense to Omar. Maybe it was a cultural thing.

Sora sighed.. it was getting tiresome being called girly. "The reason it seems unfair, is because people don't know when to fight back, and claim what treasures were rightfully theirs." Sora didn't know anything about a bus or gang controlled territory. This was beginning to sound complicated how many gangs were there? "Games are always meant to be unfair. There are those who have an advantage and those who are weak. The only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed, right? If at any rate, a general is only as strong as the people he leads. If the people are unhappy then they may turn against the General and kill him, toppling and gaining their own freedom. Of course the same goes for a king as well." Sora was fiddling with a dice piece in his hand. "A king rules by winning his people over, those who rule by fear are destined to be destroyed."
