For starters, Sophia is only 4'11" and bears the brunt of constant short jokes. She was a gymnast through tenth grade, at which point she became too serious about school and had to quit. Her hair is dark brown, but the amount of time she spends outside in the summer tends to lighten the hue considerably. Unsurprisingly, she doesn't bother to do anything fancy with it, so the majority of the time it's in either down or in a messy bun or ponytail.

Soph has a nose piercing, which she got when she turned 18 as an obligatory act of rebellion against her parents. It was horribly ill-advised and she would let it close up, except for the fact that it wastes money (and hey, college ain't free). So she wears as small and inconspicuous a stud as possible.

Her style, much to the chagrin of all of her girlier friends, is decidedly less than hip. In the winter, her default attire is jeans, hiking socks, combat boots, a flannel or sweater, and a beanie; in summer, it's jean shorts, Converse, t-shirts, and a baseball cap. She tends to go for relatively bright colors and simple patterns.

Worth noting is that Sophia's hatred for dresses and skirts runs deep. They're just uncomfortable, and inconvenient, and she has to pay too much attention to how she's sitting and leaning down and what's showing where, and ain't nobody got time for that. For the beach or the pool, if she isn't tanning while reading fanfiction, she opts for one pieces or rash guards.

She has not gone near makeup ever since a traumatic experience with a mascara wand, and lucky for her she has naturally good skin (though she has freckles that seriously pop out in the summer). The most she does is sunblock and chapstick.

• Very assertive. Bossy assertive, but definitely the type to yell at everyone to shut up and get their shit together because this is a serious situation and standing around panicking means certain death... not to put a damper on the party.
• Courageous. Yeah, it's cliche, but she's damn brave.
• Intelligent. She's a pretty resourceful person who can learn things quickly.
• Determined. She'd sooner die (which might, you know, be the case) than give up on something. Especially when it concerns people she cares about.
• Possibly a wee bit insane, but in a good way. In a "I will not let you take a single breath until we have saved the day so get your ass back out there" sort of way.

Soph is the definition of a controversial person with a strong personality. People tend to either love or hate her. This is mainly because she speaks her mind and stands up for everyone and everything she believes in. She also calls people out for their BS and delivers harsh reality checks. Nobody can really argue with her, because she's always right, but sometimes (most of the time) she could be a bit gentler. She's incredibly passionate about school in particular. And she's quite sociable and friendly. In fact, most people really like her at first, because she's the first to jump up and say hello or to break the ice. The moment of truth comes when she actually opens her mouth and starts talking.

She's more of an "acts of service" gal. You won't catch her writing cute mushy texts to friends. But you will see her drive an hour to spend time with an upset friend, or get involved (for better or worse) in social situations, or basically give people she cares about — or people she thinks deserve it — the shirt off her back.

Which leads into her loyalty. Having dealt with feelings of abandonment around her adoption, Sophia is fiercely loyal. This is bad for her enemies, because she can also be quite astute and manipulative. This is good, obviously, for the people she loves. She's also exuberant and proud of her friends' accomplishments — the type to throw herself at someone and give them a lung-crushing hug when they're not expecting it.

Another trademark of the craziness which is Sophia Ollerton is that she's more than somewhat haphazard. When she was younger, she absolutely ended up in the emergency room every other week. Everything about her is disorganized on the outside (think messy room, messy desk, messy suitcase) but she actually has it all together and neatly organized inside her head, which is a relief. She is kind of a walking contradiction and a bizarre mixture of perfectionist and slacker, people pleaser and badass.

All in all, she's spunky and a spitfire and a little firecracker. She can be annoying to some, and others find her downright mean, and she has her fair share of haters. People don't always like how she acts, or how loud she is. But in the end, she really is a caring and intelligent person, and hey, not everyone can be liked by everyone.

Sophia is good at school. She is exceptionally intelligent when it comes to mathematics, and she is one of the best friends you could ever have — if you can actually handle her. Her intensity is both a strength and a weakness, as is her bravery (which can lead to recklessness).

She's also good at connecting with people. Whether those connections last without her accidentally ruining it is another story, but due to her generally open and friendly nature, she definitely helps put the room at ease a bit.

Sophia is hot-tempered and sometimes has tunnel vision. She can also be domineering and manipulative; she is a control freak and sometimes doesn't have much of a filter. And she can be stubborn and hold grudges, even when it's in everyone's best interest for her to move on.

Most of the time she literally can't stop talking. It's an issue of impulsivity and just her personality (and perhaps a bit of a deep down need to feel heard and noticed) and quieter people don't mind, but she clashes with others who have equally strong personalities. If she could change one thing about herself, she would definitely want to be less talkative, because she knows that many people find it really irritating. So does she, sometimes.

One secret Sophia has is that she's managed to track down her birth mother. She had to do a lot of research, go through a lot of slightly sketchy channels, but she has had her biological mother's name and phone for 3 years now. She's just too terrified to reach out. Her biggest fear is that she will finally muster up the courage to meet her mother, and her mother won't like her. Or she won't like her mother.

It's so petty, but she chews gum all the time, and really loudly. Purposefully loudly, just to be annoying. Drives everyone up the wall.

She was abandoned by her mother in Russia as a newborn and taken to an impoverished orphanage. Eventually her parents adopted her, at which point she had to have language therapy because she was already speaking and comprehending Russian. Her parents tried to put her in Russian school to continue to learn Russian (just as well as English) but, wanting no roots to remind her of her past, she refused. Now, she regrets not being bilingual.

Growing up, she was a bright and gifted child but pretty hyperactive. She was tested for ADHD, but it was finally concluded that that's just her personality. She went through a tomboy phase in elementary school. In 8th grade, she tried to "fit in" and appease the bullies by changing all her clothes, acting stupid, and eventually developing an eating disorder, for which she was hospitalized for 3 months. Her teachers gave her all A's despite her never finishing the year, and offered her the chance to go into high school with a fresh start.

Unfortunately, Sophia went on to spend much of ninth grade in and out of hospitals for suspected borderline personality disorder. When she returned, her reputation was so bad amongst her peers because of the drama from middle school that she ended up moving to a different state for tenth grade. Since then, she's gotten much more stable, though she still has underlying anxiety and takes meds. People were quick to like/hate her at her new school. Those who liked her became her closest friends and remain so to this day.

Background information:
Nessa grew up being bounced around in foster homes. Her biological mother was a teenager when she got pregnant with her, and decided to put the baby up for adoption. However, Nessa was born with a heart condition called Atrial Septal Defect, which means there was a hole in her heart between the left and right sides. Even though a minor surgery shortly after birth fixed the hole, many potential adoptive parents decided they didn't want her because of it. So Nessa was sent to different foster homes, learning to keep to herself and avoid conflict.

Ness turned 18 early in her senior year, and aged out of the foster care system. But because she is continuing her education, she was able to get grants to be able to afford a small apartment on her own as long as she had a part time job. Nessie lives alone, and was usually known in high school as the quiet girl who sits in the back of class and listens to music. She got scholarships to go to a state university to pursue her dream career of music composition, and was entirely surprised when she found out about the trip. Because she's never had the opportunity to travel before, Nessa quickly decided she would go.

Traits in an Emergency: in an urgent situation, Ray is extremely intellectual, logical, and quick on his feet and able to quickly analyze and solve problems that could save his and others' lives. He is also, unfortunately, prone to pessimism and hopelessness when he does not initially succeed or find a way out.

Ray’s relationship with his family has never been incredible, due to Ray's constant stress on himself for acting perfectly in front of them. From a young age, it had been made very clear to Ray that it was his father's intention to betroth to him the business he had built himself from the ground up. He was to maintain a perfect record, find the the perfect girl, and inherit the perfect career.

His evident vices stem from being taught by his parents throughout his childhood how to be presentable and professional at all times and how to run a business. Ray has begun to crack under the tremendous pressure being put on him, as he is uncertain of his ability, or even interest, to fulfill his father's wishes.

From all this derives his sometimes cold and distant nature, as he is very cynical and doubtful of the goodness of others. He judges people through their bad habits, vices, and past mistakes rather than through their possible benefits to a team and positive traits.

Bram is someone that's always able to adapt to his surrounding quickly and is always alert, usually only going to sleep when he knows that others are gonna be okay. He always has a clear mind and is able to think up of plans fast, being able to observe his surrounding, even when he shouldn't. He has always been someone that can know when someone is lying, but is usually never taken seriously.

Bram is always able to stay calm, even when something bad is happening. He is someone that's really athletic, having played sports before on high school. Martial Arts- Has learned to Fight using Aikido for self defense in order to not hurt others and Kickboxing.
Cooking- Has been cooking since he was little so he likes to cook

Adapting to Sorrounding- he has always been good at adopting to his surrounding.

Weakness-
Bad social skills- He comes off as someone Cold because he isn't really expressive with what he says, so he has really bad social skills.

Claustrophobia- has strong fear of small spaces mostly because when he was little, he was stuck on an elavator with his mom for a few hours. Since then he has stayed away from anything that has small spaces in it.

worst habit: He has a bad sense of direction, so he is often getting lost, usually coming back at night. Has trouble asking for help. Has been known to laugh a little bit when he is lying.

background information:
Abraham was born on Miami Florida, to Angela Smith and Harry Smith, on May 17. He was raised there for 5 years before his parents decided to move to Long Island, New York. Growing up, Beam was always the hyper active, smart kid who loved to hang out with guys his age but everything changed when he was on middle school. That's when the bullying started. Because he spent most of his time studying than hanging out with others at school, bullies saw him as easy targets and he became the center of their bullying, heck even the one person who he considered his best friend started bullying him again.

It was because of this, that his parent decided to move again. It was this move that helped him change into who he is today. But because of the bullying from before, he became anti social and only talked to when spoken to. He started to learn aikido to defense himself and not hurt the other person while Kickboxing was used by him to somehow vent his anger. At the beginning of his freshman, he joined the soccer team at his school and became one of the best at it, Even becoming the captain of the team. He used soccer as way to escape his problem from before and has never looked back on what he used to be before or what happened to him then. Through out his high school years, he never made many friends just two or three, but he only confided with his parent or more like his mom, that was until an accident struck. It was a normal day for him and his parent, as he was going with them on a trip, the car they were on hit by a drunk that driver, that caused his mom death and for him to end his career as a soccer player. He had trouble running because his left legand his left arm couldn't function as well as it used to before. It took him some time to be able to walk and run, but he had limp whenever walking and he had trouble raising his arm up or else a coarse of pain will go through his body. He has had to rely on his right side of the body since then. How he is able to use kick boxing? The answer to that is because his left leg only hurts when he walks or run but he doesn't have trouble raising it, but if he is ever kicked there, let's say he would be out for the count. Even though the drunk driver was caught and put into jail for 10 years, mostly because they felt the drunkess was the problem, it has been Bram dream to become a lawyer and make sure that the guy never sees the outside world again. Until this day, he always uses that motivation of becoming a lawyer to get into a good college and he did, being accepted into Duke University. Because of his ambition, his father decided to send him to the cruise ship, as a way to make sure he enjoys himself and learn to communicate with others.
