Fandom Bye Bye Le Petit Papillon (Miraculous Ladybug RP)

Thought of the jellyfish and firefly too! xD

Don't worry though, I haven't carried the ideas any further than their superhero appearances. I stuck with the animals that live relatively close to where I'm from, and am familiar with because of the cultures I grew up around. For example, butterflies, moths, owls, bats, and many more animals here are considered taboos.

Taboo? How are animals taboo.

Cultural backgrounds, superstitions, religious beliefs, or however you wish to say it.

The butterflies are representations of vanity. They bring out desire and deceive people by their bright colors and intricate patterns. The powder on them is considered bad, and I think causes arthritis or laziness in the person. Butterflies may lead humans to demise if the humans decide to trail after them. This butterfly tag is also used and/or is similar to some cultures where the butterfly is a demon that leads children foolish enough to follow them to their doom.

In many cultures an owl is an ill omen; owls are often linked with magic, which is extremely taboo. They're also connected to the night, the dark. You can understand why that is considered bad. But there a lot of cultures that think of them as good signs, too. Owls are attributed to wisdom and learning. In some cultures they are considered protectors of the dead.

Eyy, so they're all in middle school or early high school, am I right? The ages said 13-15 in wiki so I just picked the highest one. px

Dude, have you SEEN the French system? *hiss*

I'm aware of the various impressions of the owl. While it is believed to be an omen of bad things to come, it is known for some "good." The bat, dog, and cat are in this way too. The cultural research I do on tribes here, however, seem real absurd sometimes. But hey, every religion is in this way.

I thought there already was a Fennec fox OC.

No actually I haven't seen the French system. I was just calling America weird. Because, well... We are.

sorry for my inactivity. I had a double shift today.

@explosiveKitten I could.

Hold on, give me a minute to get myself something to eat and comfortable. You would not believe the day I had.
