Heavy Hitters: Being a task force consisting of veteran Naval Troopers and combat drones, they know how to cause some real damage. They do 3 DMG per attack instead of the standard 1 against infantry. Standard 1 DMG against battlesuits/vehicles/mechs unless otherwise stated.
Blackwell's Reavers:
Carnifex - Nil is a walking super weapon. Every five turns, is able to unleash a portion of his true power. Instantly kills foes, the number being determined by a d10 roll. Doesn't work on mini-bosses and above.
Deathproof - Caiden is a born survivor, and passes that trait on to his allies. If downed, players can roll to revive themselves without the need of medical assistance. If successful, player revives with half HP.

The cargo bay's layout was relatively organized, with stacks of large metal containers and boxes scattered about. Immediately around the Mordred's landing site was a circular open space, and just outside the circle was a set of metal containers just opposite of the ramp's opening. There were smaller metal containers and crates to the sides, which one could slide behind and crouch. The ONI troops were scattered about the cargo bay, in cover behind some of the metal containers, boxes, and some man-made fortifications like pop-up barricades and sandbags. The combat drones also sought out cover, but a bit louder as their metal limbs clacked across the metal floors. They didn't call out to their allies like the ONI troopers did, however. As soon as the ONI forces saw the mechs, they redirected their aim from the Mordred to the new targets. Two two-man teams quickly moved into position, carrying large anti-vehicular railguns to take on the mechs. The first laid down atop one of the metal containers, resting the railgun on a small bundle of sandbags as they targeted the C-355. The other laid down on the deck further back in the bay, with a clear line of sight on the Argent Pilgrim.
Vaulting off the cargo ramp before it hit the deck, Lauren tucked into a roll as she landed. As she popped up, she snapped her weapon up and squeezed the trigger as the muzzle pointed at a nearby trooper. The trooper had a split second to see that it was a stockless pump-action shotgun, before a wad of buckshot punched a hole through his chest. His allies nearby saw him go down, and quickly snapped around to open fire on Lauren as she slipped into cover behind one of the large metal containers. Valk was close behind, bolting off the ramp as it finally hit the bottom. Her shot went wide, however, missing an ONI trooper that had been shooting at Lauren. He counterattacked, swinging his carbine around and firing off a burst which clipped Valk as she slid into cover next to Lauren.
Nathalie slipped off the Mordred, cloaked but moving carefully to avoid becoming a target for the ONI troopers to shoot. Thankfully, the combat drones didn't notice her. At least, not yet. Shelby, however, was noticed as he blind fired over a crate he had ducked behind. His fire took out a combat drone, the bullets pelting the drone and shredding its headpiece. In retaliation, a pair of ONI troopers opened up on the box. Both missed, but their shots pierced the crate and hit the metal floor near Shelby's feet.
Vixaya, in her mech, quickly sprang into action, locking onto several of the ONI forces and opening up with its heavy machine gun. The high caliber ammunition ripped through the metal containers and crates, shredding both combat drones and ONI troopers alike. The return fire was insignificant, as the carbine's shots failed to really do much beyond put several dents in the outer plating of the mech. However, the railgun would likely cause some major damage. As it fired, the shot cracking loudly like a lightning bolt strike, Vixaya managed to avoid the shot by simply hopping to the side.
Vance darted down the ramp, sliding into cover on the left side of the Mordred and firing on an ONI trooper that had moved up into cover near where Lauren and Valkyrie had went. The shot missed, however, as the bolt collided with the box. Leaving a large smoldering scorch mark. The ONI trooper didn't have much luck either, as his carbine's shot ripped through the cover Vance was behind and completely missed the super soldier. Gunfire from his allies didn't do much to damage Vance either.
The Ardent Pilgrim, piloted by Katja, opened up on some of the ONI troops as well. Its coilgun opened fire, the thunderous clap sending a shot out that would obliterate a pair of combat drones in a makeshift barricaded positon. It followed up with a burst of laser fire, cutting down a pair of troopers, before firing off a missile from its shoulder launcher which decimated yet another combat drone. The railgun trained on it, however, would also score its own hit. After a brief retaliation from the ONI troopers, pelting the mech with shots, the railgun fired. The shot cracked like the other, and the round collided with the mech's left shoulder. The impact was hard enough to rattle the mech, forcing its shoulder to jerk back. The metal was caved in quite badly, a hole having been punched clean through. Electricity surged from the damaged limb, as bits of metal fell off onto the floor. The left arm, and its shoulder mounted missile launcher was no longer working either. Another hit like that in a vital, and the Ardent Pilgrim would likely be down for good unless the mech was tended to quickly.
Nil quickly slipped down the ramp, rushing towards one of the smaller crates to the side of the Mordred near where Shelby was. Weirdly, his eyes had shifted completely black yet again, and the three black marks on his forehead were rearranging themselves once more. "I'll try and contain myself a little better here!~" he said in Shelby's direction, before popping up with his rifle. A moment later, he let loose a flurry of rifle shots, his hand rapidly cycling the lever on the rifle after each shot. Eight shots were fired... and eight men dropped like sacks of rocks. Either shot through the head, or through the chest. With a final spin-cock of the rifle, he slipped back down. Laughing wildly, as he avoided any incoming retaliation fire.
Caiden, on the other hand, decided to get a little more personal with his attack. As soon as he slipped off the ramp, he rushed past the cargo crates to the left. A cluster of ONI troopers had moved around to try and flank from that direction, slipping behind a metal freight container, but what they got in exchange for that maneuver was Caiden darting towards them. LMG slung to his side, and a flat-headed machete in hand. What came next was a mix of machete slashes and fists flying as he beat, cut, and killed all five ONI troopers that had swung around to the side. An ONI trooper, falling back away from the massacre, attempted to shoot Caiden but missed. As did his allies covering him.
Damien's shots as he moved down the ramp and into cover missed their targets, his PDW proving to be inaccurate at the distance he was from his target. But it did assist in suppressing the enemy, as their shots also missed him. Following behind him was Drav, wielding her new heavy machine gun. As soon as her feet touched the deck, she opened up. The intense recoil didn't bother her at all, as the high caliber shots ripped through cover and killed four members of the ONI forces. She was hit by return fire, however, as a carbine shot hit her in the leg.
Typhon eventually joined the battle, taking aim and firing off a shot with his new Crimus revolver. He would soon find that the weapon's sights needed to be adjusted as the shot went several feet to an ONI trooper's right. The return shot from the ONI trooper hit him in the arm, leaving a nasty wound but something he'd live through. Amy's sniper shot, however, proved to be spot on. Her target's head exploded quite violently as the round hit, his body dropping afterwards. She dodged any return fire from the other ONI troopers, slipping off the Mordred and into cover.
"Heading back to get Olivia! I'll be back shortly!" said Aesha, her voice crackling through Valk's headset. And a moment later, the Mordred's ramp went back up as the ship rose and spun around. A moment later, it zipped back out of the bay, leaving the group to continue fighting the ONI troops that remained. It wouldn't be much longer afterwards that the Mordred arrived back in its hangar in the Mordred, quickly setting down and dropping its ramp. Olivia hurried inside with her mech, and the Mordred was on its way once more once she was loaded.
Back through space the Mordred darted, before arriving back in the cargo bay and dropping its ramp. It didn't lower very far, however. Instead, it moved just above one of the large freight containers. "Jump out, and get to shooting!" said Aesha through Olivia's comms.
