hurts my heart
Dead ass just signed up and already here like LOVE ME, so here's some stuff:
Other details to be discussed, but for now: COME AT ME.
Who: So my name is Lana and I'm 18+ from the actual worst timezone (AEST)! Parenting it up at home for a year with my baby, super excitable, and basically I just want your attention. RP-wise I'd consider myself literate with about a decade of experience behind me, but I'm also impatient and lazy and I just don't like writing novels back and forth in every post. Responses may vary according to circumstance and inspiration. Always down with multiples in RP, depending on the nature of said RP, and happy to RP canon or non-canon characters of either sex, any orientation, etc against whoever.
What: Give me all the RPs. No, really. What I want is literate, long term, super laid back RPs of pretty much any genre. Plots are necessary, but luckily I legit have ideas for pretty much any genre you can think of and I just happen to be a boss at brainstorming plot babies. That said, I'd love to hear your ideas! Romance in RP, unless the genre is specifically Romance, is always in addition to the plot. I will only RP with anyone 18+ if adult themes (gore, abuse etc) are present at all.
Specifics for the sake of clarity:
- You don't need anyone to dictate to you how long your posts should be.
- Post whenever you want, I'm chill as the Arctic.
- Please be at least literate with a decent enough grasp of grammar, syntax, etc.
- If adult themes are present in the RP, you must be at least eighteen. I am in my mid-twenties.
- PM > Email > Skype > Thread. No Discord.
- Romance in RP is not necessary and is in addition to the plot. But I am weak for it.
- Plots are necessary. Slide into my DMs for some bomb plotting. (50+ plots are available here.)
- No preferences in terms of gender or pairings. Romantic or platonic ships.
- OC and Canon friendly.
- Doubles, Multiples and Singles friendly.
- Proactive > Reactive RP. I will lose interest if the RP becomes stale.
- Please discuss potential triggers with me. I am open to all things in context.
- Send me memes. I just want your attention.
When: Forever interested!
Where: My preferred platform currently is PM or email as I check these religiously. Shoot me some deets about yourself, your interests, your style, your medium, etc. Please include some ideas as to what sort of RP or pairing you'd be interested in! No discord. (Aw, I know. I was great 'til then.)
Why: I miss RP.
Genres & Pairs: So as I already said, I'm down for whatever whenever character-wise, BUT I will bold anything I'm particularly interested in right now. I will alsostrike-throughanything I already have enough of. This list is under a state of forever being updated. Also, I will generally list the characters I'm interested in playing right now. Some basic ass plots below. Slide into my PMs if anything interests you. Something, I hope, should. There is a lot of plots. (No, really. This page is not for the faint of hearts. Apparently it's now my dump plot page.) I am not currently interested in plots that arestriked through.I am forever working on this list. Please note: All roles are interchangeable to some extent, with most plots simply a stepping off point for some dope brainstorming. This includes Canon-based plots, where I am open to genderswap AUs etc.
Plot One. (HP.) Due to prophecy, Lord Voldemort has personally murdered the entire Longbottom family. Assuming the prophecy fulfilled, Voldemort turns his attention instead toward bringing rise to wizarding supremacy and quashing the rebellion once and for all. James and Lily Potter survive with their infant son, Harry, and play major roles in the rebellion.
Plot Two. (HP.) The war was won by Lord Voldemort and his supporters in 1975. In the ten years since, a tyrannical totalitarian state has been established and all muggleborn witches and wizards (and sympathisers) have been arrested. A has been arrested and condemned to the annual tournament that pits against one another in a fight to the death. B, an agent of the Dark Lord and the arresting officer, and once the best friend or spouse of A, follows A into the arena in disguise and protects them fiercely.
Plot Three. (HP.) Lord Voldemort was victorious at the Battle of Hogwarts, crushing the rebellion and later establishing his tyrannical totalitarian government. Harry Potter, believed to be dead, in possession of the Deathly Hallows, escaped alone and travelled the world to reform the rebellion and find a lasting way to end Voldemort once and for all. Ten years later, he returns.
Plot Four. (HP.) In possession of the last time turner, Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy (or OC) pass through time to prevent the rise of Lord Voldemort. But their actions consistently have consequences and soon they race instead to prevent the death of Albus' father, Harry. An event which threatens to erase Albus from existence entirely.
Plot Five. (Inuyasha.) On the new moon, a human Inuyasha and his friends are attacked by Naraku's followers. Miroku is gravely injured when his wind tunnel is torn, and Kagome is kidnapped. Shippo and Sango depart with Miroku to seal his wounds while the human Inuyasha follows Kagome alone. Kikyo finds and accompanies him, but they are soon led straight into Naraku's trap.
Plot Six.(ATLA.) Several years following the arrest of Ozai, and Zuko's crowning as Fire Lord, tensions rise across the Fire Nation and rebellion breaks out. Zuko struggles under pressure, particularly against Ozai loyalists, and he starts to turn to his father for advice. Aang and his friends arrive to help Zuko bring peace to the Fire Nation, but Zuko continues to see his father in secret as he declines further into depression. When Aang finds out that Zuko has been seeking advice from his father, he decides Zuko has betrayed everything they fought so hard for and he leaves. Katara, however, understands and offers her support to Zuko.
Plot Seven.(Stranger Things.) Following the events of S2, Hawkins returns to normal and the media slowly begin to lose interest again. A new science teacher arrives to Hawkins Middle School, and almost immediately strange things begin to occur again. A student wakes screaming in the middle of a class film showing about smoke monsters, and ordinary Hawkins residents appear to begin watching Mike and his friends wherever they go. The Mind Flayer attempts to possess the residents of Hawkins through their dreams, aided by his agent whom Dustin later dubs the Bogeyman, this time with the intent of possessing Eleven and forcing her to reopen the gate to the Upside Down so he can drag all of Hawkins through.
Plot Eight. (Star Wars.) A and B are Jedi Knights, or Jedi and Padawan, who must go into hiding when Order 66 sees their unit of clone soldiers turn against them. They travel to an outer rim planet, or one of their home planets, and assume the cover story of a married couple returning to their home planet after several years of working on another planet. They may even decide to have or adopt a child to maintain their cover story. All the while, they search for any sign of other Jedi survivors and struggle to define the terms of their new relationship.Plot One. A is a soldier separated from their unit in enemy territory. B harbours A despite the considerable risk.
Plot Two. A and B are spies in competition working undercover for the same organisation, but differences must be put aside when B is burnt and left vulnerable. They team up to investigate the suspicious death of a fellow agent, for which B has been framed, and recover missing sensitive military information.
Plot Three. A is a world weary apocalypse survivor and mercenary, once a soldier, who accepts a job to transport a group of prisoners across a barren wasteland. B is one of these prisoners, and one of three destined to join the expanding harem of a cruel warlord. The group is followed by a selection of pirates of increasingly dark motive.
Plot Four. A and B are mutants. A, once a soldier and notorious as a mutant rebel, accepts a job to smuggle B across the post-nuclear wasteland that was once the USA. They are pursued by dark forces intent on capturing B alive.
Plot Five. After being coerced under duress into working for a crime boss, A and B find themselves executing bank heists and other major crime from west coast to east coast.
Plot Six. A and B are archaeologists who embark on the treasure hunt adventure of a lifetime when circumstances align to allow chase of a priceless ancient relic thought lost for centuries. Treasure hunters of more nefarious intent seek the same relic. Optionally, the relic sought is protected by a dark curse.
Plot Seven. A is a detective investigating the disappearance of heroin from police custody. B is a civilian who becomes entangled in A's investigation when they witness a murder. Both soon become targets of the mob when the investigation leads to political corruption that goes right to the top. Optionally, B is an undercover investigative reporter.
Plot Eight. After exposure to radioactive particles potentially alien in nature, A and B both gain apparent superhuman ability. While struggling to adapt, Earth comes under threat of imminent alien invasion and they must decide whether they continue their lives or they hero up.
Plot Nine. A and B are employees of an isolated research facility that has initiated procedural lockdown after an accidental environment toxin release warning. They receive nothing but radio silence from beyond the facility and as the days begin to stretch into weeks, and rations begin to dwindle, they suspect that they have been abandoned.Plot One. A leads a perfectly ordinary life until the day B kills their shadow. Once an innocuous shape that would follow them around from dawn to dusk, suddenly becomes an writhing oily mass that screams as it dies. Dragged away, virtually kidnapped and very confused, A learns that they are an earthbound Angel about to inherit their bound Grace, and that the Border Ghouls are drawn to pure energy. And that's all. B will reveal no more, including who they are and what they want. But it doesn't take A long to gather enough Grace to see through the glamour that hides B's wings from human eyes...
Plot Two.Because of a deal made by A to save the life of someone they love, their soul is cast from their comatose human form and sent to Hell to be auctioned for whatever use their purchaser sees fit. B is a High Demon, third eldest son of the High King, Lucifer, who purchases A to replace their last whipping slave. Except they keep finding reasons to avoid violence and they can't understand why.
Plot Three. A is new in town and has just moved in next door to B. A becomes fast friends with B's sibling, but B is very distant, rude and flat out tells A that they don't want them around their sibling. A immediately dislikes B, but what they don't know is that B and sibling are actually illegal aliens. Literally. They are refugees from a dead planet and think they are the last of their kind. B is only so rude because they want to keep A from discovering their secret and potentially revealing them to alien hunters.
Plot Four. A comes from a large extended family of werewolves that must imprint to mate. Imprinting is instinctual, uncontrollable and unavoidable every mating season. But normally one werewolf will only imprint on another, and only vary rarely does a life imprint occur between a human and werewolf. In which case the human must become a werewolf and join the pack, or be killed if they refuse. A is distressed when they imprint on B at random and realise they've potentially ruined B's life forever. B suspects nothing, except that they like the mysterious A, until a wolf begins to stalk them.
Plot Five. In a dystopian future, a vampire-like virus has infected much of the world's population and given rise to the Vampire Supremacy. What humans remain are bred and raised like cattle on Blood Farms, but the supply is not enough to quench the demand. Most vampires have either become feral or starved to death, or died in clan skirmishes, and those who remain are in a race against human extinction to create a synthetic blood that can sustain them. A and B are farm humans who are pushed to escape when A is selected to become the personal blood slave of a High Vampire. Alternatively, B is the High Vampire who introduces A to the glitzy life of the elite.
Plot Six. A and B join an experimental research team into paranormal phenomena. Immediately they don't see eye to eye and this often leads them into trouble during their investigations, but when A is kidnapped by their latest subject, the near extinct Draconic Humanoid, B doesn't hesitate to go after them. Even if it means revealing their own Draconic ancestry, and laying claim to A as their mate.
Plot Seven. A is living a reincarnation not intended for them. After dying in their previous life, A was reaped by B and taken to Purgatory to await judgment. While there, A and B fell in love and B did the unthinkable when confronted with the possibility of A's soul deteriorating and disappearing forever - B stole another soul's opportunity to reincarnate by pushing A through the portal instead. A was reborn, their memories of B completely erased, and B was condemned to Hell Eternal in disgrace. Many years later, however, B is released on non-corporeal probation to hunt the escaped (corrupted) soul they denied reincarnation. This is how they come across A again.
Plot Eight. A does not believe in magic, nobody does, this is the real world after all, but they soon find that rubbing an old tarnished lamp summons a genie of phenomenal cosmic power to bid them three wishes. B is, however, initially uncooperative and tries to sabotage A's wishes. This leads to their lamp falling into the hands of a cruel master of diabolical nature, who forces A into servitude when a rescue attempt fails. A and B must reconcile their differences before B's new master can steal B's power for themselves.
Plot Nine. A, newly crowned monarch, is lost at sea when their ship is attacked and sunk by a Siren-controlled sea monster. With tensions between the humans and Sirens already strung taught, war is declared in retaliation. A has, however, been rescued by B, a Siren, and is harboured away from the war for the time being as they are nursed back to health. B, under duress, eventually reveals a collaboration between corrupt Sirens and humans that led to the ship attack and the start of the war. A must return home to stop a usurper and the mounting war.
Plot Ten. A must complete three trials to recover lost memories of their true identity and gain access to the Fae kingdom they once called home. B is their reluctant Fae bodyguard, bound by a promise to protect A with their life. Dark forces aim to stop them by any means.
Plot Eleven. A is married by proxy to the cruel monarch of a kingdom far from home. Arriving at a terrifying castle shrouded by mist and flagged by screaming gargoyles alone, A curiously investigates the endless maze caught in a timeless state of disrepair and rot. They meet B, the ghostly double of the proud and beautiful figure in portraits torn partly from walls. B has been forced to restlessly haunt the castle for nearly one hundred years, cursed eternal to the prison of their current state by the current absent monarch, and A may be next.
Plot Twelve. A earns the ire of a Greek goddess and is married by proxy to the God of the Underworld, Hades. Kidnapped by Hades' agents from the mortal realm, A is transported to the Underworld and their new domain where they learn they must complete a set of three trials in order to gain immortality and inherit their joint crown. Doing so will give them power over the dead. B is their reluctant ghostly guide. Optionally, B later reveals that they are Hades.
Plot Thirteen. A is a Star forced from the heavens by witchcraft. B hits A with their car and by opening their door to A, unaware of the malevolent witches pursuing them, B soon discovers that destiny has a funny way of bringing soulmates together. On their journey to put A back in the sky, they encounter all manner of magical kin hidden within plain sight of the mortal realm.
Plot Fourteen. Late one night behind a club they have been known to frequent, A stumbles through an enchanted mirror into a strange and twisted Wonderland not remotely similar to the books. They are discovered by a vaguely recognisable B, who is introduced as Hatter, and soon become embroiled in a treasonous plot to overthrow the Red Queen. When B is arrested and sentenced to death, A must lead and take up the mantle always destined for them. A must become Alice.Plot One. A and B are portal jumpers who travel through time to maintain the linear progression as portal ruptures threaten to destabilise and collapse time itself. Alternatively, A is the portal jumper while B is a civilian or historical figure who opts to aid them.
Plot Two. A, convinced that their sibling has been kidnapped by the most notorious pirate of the time, propositions B, a pirate captain, and crew to give chase for a sizeable reward. Their chase leads them on a treasure hunt, to the border between worlds and into a fight for survival they hadn't expected.
Plot Three. A, an English civilian discovered in Scotland by English infantry during their occupation of Scottish territory, comes under suspicion of being a spy. To avoid arrest and a lengthy trial, A pays a Scot to help them escape back to England. B, the Scot, instead is forced to bring A to their Laird where they claim to have married in secret. While preparations are made to celebrate the ruse of their fake marriage, A and B plot their escape to England. But the Infantry is not far behind.
Plot Four. A case of mistaken identity leads A to be selected as a potential suitor to their recently crowned monarch. Moved into an empty castle suite, treated as royalty and prisoner alike, and paraded in preparation for announcement of a royal engagement, A finally meets B at the announcement ball. Only after do they discover that they are at the centre of a treasonous plot that may cost B their life.Plot One. A has lived amid a group of survivors following the zombie apocalypse for nearly two years. B is a new refugee, once a soldier, than a mercenary and soldier of fortune, who quickly finds a position with the scavengers who regularly travel beyond city walls. B establishes a city guard nearly overnight and quietly raises a militia which A joins to protect the city. B is arrested on suspicion of subterfuge, but then the marauders come.
Plot Two. A and B are paranormal investigators who regularly take cases involving malevolent events. A is a survivor of childhood possession still seeking answers and haunted by the death of a twin. B is a medium who straddles the barrier between life and death after a botched teen suicide attempt. They hunt a dark entity determined to split the barrier.
Plot Three. A and B are pursued across the world by a malevolent entity on a bloody rampage. They run and it gives chase, leaving nothing but bodies in their wake. Convinced that the entity is demonic in nature, jokingly summoned during a drunken game at a party, of which they are the last survivors, the truth is far more terrifying. One of them is harbouring a dark secret.Scenarios.

Plot Three. A and B are soldiers sent into San Diego six days after a devastating alien invasion.
