Realistic or Modern Broken Fairytale- Accepting

"Thank you but my step mother is rather up herself and probably wouldn't talk to you, in fact she might guess that you're helping me she's that kind of person. I do appreciate the thought though. Though even if you did manage now that I think about it Lucifer will probably eat most of my friends..." She said starti to worry about all the mice and birds running around her house trying to clean up, she loved her little animal friends and she appreciated them helping her out so that she could go out and experience a limited freedom.

When you dream then you can start

A dream is a wish you make with your heart.

The girl bit her lip a little and shook her head a bit. "Well see you later I guess, have fun with your festival and all that." She said deciding it'd be best that she got back before she found her friends slaughtered or eaten, it wouldn't be pleasant and she'd have to clean it all up. That was not something she wanted to give her step family the pleasure of seeing, not anyday as long as she could help it.

"It's only a dream. . . . A dream. .why?" Alicia thought to herself, standing again in front of the mirror. Her hair wet while her eyes were tired and dull. Exhausted from having those dreams over and over again, as if they were torturing her. She tried to block all of her negative thoughts and a vision flashed right before her.

The girl sat beside the Hatter on a very long table. She took a sip of her tea when the Hatter asked her. . . .

"Alice? Have I gone mad?"

"I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are"

The it faded away, leaving her with dizziness and held the sink to avoid herself from falling. She remembered that the person she saw was a younger version of herself. Alicia got confused, it was almost impossible. Did she even that these dreams of wonderland when she was young? Last time she checked is when she was showered with pity and teased by other kids. Oh how she hated it. Her mind was interrupted by an alarm clock, indicating that it was time to wake up. Guess she forgot to shut it off. She groaned and walked towards her dresser to get ready and left the apartment. She guessed that a small stroll around the town wouldn't hurt.

Rosalyn nodded at the girl and sighed, "Well good luck with your step mother. Maybe I'll see you around! " And then she heard a deep voice, almost a growl, promise that he'll see them again. And it made her feel so happy. But who did voice belong to?

"I don't know hatter"

"Alice? Have I gone mad?"

"I'm afriad so,. You're entirely bonkers. But shall I tell you a secret? All the best people usually are"

The twins shoved their hands into their pockets as they walk, oddly looking near the exact same if it wasn't for their separate hair colors. The walk was a decent one, and silent, neither man being the talkative type. It wasn't until they drew closer to Lucian, the man covered with blood and dirt, and something strange about him. More animalistic, wolf like. Ian leaned himself against a tree, shifting his arms so that they were crossed over his chest, eyeing Lucian from where he stood. He glanced toward the one that had apparently been following them, a girl, grotesque, but yet something seemed hazy about her. As if a fog surrounded her. He shook his head slightly, pushing the idea from his mind, "Did the garbage truck chew you up and spit you back out?" he asked harshly, looking over at the girl that Lucian had called Donkeyskin. He looked back over at the other, "Of course you've gone insane. You're covered in rabbit's blood, and dirt. Can't get much crazier than that." he chuckled, smirking.

Reine rolled his eyes, "Ian, shut up." he grumbled at his brother, "I don't know what's going on around her, but lots of things have been going weird. Ian might not have noticed, but I did. First, I swear I saw snow outside the office today. Second, what ever is going on with Lucian. Not to mention whatever commotion is going on in the diner." he shook his head, and looked at Lucian. "Speaking of..." he started, and Ian spoke up to finish the sentence. "Shouldn't you be eating breakfast in the diner rather than out here in the forest?" the white haired man asked for his brother. Ian paused a moment as what his brother had mentioned sunk through his thoughts, "So I wasn't the only one. Just before we ate, I swear the railing outside the apartment was covered with frost and part of it felt like smooth wood rather than metal." he said, sounding more and more confused as he added his strange occurrence to the mix.

I....feel free to continue going along if you can without us for a bit. Maddox had an accident. I'm not sure what's going to happen.

Jack Montgomery, the adult with the mind of a young boy, stood on his own, leaned towards a maniacly smiling scarewcrow near a popular diner downtown. His little friend hung in a dull pose from the wooden cross behind his back. By the feet of the two stood a carved out pumpkin with the same smile as the scarecrow. The big question was, did anyone really like halloween or was it just some nostalgic reason behind it? In Jack's case, halloween was the most amusing night of the year. Constant pranks and dress-up games, there is no complain in that, at least not to our dear Jack. No, he enjoyed every second of it, especially the prank part. But this just now, was something all too different from his nature. Instead of running around pranking or teasing his friends, all he did was stand still and dazing off. Nothing caught his attention except the pale blue sky above his head. From where this behavior came from, no one knew, not even himself. All he did know was that something was odd.

While dazing off, hoarse voices whispered in the back of his head. At first, it didn't mind him, he barely noticed it. But for every time they spoke, their voices got louder and louder until it was a complete blur of noises. His vision got worse as the voices grew louder, and in the end he saw nothing but the sky. That's when the voices stopped their whispering, but one voice, a young boy's voice, kept repeating the same sentence over and over again.
"Second star to the right, and straight on 'til morning" the voice kept saying. And for a moment there, he could have sworn that he saw something glimmer in the sky even though the sun stood high. A pale light from the blue sky, something that seemed oh so rare. But the moment he reached his hand up towards it, it was gone. Well, one would say that he had gotten a little mad lately, but this was something out of the ordinary. Jack snapped back to reality with a jerk and quickly glanced around to see if someone had caught him dazing off. Clearly, no one had, as everyone was occupied with fixing and decorating for the upcoming festival. When Jack walked off towards the diner, where he hoped to find some company, the same quote kept echoing in his ears.

"Second star to the right, and straight on 'til morning"

Desiree Montressor stood at the sink washing dishes looking out of the wide window thinking about her dreams. She has had the same dream for two nights now, she would be hugging her father tears streaming down her face then in a flash she would be at a large castle, the feeling of apprehension weighing heavily in her mind. And right before she opened the large oak doors she would wake up in a cold sweat. She is brought out of her thoughts when a cup slips out of her hands and falls to the wooden floor with a loud cracking sound. "Shit." Desiree mutters picking up the cup inspecting the damage. She turns it over seeing a large chip on the smooth surface. Suddenly she is running up a large staircase to the sound of a thunderous roar. She enters a room and sees the beast. "W-what is it master." she asks frightened. The beast turns to her cold eyes glaring into her soul.

"You chipped my cup," he says with a growl showing her the tiny teacup she had broken earlier, "Useless girl, maybe I should just eat you instead?" He says grinning. Desiree's eyes flash open in surprise and she realizes she is still in the kitchen of one of her employers houses. She goes to retrieve a dustpan and a broom to clean up the mess the beasts words ringing in her ears. After the mess is cleaned Desiree saunters into the large living room where she begins to collect her cleaning supplies thinking about what just happened. She hears the front door being opened and she looks up to see one of her employers hanging his keys up on a ring where various other keys clang together. He turns to her admiring her slender physique in her tiny french maid uniform. Desiree places her supplies into her bucket and picking up her bucket makes her way to the man. "I put fresh towels in both bathrooms and changed the sheets to all three beds." She tells the man as he takes out his wallet to fetch her payment. "And if you ever need anything else, and I mean anything, just call." She says giving the man a flirtatious grin as she takes her money from the man. Desiree heads out of the house and she decided that she would head over to visit the local diner to grab some food before going home. She opens the trunk of her little black car tossing her bucket of cleaning supplies inside she closes the trunk with a thud. She opens the driver side door and climbing in she starts the ignition and pulls out of the driveway.

Before going home Eleanor checked the time and decided she had enough time to get something from the local diner, she didn't have much but she'd be able to get a milkshake if the price hadn't gone up. Quickly she ran towards the diner hoping she wouldn't be too late or she'd never hear the end of it from the slave drivers, also known as the only family she had left. It was a pain in the neck but she didn't have any other option.

A dream is a wish your heart makes

When you're fast asleep

Once she got to the diner a few minutes later she was surprised to see more people than she had at first been expecting, however she hadn't been there for a while so she supposed she didn't really know how many people were usually there. Shaking her head a bit she checked the menu for something she could afford with three dollars, probably not much but it'd be better than what she usually had.
