Brightshadow Academies

Riker sighed and looked back at Shaw. He cracked his knuckles out of habit and tilted his head to the side. With a questioning look to Shaw, he asked, "Have you met any new students?" He was genuinely curious, which was rare. Most of the time he'd ask something only to start a conversation.

Natasia sat up. "Oh your right." Of course it was on her papers. She stood up and walked around. She wanted classes to start. She was curious to see what they had in store. She looked out of the window and back to Sedrian. "I'm am sorry for earlier." She felt remorse for leading him on and then treating him coldly. She wanted to make it up. "You want to go somewhere? We can go for a walk." She smiled at him while he lye there.

The woman's head cocked to the side slightly in confusion, and reactively tilted it back. "What is he talking about?, new students?". A small sigh escaped her soft lips as she took in the room through her peripherals.

"What do you mean new students?"

Everyone looked different to the people she remembered in her waking life, she did not recognise anyone. Double taking, her irises flashed in between the bodies. There were black and white silhouettes behind every one of them... "What.. Is this?". Her body froze instinctively. Her eyes widened as she looked closer.. "Wings?".

The others snowy wings seemed to glow ever so slightly, like an illumination and it attracted Rose, she felt drawn to it, slightly comforted by the presence. "Now i think about it, there was a white light i walked into". A sharp pain jolted through her temple. Her hand slapped onto her head, her eyes squinted and squashed together in discomfort. The pain lasted only moments, as her memory of the white light disappeared.

The dusky wings seemed to glow ever so slightly, and it intimidated Rose, although she oddly felt drawn to it. She stared at the tall male, took in his features. His golden hair was unique, "I guess i'll call him Goldie". Thinking back, the entrance to the building resembled a school..

"Wait, is this a school?"

(Ah, she's in the wrong courtyard. She should be in Nico's courtyard. That would be the Prewing courtyard. Riker is in the Shadowheart courtyard. o - o)

She can just be lost xD

Sedrian looked at her when she offered that to him. He didn't like doing things like that, but he figured he might as well. "Sure." he closed his book and stood up. "Wanna dress up first?"

Nico sighed. After he had given the introduction, he felt oddly tired. He rubbed his face and let his head droop. "Honestly, there needs to be another one of these schools or something." he complained to himself. "There are way too many students." He sat down on one of the benches and watched as people walked by, some new students others old students. One could tell by the way they walked. New students seemed confused, terrified and unsure. While on the other hand, older students knew what was going on and they didn't seem as if they had millions of questions to ask. Some of the older students who had taken Flight had their wings out. With a chuckle, Nico watch as some of them launched themselves into the air, leaving others gaping on the ground.

It made him think of his first day as a teacher; his first class ever. He had had to explain why some people had wings and why others didn't.

"We all have wings," he said to the class of wide eyed students. "The thing is, you have to know how to use them. How to make them yours. Right now, for those of you who can't unfurl them, they won't listen to you. You have to show them who's in control. They're like wild animals that need to be tamed, I'm speaking figureatively of course, but you still need to learn how to control them. You are the one flying. They are only there to keep you in the sky."

Whispered conversation broke out in the class. Nico smiled and looked at the other flight teacher. "Anything you need to add?" The teacher shook their head. "You basically explained it perfectly." they had said.
(Well, basically it's only been Shadowhearts so far. I skipped through the introduction for Purewings and now my Purewing teacher, Nico, is sitting in the courtyard all alone. Eh, Rose need to get her room number and there won't be a roommate for her just yet.)

Chestnut hair swayed behind Rose as she walked towards the courtyard, where the teacher with the raven coloured hair sat. She was still confused, a million questions in deed running through her head, but none she could catch on to, to ask.

Click clack, click clack.

"I really need to wear different shoes, these echo too much around here", this was the only thought that resigned with Rose. She stopped for a moment, looking up at the flying students. The sky looked as beautiful as snow, white, crystal, clear. "Am i going to be able to do that?", she questioned herself.

"U-um.. Excuse me"

Chocolate eyes darted from the teacher to her feet, Rose cursed herself, she wasn't sure why she was talking to the teacher. "Why was she here? What is this place? How would someone like him be able to answer my questions?" Her eyes worked their way back to the man in front of her. Her mind went blank and she lost all her questions, thoughts, everything.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay! Also, sorry for the confusion D:
Nico looked up at the sound of heels against the pavement. His blue-green eyes landed on a girl with chestnut hair and he blinked. So she had been the one thinking about wearing different shoes. "Why am I here? What is this place? How would someone like him be able to answer my questions?" That's when the thoughts stopped. A smirk played on his lips and his eyes sparkle with mischief as he realized that she had stopped thinking altogether. "Yes? Can I help you with something?" he asked, his voice quiet, yet loud enough for her to hear. He reached up to move his hair out of his eyes as he racked the girl's thoughts. Still nothing...
Natasia tilted her head in confusion. Then it clicked. "Oh, yeah your right." She giggled as she looked at her Victoria's secret ensemble. She hurried to her dresser, pulling out a pair of odd looking pants. They were black leather, skin tight, and were laced up all along the front of the leg from tip of the thigh, all the way through the bottom of the ankle. There was no fabric underneath the laces, allowing for full view of the leg from head on. She also pulled out a loose fitting top that had a completely open back and tied around the neck and waist. To counteract with the dark materials, she pulled out a long, white Fox fur. She stroked it, feeling the silky texture. It was one of her most expensive, designer pieces of apparel. She draped it over her shoulders and wrapped it around her arms. She finished off the look with a lacquered wood wedge. Pleased with her high fashion look, she turned to Sedrian. "Am I dressed up enough?" She giggled.
"Looks fine to me." He dresses up in his usual outfit, it was pretty lucky he had about 10 of the exact same outfit. "Before you say anything, yes, I have ten of the exact same outfit, I don't prefer to wear much of anything else." he said before she questions, or mocks it.
Natasia begins to frown. "That's all you wear? No Gucci? Fendi? No... Galliano?" She sounded almost horrified at the thought of no designer clothing. She sighed. "Oh well. I suppose if there's a store here, I'll just have to buy you some fitted jeans and at least a tee." She doubted that there may be a shopping district here. There wasn't even a way to make money to spend in a shopping district. She shrugged it off and opened the door for Sedrian. "So where do you want to take me?"
Taking in the male before her, Rose tilted her hed upwards for her chocolate irises met his gaze, he was a decent amount taller than her, her eye twitched a little. As he smirked, her eyes contracted a little, she felt confronted and refused to be the smaller person.
"Who are you."
Her mouth moved on instinct, the bitter tone clear, however her speech was barely in earshot. The second she realised what she said, she regretted it, her body filling with disbelief. "I'm horrible. I don't even know this person". She mentally cussed herself.
Now feeling uncomfortable, her hands worked their way behind her back, fingers intertwining, now being able to fidget without drawing too much attention to herself. However, her tall, confident stance remained and her gaze did not falter. She looked him over, he was smartly dressed, sure but there was something about him..
Immediately, Nico's smirk became a scowl. "Another one, eh?" he grumbled. "What's with all the people with attitude dying? Seriously." He crossed his arms in front of himself and stood up. He unfurled his large, white wings. "Weren't you here for the introductions? I don't like repeating myself." he continued, irritated. Once again, someone turns his mood for the worse.
His right eye twitched as he stretched out his wings. His arms remained crossed. "My name is Nico, but you have to call me Mr. Montgomery. I'll be one of your three teachers this year. You know, assuming you're a Purewing."
(I've decided that since there are so many categories for Telepathy, Nico will just have different class periods. So the teachers for the Purewings would be the Healing teacher, the flight teacher, and Nico with all his classes. llD)
Her sharp gaze quickly became a harsh glare at this man's rude remarks. Rose found herself staring daggers at him. "You're so lucky looks actually can't kill".
"Maybe you're the one with the attitude!"
Rose quickly looked away, her arms crossing her chest, all in one fluid motion. Roses body was reacting to her anger. How annoying, why does he have to be my teacher! Wait..
"What do you mean classes?"
Rose forgot about her anger, talk about mood swings. She looked back at Nico, empty irises, confused expression, blank thoughts. What is he talking about?
During the introductions, Rose was daydreaming, questioning things, perplexed. Practically in her own world. There were voices talking, mindless chatter around her but none of it resonated with her, or her mind, or memory. She only noticed some faces, as they stood out from the crowd. Most of which were standing, facing everyone, addressing them. "I guess it would make sense if this was a school..". She never thought of that, never put two and two together.
"But why am i here".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Okay! Sounds easier ( ^∇^)

Natasia gave him a wryly grin. "Yay! Good, you so need some clothes. Now let's hope there's a store somewhere. If there even is a place outside of this school. We should ask Riker." She was off, pulling Sedrian behind. Her high heeled wedges were not clicking. Her years of runway training had taught her how to walk in any heel with silence. She wondered if Riker was still in the courtyard. She liked walking around on campus, showing off her walk and her fashionable clothing. She eventually made it back to the courtyard where she recently was. "Riker?!" She yelled. "I have a question for you!"

Nico's stare remained cold as he faced the girl. "But why am I here" Nico tilted his chin up, indignantly.

"You're here because you're dead." he replied bluntly. His eyes darkened in anger and annoyance. I'm going to have to speak to Alorien about these students. With a huff, he uncrossed his arms and folded his wings against his body. "Classes start sometime this week. It's not confirmed when, seeing as we still need a Healing teacher, but there will be classes. You, another one of those brats, will have most of your classes with me. You'll be learning Telepathy and it's many aspects in my classes."

His left hand twitched and he clenched in into a fist behind his back. Knowing himself, he didn't doubt that he'd hit something. He just had to control himself until he was alone.
"Yes, random student?!?" Riker shouted rather comically across the courtyard to no one in particular as he turned away from Shaw. He then spotted a rather flashy looking girl and made a face. Is she the one who yelled that? He flipped his hair out of his eyes.

Natasia grinned. It felt good to get results as soon as they were asked. She laughed at the random student comment. What a teacher thing to say. She turned to the area of his voice and proceeded towards him. She popped her fur up off her shoulders and let it drape around her arms. She smiled devilishly at Riker. "Nice to finally meet you," she beamed. "Now to my question. Where exactly are we? Is there a place outside of this school? Are there stores? Restaurants?" She looked back Sedrian. Oh boy did he need a new wardrobe especially if they were going to be a couple. Of course Natasia would not make that an easy process.

Sedrian was really surprised when she grabbed him and dragged him off. He would've told her to let go or try to pull away, but he was enjoying it surprisingly. But he wasn't gonna let her know that, so he put on his 'what the hell?!' face.

Her eyes widened in shock. "Did i say that out loud? No, i'm positive i didn't". A blank expression befell Rose's face, as she took in what the teacher standing in front of her said. She felt smothered, his snowy wings taking up more room than he already was, it was like he was a giant brick wall in her way. Ironic, she thought.

"Did you just say telepathy?!"

She uncrossed her arms, using one to flick her chestnut bangs away from her eyes, which seemed to glimmer. The fact she was dead was clearly lacking from her mind.

"Does that mean i can move things with my mind!"

Beginning to fill with excitement, a giant grin filling her face, the rare childish side to her began to show. Which stopped a few seconds after as she composed herself, both hands trailing down her crimson dress, straightening it, being fickle as always. She looked at Nico again, up and down and took her time at it too.

"Wait, so why are you here?"

Riker glance at the guy next to "Flash girl" and blinked. He scratched the back of his head and narrowed his eyes at them. Puffing out his cheeks, he said, "Hold your horses, Girlie. First off," he studied her over. "Who are you?" His blue eyes shifted to the guy behind Flash Girl. "And why do you need to know all that?"

Nico sighed, his glare fading. "I'm twenty-four, but I've been here since I was ten." His wings disappeared as he sat back down on the bench. He stared at his shoes for a momen before looking back up at the girl. "I want to know your name before I tell you anything else about myself. Hell, I don't even have to tell you anything, but I will since I've got nothing better to do." He decided to leave her first two questions for class.

Natasia let out the slightest smile. "I am Natasia. Natasia Uchlov." She looked back at Sedrian. "That is my friend, Sedrian." She was trying to suppress her cocky, seductive attitude but being sweet and respectful wasn't really at all in genes. "My friend has no sense of style, and as you can see," she said, gesturing to her high fashion ensemble, "I have plenty experience with clothing. So in short, were bored and we want to go shopping. Hook me up?" She winked, placing a hand on her hip.
