Too many times have I fooled myself into believing something like that is possible.

i have only been able to see that once on this site. and even then it had to stop abruptly because of real life issues the GM had. otherwise no RP i've seen on this site last longer than up to the first initial arc/conflict for one reason or another

The ones that I've seen go far are not really... planned experiences? They are usually messy 8+ active people rps with at least half writing one paragraph posts several times a day. The other half keeps dropping out but they just keep going, always recruiting. Imo that's proly because shorter posts give less room for procrastination.

And then there are the cool kids. Small consistent private groups are always lurking somewhere half-off-site. Very hard to find, but they work best because when you know your group well you can't really afford to not show up. They'll judge you, boo, social pressure.

So that just leaves Simple_Traveler and The Suspicious Eye to see if they want to be a part of the revival.
