Futuristic Brain Burger

Conner hurried down the steps with his M-16 over one shoulder and a backpack on his back. "I ain't late, and I'm going." he said, not really sure where they were going again. Seeing a new member, he says "Who is the new guy?"

Chandler looked over his shoulder and stood up from the kitchen table; he walked out into the lobby to join them all. "Yeah. That's me... I'm Chandler." He said to the both of them with a soft smile. (@Beowulf, @32sillylight32)

"Nice to meet you them." he said to Chandler. Why were they taking in so many people? Eventually they wouldn't be able to support all of them, and some would die of starvation or thirst.

"Yeah, you too... I'm lucky to even be alive, to be honest... I passed out on the rubble on the street just across from here; I hit my head pretty hard." He said as he pointed up to the stitches that were above his left eyebrow. ".. If it wasn't the Shamblers' that killed me, it would've been the snow." He stated. (@Beowulf, @32sillylight32)

"Bloody snow. It's to cold up here. I could have stayed in Florida, were it was warm. But thanks to my kind heart, I'm here." Conner muttered to himself. He really didn't like the cold. And I mean really didn't like it. So, he was wearing all the spare clothes he could in an attempt to stay as warm as possible.

"Ain't nothin' left in Florida. I started off there with my old group... We started off in Fort Lauderdale and went and found the military in Jacksonville. We didn't have anythin' after that. We stayed at some..." He paused and thought to himself. "Facility, or 'underground compound' out in the middle of the Tiger Bay State Forest, but that didn't last long - we heard of some big settlement up in Virginia, which is where my dad told me to drive to after he got--.. Before I left him..." He sighs and looks away for a minute. ".. We never got any radio calls from Virginia, though. And I drove too far and didn't see anythin' - after all that, here I am." He said to him, shrugging thereafter. (@Beowulf, @32sillylight32)

Tessa looked at her feet, her gun slung over her shoulder. She was already cold, not that she'd say anything about it, and couldn't wait to be out collecting what they needed. She worried about Bellamy, and the other kids, more than she knew that she should. They were more than capable of looking after themselves for a few hours, but Tessa would be glad when they were back. Looking up, Tessa gave Clary a small smile, seeing that she wanted to join them. Clary gave her a simple nod in greeting before returning to look at the other people that were grouped around.

Bellamy dressed and began to wander around with his hands in his back pockets. He was hungry, deciding to search for anyone who could direct him to the kitchen but he ended up hopelessly lost.

Noah closed his book and shoved it in his rucksack before showing a lopsided smile. '' Yup! where exactly are we going... Like whats the route?'' he asked in case they separated midway.

"Alright, let's go. No point in wasting daylight." Conner said, adjusting his gun. He would either a.) carry a lot of the stuff, or b.) be the group marksman and keep them safe.

"I'm ready when you guys are," Tessa said simply, feeling jittery after standing around doing nothing for so long.

"We pretty much go down around five blocks and then take a right. That's the closest one that we ain't checked out yet." He said simply with a nod. "I'll go get the bags. We go in, get the stuff I assign you to get, and get out. We'll take the Movin' Co. Truck, that'll fit us all in and gives plenty of room for all the other stuff, too." He says before dashing out of the room and going upstairs; he returns a few minutes later with several bags and hands two to each person, but only one to Conner. He also keeps two for himself.

"Alright, everyone. Tessa and Clary, I want you to focus on gettin' coats. Make sure you get everyone at least two, even if you can't fit 'em all in the bag. We need 'em for every person here and every kid we have, so be careful with that. Conner. You're gonna' be grabbin' the light stuff and coverin' us - You get the simple but essential. Underwear, socks, hats, gloves, scarfs, etcetera..." He glides his eyes across to Noah. "Noah. You get the shirts and sweaters, simple stuff once again. I'll load my bags with boots. Boots are essential for the winter, especially in New Hampshire with all this snow - Elizabeth'll get pants for everyone. All sizes for all people, durable ones, too. Jeans only, no sweatpants or anythin' like that. That reminds me, actually. I'll get PJ's and nightwear for everyone, those'll be appreciated in the winter months and at night, I'm sure." He said, glancing around everyone.

"Okay... We all ready?" (@Vaila, @32sillylight32, @Beowulf.)

Noah nodded, '' yup. '' he said softly, '' Let's get going.'' He said walking towards the door and opening it not expecting a hit of wind that made him freeze. Him who was so hot usually. '' OK! Let's make this fast.'' he mumbled walking towards the truck.

"Damn right we're going to make this fast." Conner muttered some more into the beard he was growing. Hurrying to the van, he opens the back and motions for the passengers to get in, helping where he had to.

"Alright..." He lead them all off towards the truck and lifted the back shutter door, motioning one hand off to it. "Your carriage awaits. Conner, I want you up front as you're our primary gunman for today - it ain't nothin' luxury, but you guys are gonna' have to chill in the back." He says to the rest of them; he lets them get inside before closing the shutter again, followed by going to the driver's seat and starting up the engine once Conner had gotten in; he slowly pulls away from the station and drives out of the east exit from the station. He moved slowly at first so that they didn't spin out on the snow.

Chandler was walking around upstairs, looking for a plausible place for his bed to go. So far he'd only figured out that sharing a room with Nathan and Brianna would be easier, seeing as they were his current friends and had room in the office they were in; he was going through the hallway when we bumped into Bellamy - he inspected him for a moment and gave a faint smile.

"Oh... Hey, man." He greeted. (@32sillylight32, @Vaila, @Beowulf)

Noah was first to go in and sat at the far end corner. He pulled up his knees already a bit use to the cold. He knew that they needed winter tires but wondered if there was any mechanic shops around or maybe they can find it in one of those huge shopping store like WalMart.

"Please tell me if the heater still works." Conner said before turning on the heater, which did blow out some slightly warm air. "Yes, yes it does. Now, let's just hope that there aren't any zeds there."

Tessa climbed in slowly, Clary following behind her, as she tried to think about anything other than what she was doing. She needed a distraction in her life, not something serious that would take up all her time, but something. Maybe a hobby or a job. It would have been so much easier to do either before everything went to hell but she was sure she could find something.

Bellamy blinked surprised and straightened his glasses. "Hey," he said simply. "What's up? I'm Bellamy. Bellamy Griffin."

Norman continued to drive on, going incredibly slow as he went around corners, but the tyres still spun on the snow a fair amount. He looked out the window at some of the undead that were struggling to move around. They were a lot slower, even the runners were moving slowly, and the walkers were just... They were going slower than ever.

"See that?!" He called out to everyone. "The snow's frozen the undead! They're barely movin' around out there, we might have an easy job!" He adds, focusing his eyes on the road again.

---

"Nice to meet you, man. I'm Chandler. Chandler Tillman." He smiled for a moment and looked around. "You looked kinda' lost, if you don't mind me pointin' that out." He said, chuckling under his breath in a friendly manner as he held out an open hand to him, offering a handshake. (@Vaila, @32sillylight32, @Beowulf)

"Give me a crow bar then. It'll be easy to bash in their brains when they can barely move." Conner said. The slow moving zeds would just make his job easier. And he wouldn't have to waste as much ammo, allowing them to get closer for a more accurate shot.

"Yeah, I spew all kinds of weapons, right outta' my ass." He said sarcastically to him, chuckling softly. "We don't have a crowbar with us. Your knife should work just fine. Nathan managed it so I'm sure you can." He added.
