Bound In Eternity

Grey

Dialectical Hermeticist
Three thousand years ago, five-times-five mystics, occultists, holy men, priests, blessed warriors, zealous assassins, and sorcerers assembled together aboard a ship destined for an unmapped Pacific island.

They came from every tribe and people. All brought a weapon.

On an island that strained the eye and spirit, they undertook a ritual of great power and strangeness, and died.

They awoke aboard their ship. A success; they were Immortals now. Bound to a ghostly spirit, imbued with supernatural power. Their rules were simple:

- An Immortal can be slain only by decapitation by another Immortal.

- Immortals cannot fight on sacred ground.

- If one was to survive above all others, his power would change the world.

That's right, kids - Baccano!/Geist/Highlander mashup.

Not happening soon. Wanted the idea here before it escaped me.

Oh come on...you know I climb all over oWoD games.....
Yes, but even if I for some reason felt running this in oWoD would be plot-relevant, I'd be using the conversion guide to make it nWoD system, and then apply GMC rules.

.

You had me at highlander/baccano! I would definitely be interested in such a game should you ever run it.

Plan is for 25 characters, 5 of them for players, five of each Threshold but a whole mess of Archetypes.

Scene one would be the Binding on the island, followed by a timeskip, followed by various historical periods and locations as the numbers of Immortals are whittled down across time and various personal dilemmas, vendettas, romances, and ambitions cast ripples across time to a confrontation in the present day.
