Allowing Robin to lead him, he listened to the words that left her lips. "Destiny's Pull is certainly at work here, but it's not so simple whether you're up to the task of being bonded to someone like me." It wasn't anything against the girl. It was simply a fact. Not all humans were strong enough willed to handle how strange or frightening or extremely different that the partner destiny had put before them might be from themselves. There was a chance that this girl would actually accept him. Just as much of a chance that she would scream and flee from him the moment he showed his whole self to her was there as well.
"In any case, as lovely as this little cafe of yours sounds, it seems like we have quite a lot to discuss in private. Seeing where you live sounds like the better option for today." His arm slipped away from her frame as he walked, tugging at the sleeve to try and adjust where fabric clung to his body underneath. "You asked before if all demons have different names...isn't it the same for humans? Your identities are not all uniform or else you would not have any need to introduce yourself in the first place."
He found himself a bit more loose-lipped than he was used to being while speaking to her. It wasn't trust...not exactly. But an intense desire to know more. About her, about this bond and why it made her smell so delicious to him...about why he felt as if he'd not fed in weeks even though it hadn't been even a day. His reactions were atypical and he did not know how to feel about these goings on.

As she listened to Qinu speak about having a different 'true form' she nodded. There were many stories about demons with large, frigtening forms. With curling horns and craigy skin. Sharp teeth and razor claws. She couldn't picture the smaller figure beside her being something frightening though. "Well...I'd like to see your true form some day. If you'll let me. I haven't exactly spoken to many demons before. Or if I have, they were veiled so I didn't realize."
They found themselves in a small, semi-secluded park. A few benches were set with pretty flowering bushes and plants growing nearby, giving a very gentle outdoorsy vibe. It felt like they were in their own little world. It was cozier than the parks she was used to, which usually were filled with overly affectionate couples or screaming children playing tag. "Honesty is refreshing. I can understand why you'd like kids...even if it isn't good, they don't know any better than to say what they think."
Noticing the gesture, Kaylie sat down on the bench. She scooted to the very edge in case Qinu wanted to join her there. It felt rude not to.
