This personality is , in pratice, a gary stu. The very few flaws it presents are only "If pushed to the limit", "maybe" and "if someone else is getting picked on". AKA, your character only seems to have any flaws when it is righteous to. You are being too heistant in giving the character flaws or weaknesses. Please add serious flaws to the characterKurou is a generally friendly person, and will almost always be open to conversation. He's a generally open person, with a lax personality in most conversations. He's quiet, and soft spoken, and, when asked to do things for others, can be somewhat of a push-over. Mainly because early in his life, he had not really experienced much outside of work. Sure, at times, he can be passive-aggressive, and will occasionally snark at those who annoy him, from the sideline, but will never actively seek conflict with others. He does, have a very low tolerance for those who look down on others for something they can't control. He will not attempt to do anything irrational, but his expression shows enough. He is an active thrill seeker, as well, enjoying incredibly terrifying and/or exciting things with a quiet smile. He's usually highly judgemental of himself, carefully taking his steps, but each step with as much effort as possible feeling like someone is constantly watching of his movements. He seeks to impress.
This is usually most prominent in combat situations. When faced with a task, he'll attempt to do his best, not scared of fighting head-on, but not before stopping to think. He wouldn't be described as headstrong, as he will usually analyze his situation before executing a plan to attack. However, this can be a double-edged sword at times. His analysis of situations can prove to be useful for most combat situations, but ultimately, he can overthink things. He won't always see the most simple approach to a problem. And in his attempt to try his hardest when faced with a challenge, he does not have that much room for a growth mindset. Failure hits him hard, and it can take an other's help to help him out of these downs in his psyche. He will constantly doubt himself, making it hard for others to help him.
Coupled with this, when faced with a foe he has no chance of beating, if pushed far enough, all that bottled up anger could break into a fit of rage. He couldn't stand the possibility of being beat once more. His once analytical personality flips, and makes him reckless, self-destructive, and hard to control. He unconsciously does this as a way to defend his ego; he doesn't want to appear scared and helpless with so many people depending on him, he doesn't want others to be scared for him.
Along with this, he doesn't want others to learn of him being connected to his family's history. His father's company had committed so many large scale bankrupts among the public, many of his friends from his old school started to view him as a snobbish brat, and left him, as well as him starting to be bullied around school by his peers.
You missed one dislikeDislikes: (at least 4) {S}
Kurou absolutely hates candy. Mainly due to the fact that candy is just too sweet for him, and he feels it makes him jittery. He dislikes others doing his work for him, to the point where he'll put waay to much effort into his task to show he has a handle on it, only to fail five minutes later. He dislikes those who judge others because of something they can't control, like class or race, and will make it very clear on his expression.
Ok, there is a lot of see here, so I won´t even go into the special move before I am sure I got this straight.Quirk: Vibe
Vibe is an Emitter-type quirk, that grant the user of the ability the power to generate vibrations from their body. While in use, Vibe can be used in two ways. Firstly, Vibe can be used to generate vibrations directly through the user's body. With this, the user could climb up walls, by vibrating his fingers to make small holes, allowing him to scale the wall with ease. Regular punches can be made into basically being stroke at full-force over a hundred times in only a couple of seconds. Another application allows him to cause shock-waves across the ground, or sends seismic emissions into various objects. The speed and velocity of the waves are measured in several levels of Gears. The Gear levels have varied effects depending on the level of Gear the user shifts into. So far, Kurou only has access to three Gears (excluding the IMS/B), and the others can only be accessed through sheer effort and willpower. Along with this, Vibe grants the user to abnormal heart functions, making his heart pump at the rate his Gears go.
Gear One - 5%
The base gear, and the one mostly used to save energy. Gear One wastes barely any energy while in use,and is the easiest Gear to activate. This gear will provide a simple upgrade of about 5% to regular attacks, and will allow Kurou to run faster than he can regularly, at about the same rate. However, at Gear One, and only at Gear One, his vibrations appear to last longer. So Kurou could throw an object, and the vibrations would remain in the object while away from Kurou. While in use, the user's vibrations are so minor, that they can only be seen up-close.
Gear Two - 10%
Upon activating Gear Two, the effect of using up energy can be shown somewhat more prominently. Gear Two wastes a little bit more energy than the first Gear. Upon activation, it will provide a more noticeable boost to regular attacks, and will allow Kurou to boost his speed much better as well. Along with this, Kurou can now push his more powerful vibrations into objects, allowing him to cause damage to someone by focusing while in direct contact with them, or breaking objects by doing the same. However, it would only work on smaller and more fragile objects.
Gear Four - 20%
Skipping over Gear Three, Gear Four is a prominent upgrade to Kurou's abilities. Kurou will now punch much harder, being able to split wooden blocks with some effort by sheer vibrations alone. Kurou's speed upgrades stop around Gear Four, but his strength will continue to increase. This is prominently featured in Gear Four as of now, Kurou can cause shock-waves across the ground that can disorientate foes around him. As of now, he no control over the direction of his shock-waves, so he must learn to move them in the right direction. This Gear wastes quite a bit of energy, as if just coming out of a good workout. His heart will be incredibly quickly, giving Kurou the illusion of exhaustion. Visually, Gear Four makes the vibrations somewhat visible on the body, making it kind of hard to look at Kurou's body while in vibration. Along with this, due to lack of control in how powerful of vibrations his fists expend, all further gears go up in 10% rather than just 5.
No. Just no. This is a 15 YEAR OLD BOY.Skills/talents: (anything character is especially skilled or talented at)
Kurou happens to be skilled in a couple of forms of martial arts, including Judo, Tae Kwon Doe, and Karate. He uses this with his gears to provide a fast, and flexible fighting style that isn't too aggressive, but just enough for him to deliver a powerful offense. Kurou is very perceptive, and will usually analyze his opponent before confronting them. He is quite intelligent, but prefers not to show it. He is a critical thinker, and usually chooses the logical solution over the emotional one. He also happens to have quite the willpower and dedication, always attempting to put his best effort in every single activity he participates in.
correct this typoHe also owns a deck of cars with heroes on them. (Note: All Might is the King of Hearts)
Quote: "These jaws of mine can chop through just about anything. I'd watch out if I were you."
Name: Yukari Tanaka
Nicknames: Yu-chan, Kuchi
Desired Hero Name: Steel Fang
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Chosen Extra Class: General Studies
Appearance: Yukari has very messy hair that she keeps in a pony tail. Her teeth are long and sharp, the teeth are so large she cannot fit her lips around them. Thus she wears a surgical mask to cover up the teeth. While normally wearing a blank white mask she has others with designs and other colors on them. Her casual attire shows she has almost no fashion sense. As Yukari will often be wearing outfits that simply don't mix. Like sun hats with sweatpants and a cheesy t-shirt. Due to her eyes Yukari has a natrual glare that when combined with her rough looks gives her the impression of a delinquent. View attachment 324621
(soon to be) Hero Costume: Yukari's costume is a skin tight dark blue full body suit. On her stomach region there are white zig zag lines that form a row of sharp teeth. On the palm of her hands on symbols that resemble that of a beast's paw pads. Going up from his lower back to her neck are illustrations that resemble scars like she had been in a fight with many monsters.
On her face is a mask that covers one eye with a transparent cloth. On the cloth is a picture of a much more beast like eye. The mask wraps around her upper face leaving her jaw exposed and her forehead as well. The mask goes all the way around her head leaving a place for her hair to stick out. On both hips she has holsters to hold four small chunks of metal Iin each holster. The holsters are white and resmeble cowboy hostlers like in westerns with a clamp to keep the chunks from falling out.
Personality: With Yukari knowing when enough is enough is near impossible, she's the type to not see her own success and only her failures. Not a negative person just one who pushes themselves far harder than they should. To Yukari the only rival she has is herself. Always looking for something she's not good at and better it. Typically focusing on bettering too many things at once only to not get better at any of them. A surprisingly social person it's only when people start getting close to her both physically and emotionally that she begins to distance herself.
Being very self conscious of her teeth she tends to avoid talking about them for too long. Focusing on bouncing the questions away from herself as quickly as possible. Yukari is a hero fan girl but more specifically a fan girl of heroes with quirks that make them a tad intimidating. Seeing herself in them she idolizes how hundreds cheer their names despite their appearance.
The type to assume the worst in others when they speak to her. In the back of her mind she worries if maybe they are bad mouthing her or are afraid of her. While putting up a tough front Yukari cares greatly how others view her as she is often mistaken for a delinquent. Her drive to be a hero fueled by her desire to be seen as a hero. In other words she wants to be a hero just to look cool.
Likes: The taste of metal, watching heroes on tv, having someone to talk to, others with quirks that make them look scary
Dislikes: People touching her face, someone mentioning her teeth, showing others her teeth, the taste of wood, the sight of blood
Fears: {S}
Mannerisms: Yukari will often nibble on a piece of metal.
Backstory: {S}
Relationships: Mother-Fuyuki Tanaka (Police officer)
Father-Kazuichi Tanaka (Salary man)
Quirk: Chomps- Yukari's teeth can tear through and rip apart metal like it's nothing. After she does she can swallow the metal like it was normal food or spit it out like bullets. Depending on the size of the metal she can make a certain number of bullets. A small piece is five bullets, a medium piece ten, and a large is fifteen. The bullets are equal to those you'd find in a 9mm gun. In Yukari's costume she holds four small pieces in each holster.
If Yukari doesn't have medium or large pieces on hand she can improvise using small pieces. Ex. Two small pieces make a medium piece, two medium pieces make a large piece. So if Yukari ate all four pieces in one holster she'd have the same ammo from eating a large piece. Something to note is Yukari can only hold fifteen bullets in her mouth without the problem of accidentally swallowing them all. Her range is also similar to a 9mm. The downside to her power is all of its strength lies in the chomp. If one was to hold her mouth shut she'd be unable to do anything. Also when her mouth is held shut Yukari becomes docile and incredibly timid.
Special Moves: Gunner Style:Machine gun- Yukari spits out all the metal in her mouth in rapid fire.
Items: A bag of a bunch of paper clips which she carries on her to snack on, or just chew on. Too small to be used as ammo. She also has various surgical mask she carries around in case the one she is wearing gets dirty or damaged.
Skills/talents: Shooting-Yukari is a pretty decent shot nothing amazing but not too bad either.
Eye spy-Yukari has eyes that do well to follow movements but more than wouldn't be quick enough to do anything with this.
Theme Song:
Quote: When life gives you lemons you gotta shove them down somebody’s throat til they see yellow!Name: Frank Toboggan
Nicknames: Franku, smelly belly
Hero Name: The garbage hero; Trashman
Age: 47
Gender: Male
What they will teach: General studies
Appearance: Short is something that REALLY describes Frank well, his height is exactly 5’0”, so he almost qualifies for being a midget. That however isn’t a reason for him to stop eating, as he weighs roughly 195 lbs. He may be 47, but you wouldn’t find a single gray hair on his head, what you will definitely find however, is a bald spot in the middle of his head. His eyesight is not very good these days, so he wears glasses.(Insert Danny Davito)
Personality: A cheap bastard who doesn’t want to do anything except lie down and eat some junk food. An old creep who just wants to watch women in their dressing room. Subborn old man, who lost his way – That’s everybody’s first impressions of him. Of course, he does love food, and he’s an expert of loafing around, but he has a different side to him. Underneath the fat-coated exterior lies a man who once aspired to be the number one hero. He’s dedicated and serious when the situation calls for it, and will do anything in his power so that his students act the same way. He does have one rule however: If you want it, work for it. Lessons with him may seem boring, and he may even fall asleep in the middle of them, but that way he just wants to stimulate the students and make them care for their own education. If they don’t care, then they won’t try even if he will do everything in his might. When it comes to social interactions, Frank almost always tells the truth, no matter how painful that truth may be. He is also very blunt in his delivery; he will never beat around the bush or look for pretty words to suit the situation. His actions are often very rash and caused by emotions. If he's angry, he'll just pump himself up to be DOUBLE angry. This demeanor of his, is the main cause of him not having any real friends. That doesn’t really bother him though, as he’s mainly interested in women. Of course, because of both his poor social skills and his unhealthy posture, he never succeeds in any of his love conquests.
Likes: Junk food, motivated people, women, TV
Dislikes: Healthy food, being called fat, unmotivated people, exercise.
Fears: Being forgotten, raising a generation wrong.
Mannerisms: Likes to move his hands a lot when talking.
Relationships:Haka Shikikan, the Principal – Frank always compliments him and butters him up with a hope that he’ll raise his pay or give him a bonus. That however, never happened.
Kojo Nasu, The school’s florist and Nurse – He tries his best to seduce her… to no avail.
Grave digger – Prefers to stay away from him.
Backstory: His story starts in a small city in the USA. His parents were both Americans, but because of some unexpected troubles, they had to move to Japan when he was still a very young boy. It was also around that time when his quirk started to manifest, but without the ability to restrain it, he’d just spoil all the food in the kitchen or in school’s cafeteria. It even got to a point at which he was banned from entering the school during lunch hours. Even at young age he was a pretty ‘fluffy’ kid, so that combined with his constant smell, gave him a bad reputation and kids started calling him ‘Smelly Belly”. Needless to say, his grade school and middle school years were a living nightmare. Everything changed when he entered high school. People stopped bullying him and instead some even tried to befriend him. High school was also a period when he met his idol: Rubber hero – Bubblegum. He was extremely inspired by how seemingly useless quirk could be mastered to a degree of becoming not only a pro hero, but a bloody good one at that. After that, Frank devoted all of his free time discovering the many uses of his quirk that he hated for such a long time. His greatest flaw became his weapon, and he himself became a man he always wanted to be: A Pro Hero. During his long hero career he met many famous heroes, but he himself has never become anything close to a public figure. In spite of that, he still tries his best to become a well known hero, or at least training the next generetion of great heroes.
Reason for becoming a teacher: Every time he sees a kid, he thinks about himself when he was young and hopeless. Frank wants to give all the aspiring heroes hope, and teach them about their possibilities.
Notable Feats as a hero:
- Single-handedly rescued almost all the victims from the ruins of a skyscraper, dismantling almost all the leftover rubble. (He had to spend a month in a hospital because of that.)
- Destroyed countless villainous weapons, tools and even bases.
Helped the school by: Disposing of all the leftover trash, food tester, helps to weed out the garden.
- Accidentally caught a big mafia leader, because the mobster started calling him a fatty.
Hero Style: He mostly does rescue work, saving people from crumbling buildings etc. but he’s known for his great villain disarming abilities. His main tactic is destroying the cover of an enemy and the proceeding to a close combat fight, or more frequently: leaves the rest of the job to a hero that’s better trained in fighting.
Quirk: Rapid decay – Everything he touches with his bare skin will start decomposing/rotting/going bad etc. Only work if he wants to. It doesn’t only apply to organic substances, as there are plenty of uses for it. Some examples:
- Making metal rust
- Turning juice to alcohol
- Making wood old and easily breakable
The list goes on, as he often thinks about something in a fly, but there are some things that he cannot use his quirk on: Animals(Humans included), Gemstones, Plastic, rubber, glass, ceramics and things that are already spoiled.
- Making rocks and concrete weathered to the point of crumbling and turning to dust.
The backlash of this power is that he becomes smellier every time he uses it, he also becomes physically tired. His upper limit right now would be destroying a medium-sized building, after that he loses conciousness and needs at least a day to regain it. A little “side effect” to this quirk is that he can eat spoiled food without any consequences.
Special Moves: Decaying gas – He inhales a huge amount of air into his lungs and exhales a green gas. This gas is extremely toxic (not lethal) and smelly. The gas works like a touch of his skin, so it decays everything it comes in contact with. His limit is around 3 times a day.
Ranged Rot – Works exactly like his quirk, but he only has to touch the thing that’s touching his target. So even touching the ground will work. The bigger the distance and the target, the more tiring the move and it takes more time for Frank to concentrate on the target.
Reverse spoil – Very experimental skill that is rarely used, because it almost always ends in long and painful stomachaches. Upon touching, spoiled product is good for consumption/ usage again. It only works with little things, like moldy bread, or rusty knife.
Items: His tablet, 2 pairs of glasses, hero costume.
Skills/talents: His pallet is exceptionally good at recognizing fast food brands.
how about now? (had to go to work so i miss alot of stuff.)Ok, these numbers are way of the charts. Basically, think of it like this, if you can permanently injure someone with an ability at it´s normal function, it´s not gonna pass. And this power as it is goes waaaaaaay beyond that. It´s overpowered in every regard and even if you say your character can´t properly control it at this point, this is just too much.
The rest of character is, while far from ideal in my opinion, not bad.
Some suggestions on how to fix this while keeping what I think is your core idea, would be to do one of the following:
1. Create a condition to use the ability an a drawback to it´s usage. It´s a bit ripping off deku, but it can work to an extent.
2. Alter the power so as to specifically target this strength at objects. Make it cause a resonance that doesn´t affect organic bodies or stuff like that. This way you don´t run the same risks of killing someone with this as you normally would, making the ability several layers more likely to pass.
In either option though, this still needs heavy nerfing. In particular that speed. Fast enough to catch a bullet is fast enough to catch EVERYTHING.
Sorry if you feel that way xd I wanted to take Danny Devito's character from "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" and make him into a full fledged hero. Sorry if it's too goofy to work. I can just delete it if you want to.I can´t help but feel I´m being trolled right now...
The quirk is in the realm of acceptable now, but I still need the concrete limits.Quirk: Vibe

Firstly, Vibe can be used to generate vibrations directly through the user's body. However, it would only work on smaller and more fragile objects.
Gear Four
Skipping over Gear Three, Gear Four is a prominent upgrade to Kurou's abilities. Kurou will now punch much harder, being able to split wooden blocks with some effort by sheer vibrations alone. This is prominently featured in Gear Four as of now, Kurou can cause shock-waves across the ground that can disorientate foes around him. However, his shockwaves can only be initiated when in contact directly with the floor. Usually when activating one, he'll have to restart his Gears, as it disrupts the rest of his body. Kurou notes that he finds it very hard to breathe while Gear Four has been activated, as the vibrations spread across a large portion of his chest area.
Special Move:
Infinite Mass Strike / BurstThe strongest attack in Kurou's arsenal, the Infinite Mass Punch or The Infinite Mass Burst is an incredibly devastating attack, that is very dangerous to both Kurou and his opponents as well as the surrounding civilians who are unlucky to be within the radius of the punch. Upon activation, Kurou will put all of his vibrations into his arm, causing intense seismic emissions from his fist so fast, his fists goes nearly transparent from how quickly it is moving. In doing so, Kurou has technically put his hand into Gear Seven. His fists now move at a incredibly powerful 50% increase. Kurou will then proceed to run up to his opponent and attempt to punch him. Although his fist could possibly level a floor of a building, Kurou will move at his regular speed, giving him two options. He could either activate it close up, and send the enemy flying away, or he could release the seismic emission all at once in all directions. Either way, the waves send cracks and destroy the environment around him, the waves carrying into the air and cracking windows all around. Kurou will almost never suggest to use his ability unless if convinced that it is the absolute best thing to solve the situation at hand. After usage, Kurou will feel nauseous, and will most likely throw-up. Coupled with this, he will only have access to Gear One, if he can move at all. The Burst portion of the Infinite Mass Attack is also incredibly dangerous, as if used, could cause serious heart damage to Kurou if left unchecked. Remeber, if you manage to convince him to use it, once the Infinite Mass has been activated, it will not, and I repeat, will not de-activate until it is used.
The quirk is in the realm of acceptable now, but I still need the concrete limits.
The special move on the other hand is utterly rejected. At it´s core it´s a super destructive move focused on doing something I am allowing on any quirk: massive or permanent damage. So it´s not gonna pass.
so you were being serious... oh well...Sorry if you feel that way xd I wanted to take Danny Devito's character from "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" and make him into a full fledged hero. Sorry if it's too goofy to work. I can just delete it if you want to.
this type of pic is not permitted as per the instructions in the CS
the quirk and all attached special abilities are rejected. No you do not. The special move in the CS is only there in case the student happened to have come up with one before joining the highschoolDo I necessarily need a special move?
No sweat. I understand that completely. It was a little goof from my part anyway xd It was worth a try at least.Sorry. But a rule´s a rule, for you, for strangers, and for me too.
It´s alright, it happens. Good luck in those RPs!However, I think unfortunately I'm probably not able to join the RP. Not because I don't want to, but because I have Rps outside of site.. I'm not sure I can join fully. I'm sorry if I had you spend to much time waiting for me, but I don't think I can join.
is this the upper limit of what he can do right now?Physical Enhancements enables Kuma to have superhuman strength at destructive levels, increased agility, endurance and superhuman speed. It enable him to thrown around 2 tonnes with some difficult at the moment, much higher pain tolerance compared to normal humans, faster reaction time/speed than the average human and sprinting at speeds of 80 mph.
yes and sorry i'm late.is this the upper limit of what he can do right now?
Then it´s still too much. 1% is lifting tons sprinting at near cheetah speeds and enhanced reflexes on top of all that? No, I´m sorry, but it´s not passing...yes and sorry i'm late.
