Welcome to Baku No Hero Academia

Introduction: So this is going to be a RP with some standards. I say that meaning I am putting some rules to this to make sure effort in the characters, writing , and plot of this are upheld. While fun is the ultimate goal, things like one liners and super powerful characters are are party poopers.

Rules:
1. No God Modding
2. We won't have a strict word-count, but keep to a minimum of 100 words. Give your partner something to work with! 400 word posts can be brilliant, and are always better than 1200 word posts that contain 1000 words describing a shoe.
3. One power per character
4. Characters must have weaknesses that match their strengths.
5. No meta-gaming. You can’t use OOC knowledge in IC posts.

History: This is a brief description of the world we will be working in. I am keeping it simple in case people want in, but have never seen the Anime. This world takes place in an Alternate Universe where the heroes and villains of the Anime do not exist. In this world 80% of the human population have gifts known as Quirks. These powers can range from nitro sweat that causes explosions to you were born with a tail and can't do anything about it. For the people with strong, or useful U.A. High School, a school to train the hardest working students to become heroes and this is their story. In this world there are also those who don't make it through the school or don't make it in and they choose a less righteous path to that of villains. Even more there are those who go through the school to become heroes for selfish and unselfish reasons.


Application: If you choose to join, please post a profile here in a thread here of the character you will be using. I won't go approving apps, but make your character fair and balanced. If your character is OP I will step in at that point. In the end making someone fun and fun for others. Positions for students, villains, and teachers are open.

Name: Kazuma Tsukuya
Nickname: He goes by 'Kaze'.
Hero Name: Maelstrom

Appearance: Kaze's appearance has often given him the title of 'bad boy', or 'delinquent'...and, to be fair, he hasn't done much to dissuade these accusations. Messy, raven-colored hair, silky and soft to the touch, covers his head in an orderly, chaotic mess, while sharp, thin eyebrows frame a narrow blue gaze. His face is what one could consider 'roguishly handsome', with a sharp jawline and thin nose. He stands tall - close to six feet, actually - with a lean and athletic build that showcases the struggles he went through to get to where he is today. When forced to wear the uniform, however, he ties the tie loosely around his collar, leaves the top couple buttons undone, and rolls up the sleeves. That annoying blazer is never anywhere to be seen. Staples in his appearance are the wind-resistant goggles he always keeps thrown over his head, and the bandages that he keeps wrapped around his hands and arms. No one really questions either accessory, which he prefers. Honestly, the bandages just cover training scars that he doesn't really like showing off, and he has a large assortment of different colored goggles that he collects as a hobby. Plus, they help whenever he's doing some hardcore training with his Quirk. Dry eye isn't a fun thing to deal with.

Quirk: Winds of Freedom - A rather versatile 'emitter' type quirk. Winds of Freedom is centered around Kaze's 'core'. Inside of him, his 'core' is chained and shackled, a subconscious 'limiter' that Kaze gave himself as a child, after an accident with his Quirk ended with one of his best friends being killed. The more that Kaze 'unchains' himself over time, the more powerful his Quirk becomes. As the years went by, and he trained his quirk, Kaze has been able to naturally loosen the 'chain' bit by bit, allowing him to control more and more of his power. Unchaining himself forcibly, and not naturally and through training, causes him immense pain, but also gives him large, temporary boosts in his power. In layman's terms, Kaze has the ability to generate and manipulate silver wind - yes, powerful and visible wind that's a vibrant silver in color. The wind functions as regular wind for the most part, only stronger and completely controlled by Kaze himself. The wind could be as sharp or as forceful as he could make it with his present control and power.

Generally, the wind is used as an amplifier/supplement for close-quarter combat, or for mid to long range barrages of attacks. He has developed different techniques with his Quirk, and enjoys announcing it just before hitting his opponent for a bit of dramatic flair. His fighting style is completely unpredictable, just like him - utilizing blinding speed, dodges, and acrobatic stunts that leaves people afraid of his agility and flexibility. He almost fights like some sort of winged predator, constantly shifting stances and ways of attack.

Personality: Will be added here. This is just a placeholder. Traits - Cool-headed, independent, free-spirited, witty and sarcastic. Fierce in battle and life, and just as loyal.

Wouldn't it be better to separate CS and OOC chat, that way people don't have to trudge through pages upon pages of OOC to find a character sheet?

Appearance: Jin stands at about 5’8 with reddish brown hair. He has a lean and muscular build as would be expected as one who trains in martial arts and seeks to become a hero. The most consistent thing about his appearance is that he always wears his hat and sunglasses. Sometimes he will randomly decide to go without the hat but the sunglasses are only ever taken off when he is sleeping or showering. If anyone manages to get a peek at his eyes they will notice that they are a weird mixture of grey and gold thanks to his quirk.

Quirk: Current Sight: Current sight is a mutant type quirk that allows him to see the electrical flow of currents no matter how big or small they are. The trade of is that he can’t see anything else making him pretty much blind. As long as the electricity flows through it he can see an object/persons movement, size, shape, and if he is focusing hard enough he can read the signal and let his body react to what he know is about to happen This also grants him vision of their weak points where the flow goes through vital points in the persons/objects body.

Strengths: Enhanced hearing, sense of smell, sense to taste, and sense of touch due to being blind. Jin is also trained in a unique martial art style that focuses on the other four senses rather than sight. The style also works well with his quirks as he can see the areas he needs to target to maximize his attacks power.

Weakness: When it comes to objects with no electrical flow he is unable to see them.

Personality: Jin is the type of person who knows fully well how to use his handicap to his advantage he does not hesitate to do so. However, he doesn’t do it to get pity from people, instead he does it to get people to lower his guard around him so that they will be easier to catch them off guard. Besides that, he is normally easy going and gives off the impersonation of a slacker but in reality, he is a hard worker who is constantly doing the best he can to achieve his dream. His dream is to become a hero so that he can repay his family for everything they have done to support him, along with prove to the world that even he can become a top hero.

History: Jin’s birth was a difficult one for his mother and he ended up being born premature. Thanks to being born prematurely he was not supposed to live very long and his parents who had already given up hope for him started to grieve as the doctors did their best to keep him alive. Against the odds Jin pulled through but there was only one problem, he was blind. Having already received the miracle for his survival his parents and siblings swore they would do everything in their power to support him and give him a good life.

Even though he was born pre-maturely he grew strong and healthy, he even was in rolled in the pre-education system. Of course, his education was obviously different than the other kids, learning brail instead of normal writing. He would always have a teacher or student helper with him at all times along with his walking stick at all times to make sure he could get around alright, for everyone else it would seem weird but for him it was normal. It was on one of these weird normal days that his quirk emerged.

One day as he was sitting on the ground practicing his brail he blinked out of instinct and the student helper he had exclaimed loudly. Having his attention caught Jin looked up only to realize that he could see something. An intricate design of flowing energy outlined what he would later find out was the kids nervous center network. Every tiny electrical signal that was being sent through the kid’s body was visible to Jin. With a wide grin he turned to the nearest teacher and exclaimed loudly that he could see something, after his statement he proceeded to tell the teacher about the weird flowy line things he was seeing.

The doctors would later explain to his parents what his quirk was and how it had taken away his normal sight to grant him this. Afterword’s he slowly began to adapt to his ability. It took a few years but he learned how to combine his sight with his other senses to allow him to walk around in places he was or even wasn’t familiar with by himself, eventually he even got to ditch the walking stick.

When he entered middle school, he made his desire to be a hero known to his parents who at first was skeptical of his goal but they had sworn to help him in any way they could. So, they got him a martial arts instructor who was able to work with Jin and his quirk. Jin’s senses sharpened and he learned how to use his quirk better. Since he is unable to watch tv or play video games due to his quirk he would train whenever he had free time and wasn’t hanging out with his friends. His siblings even volunteered to help him with training and by his second year in middle school he was able to beat any of his siblings in hand to hand combat.

As his third year of middle school started coming to a close the time for him to take the first big step in achieving his dream arrived, The UA entrance exam. The robots they had to fight in the Entrance exam were a piece of cake, after all he could see every one of their weak points and they were in no way hard to hear or sense. He managed to rack up enough Villain and rescue points to ensure his entrance into the school. Step one of his dream was complete. Now he just needed to keep moving forward.

Quirk: Mouth Cannon - Can launch between a hooked steel harpoon or clamp attached to a long metal wire out of his mouth
Strengths: He can think quick when it comes to diffusing villain attacks or disasters and keeping people safe. His wire can extend a mile from his mouth before depleting in length. The wire has incredible strength so it won't snap under high tension nor can it be severely damaged easily from physical attacks. The harpoon/clamp can be launched with incredible force and precision at high speeds so the harpoon will be able to puncture most physical surfaces and stay in place as long the surface it punctures remains stable. He also gains incredible strength once a projectile is launch so he won't be pulled very easily, unless the target resisting is a great deal stronger.
Weakness: He can only launch either the harpoon or the clamp at a time. Once he launches a projectile and it connects with something, he becomes much slower in that spot. If he misses a shot or if the harpoon/clamp disconnects for any reason, he has to wait for the cable to be reeled back in, which can take a while if it was stretched out over a long distance. When not using his harpoon, he has average human abilities and isn't very clever. If his cable ever does take severe damage, he will feel very sick and unable to use his harpoon for hours. If his cable does snap, he would faint and be terribly ill until it's reattached.
Appearence: Has a fairly fit build and a foot taller than most people. Has no hair on his head and his head is shaped like an anvil; pointed end being the front of his face.
History: Lloyd lived a simple life with his family as construction workers. He enjoyed helping out, so that was good enough for him. Though when an accident occurred on site, he used his Quirk without a hero license, getting him in trouble despite the help he was trying to offer. So he decided to be a hero so he can help people whenever he wants.

He has medium black hair that lays flat and wears a full mask with a painted smile and purple tribal symbols around the eyes. He contanstanly wears black. Under the mask he has lifeless brown eyes and a very plain face. If he had charm or a smiled, he might be considered attractive, but his emotionless demeanor makes him less appealing.

Quirks: Vibration- His Quirk is that he can emit shock waves and vibrations from his pores. His waves can me single and powerful like a force blast or short and repetitive causing the vibration effect. He can use this to shatter material things by touching it or sending the waves out through the air. The longer the waves vibrate the stronger it gets earning him the name Rechtor for his Earthquake like Quirk. Given enough time he can bring down a building or if his emotions become unstable his quirk does too. While it makes it more powerful when he is unstable it is also very dangerous to himself. The weakness to his quirk is time and elemental quirks like air/ fire due to them not being solid. While his quirk is powerful out the gate, it requires time to build up and and spread out. If he over exerts himself he can do more damage to himself so he must use it sparingly.

History: Hakora use to be a happy child. He never knew his father, but his mother was a very caring woman. She was the light of his life and was there when he began developing his quirk. As it developed he proved very skilled with it, but he learned it's power was died to emotion as well. One day he became upset with his mother who would not let him go to a concert he lost control causing the whole hose to shack and the foundation was effected causing the house to come down on them. Hakora was saved by heroes, but his mother died that day. He blames himself, but even the heroes.

While this was not his downfall, it played into it. He was accepted into UA and excelled in his classes, making him a star student. The principal at the time was actually the hero who saved him and became his mentor. His mentor's quirk was super strength, but Hakora learned to over power him. While in school his hero name was Shockwave. As he grew, so did his power and popularity. In competitions he normal came in first or second to a fire elemental. As with all students, graduation time came and that was where it all changed.

His diploma was presented by his mentor, who was actually a prideful man who viewed power as important. When Hakora came to grab his diploma, his mentor said only loud enough, "Congratulations, you have made me proud. I do not regret for a second saving you over your mother." Hakora froze there, his smile fading as he held ond half of his diploma, "You....chose me....you could have saved her?" "Of course my boy, we only had time to save one and you had more potential. A shame of her loss though....." More was said, but Hakora began to lose control and black out. He overpowered his mentor and destroyed him leaving nothing left and then turned on the very room. Many will killed in Hakora's rage. His rage caused shockwaves to surge through the building causing a 7.9 on the Rechtor scale. The teachers stepped in and tried to stop Hakora, but he escaped.

With his whole world shattered, he vowed to gain his revenge and destroy the school and the heroes for the death of his mother. Since that day, 5 years ago he has made a few attacks and his name changed from Shockwave, to Rechtor in honor of the day of his graduation and first attack,

Appearance:
5'6", 120lbs. Light mousy brown hair, round dark brown eyes.

Quirk:
PHASING - Natsuko can cause herself, or cause any physical items she touches, to become intangible, enabling herself and physical objects to phase through other physical objects and even electric barriers. She does this by moving atoms between and around other atoms, letting them pass by each other and through each other.

Strengths:
She can move through any solid mass and even electric barriers. She make any type of object/physical material intangible, within reasonable size, and even other living organisms. She can chose to make only parts of herself or other objects intangible. She can cause items to go right through her without damage (bullets, blades, etc.) within her own reaction time.

Weakness:
She can't breath when moving through objects, so she can only phrase through objects/solid barriers as long as she can hold her breath, and as long as her strength holds up. She also can only make objects of reasonable size intangible, and it's even harder for her to be able to phase other living organisms. If she gets stuck while phasing through something and re-materalizes, well, that wouldn't be pretty. She also needs to be physically touching whatever she is making intangible. Also, the more she uses her quirk, the more it tires her out.

Personality:
When in training, Natsuko is cooperative, tough, level-headed, and very resourceful. However, outside of class she tends to be fidgety, quiet, and somewhat awkward. She isn't good at stepping outside of her comfort zone when not preparing to be a hero. She finds it hard to carry the confidence and charisma she has in training out into her everyday life. However, do not mistake her quietness for meekness or timidness. If pushed, Natsuko will come out of her shell to put someone in their place. She won't be taken advantage of or made fun of.

History:
Natsuko is the youngest of her siblings, third in line after an older brother (24) and an older sister (20).
Everyone in her family, besides her father, has a quirk. However, no adult in her family uses their quirks for anything other than day-to-day convenience. Her brother works an office job, her sister is a stay-at-home mother, and her mother works at flower shop where she puts her water materialization quirk to good use. Natsuko, however, has always wanted to do something more with her quirk.

Natsuko's quirk came late compared to most and was discovered completely on accident. She had begun to worry that she'd be like her quirkless father, until one day when she tripped on the second floor of her house and fell straight through only to land on the ground floor.
Ever since then, her phasing ability has grown and become more sophisticated as she has developed her skills and learned her weaknesses.

As soon as she was able to, she applied to U.A. and to her surprise she was accepted.
She wants to become a hero and put her quirk to good use, not just personal use.

Quirk: Gas Breath - His mouth is replaced a bronze plate with exhaust grills that can be used to expel a variety of gaseous substances. Including hot steam, burning smoke, noxious gasses, and any other substances he can think of.
Strengths: Faceplate is nigh invincible against physical attacks. Any gas he releases only dissipates depending on how much he releases. If he releases a large amount, it will permeate in the air for longer. He can control how hard he pushes out the gas, as in forcing it out hard that it would create a lot of pressure against up close people and objects or just gently emitting it. He can also control the temperature of an any gas he releases, like making it scalding hot or freezing cold.
Weakness: He is physically below average due to his weight. He moves very slowly and is not very athletic. He doesn't have much strength and can get hurt easily. He can't run very fast and will run out of breath very fast. He can expel a lot of gas all at once, but it can put a strain on him if he overuses his power. His faceplate can be ripped off forcefully, leading him to be unable to control his gas expulsion and will fall unconscious after a few minutes.
Appearance: A tall but obese man, proportions clearly unhealthy. His skin is a light tan and has medium brown messy hair, usually covered buy a black snowcap. He has no mouth, but has a metal grilled-faceplate where he speaks through and dispels his gas. He usually wears jeans and a navy blue sweatshirt over a white t-shirt.
History: Otto admired heroes as a kid, so he wanted to be like one as he grew up. However, his attempts to help people out were always met with annoyance or anger. He found himself getting in the way most of the time than actually helping. This led to him being picked on by people with more capable powers all the time. One day, he got fed up with the bullying and attacked his abusers with his powers, finding satisfaction in the power he could wield over them. He ran away after finding out he seriously hospitalized them and went on to live his own life experimenting with his powers on anyone to see how he could abuse his ability. Eventually he decided to look for an organization of supervillains he wanted to join, so he can take on bigger and better hauls.

Appearance: Shorter than average height, not very intimidating look to her, looks younger than she really is. Light tan colored skin with freckles on her nose and cheeks and bright sky blue eyes. Long wavy dark chocolate hair that curls at the end. Her hair is always up in a ponytail with a large blue bow or in braids.

Quirk: Bubble Manipulation: A simple and not very showy quirk but a very useful if you know how to use it. The ability to create, shape and manipulate movement and strength of bubbles. Though she is not able to create the bubbles from thin air, she does need a substance. Plain water or air is more challenging for her, due to the water being too dense and the air being too thin. Making the creation of the shell of the bubble more difficult and strenuous. Soap water, soap or foam is a quick and simple substance for her to create her bubbles. (Always carries around bottles of soapy water with her).

She has had a couple of years to work on her quirk, but not as much as others in her family, being a late bloomer. Though the movement of bubbles and the quantity of small bubbles is the forte of her quirk. She is always trying to think of ideas of how to incorporate her everyday life with her bubbles mainly using them to transport tiny items around her home or using it as a cushion. Extreme heat can easily vaporize her bubbles, even very hot days becomes a toll when using her quirk. She can use her bubbles as a shield when enlarging them to fit different numbers of people and its strength. Though shields and the size of a bubble are a great use of her energy and they tend to leave her drain. This would cause her to feel sick through up, get a migraine or at the worst collapse and pass out (ranging from a few hours to days at the amount use of her quirk).

Skills: A great tree climber (enjoys heights), sketching and baking.

Personality: Friendly, bubbly, nurturing and kind. Quiet by nature, she mainly keeps to herself, observing those around her. Though she does love to be around others and can be talkative at times (once she is used to you or mainly if a theme she is passionate about pops up). She is not the most strongest or the most powerful as others out there, but that will never stop her from trying her best to accomplish what she set her mind too and help those around her. She might seem a bit childish (the way she acts, dresses and the items she loves), but she is determined, quite knowledgeable and knows when to be serious.

History: Elena had a great and pretty normal childhood. With loving parents who tried their best to give their children a wonderful and comfortable life. Elena enjoyed every moment of her childhood among her four older brothers. Unlike her older brother’s she was a very late bloomer when it came to her discovering her quirk. Though when her quirk emerged, her desire to become a hero also grew. Wanting to follow in her mother’s footsteps as well as her third oldest brother, she worked hard in developing her quirk every chance she had. Even though she enjoys helping out her father in his shop, bringing happiness to their customers with her baking. She longs to make a difference in the world and helping to save and protect those in need.

Lion's Eye Ability
- A mutant type quirk that allows Erik to duplicte almost any physical act he sees after seeing it done by someone else only once. Red Lion can use this ability to master complex gymnastics routines and play difficult pieces of music. While this ability is active, Erik's eyes take on the resemblance of a lion's, hence the name.


Strengths:
~ Charisma - Erik has the Charisma of a Cult of Personality figure. Which makes him especially more dangerous than the typical villain.
~Tracking & Survival - Erik's abilities as both a tracker and survivalist are without peer, even without use of his enhancements.
~ Gifted Intellect - Despite only been sporadically educated in his early upbringing, he is nonetheless a very cunning, capable individual who learned advanced subjects through individual pursuit rather than traditional "socialized" education. His knowledge base is equivalent to that of a Rhodes scholar. In particular, Erik is well-versed in Arcane and Ancient knowledge.
~ Accomplished Writer - Erik has published several best-selling novels under the pseudonym C.J. Priest, his subjects range from political science, philosophy, economics, history, military/martial culture, religion/spirituality, metaphysics, psychology and human sexuality.
~ Connections - Erik has many supporters, some of whom occupy positions in government,military, law enforcement, entertainment, and other areas you wouldn't otherwise expect.

Weakness:
Extended use of his quirk does produce some unintended visibility problems for Erik. Erik's past as a former villain is also an issue for him, many in the hero community are unwilling to co-operate with someone with a background as troubled as Erik.

History:
Erik is somewhat complicated figure, he is a man who would be Warlord, a revolutionary who rose to power to serve the underprivileged masses, those who are most prone to being victims to the perpetual struggle of governments and corporations. He is sincere in his mission, he wants to liberate all people through the elimination of debt and exploitative systems, replacing the federal reserve with a crypto-backed equity system favoring the meek and disadvantaged, a system that rewards acts of altruism. As long as greed reigns, the world cannot be free. He understands the nature in which the world operates. He is very uncorrupted in his views. While the world thinks of power in terms of caped supernatural threats, he is more grounded in the political "realistic" nature of power.

It can argued in some ways that what he's trying to achieve, his endgoal is heroic. Out of costume, Erik's public persona is that of an influential writer, an affable adventurist, a leader and spokesman for the marginalized, in costume, he becomes one of the most feared men in the world, a terror that threatens to undermine the worlds governments.

It should be noted that Erik himself is not known by many, he's more or a less a shadow operating in a world that bears his influence without knowing he exists or who he is, he's managed to cultivate a deep following for his cause on social media and through hollywood and other institutions, will maintaining complete anonymity.

Name: Jeanne Kurasaki

Hero Name: The Puppeteer Hero: Madame Manipuler

Age: 33

Gender: Female

Role: Teacher and Pro-hero

Quirk: Puppeteer: Jeanne is able to take control or animate objects by extending her finger nails like wires and having them hook on to the object she is controlling. From then the object becomes a puppet following Jeanne’s verbal instructions as well movements of her fingers. Jeanne is also able to use this power on humans and animals as well but she can only do it for ten seconds at a time.

The quirk also allows her finger nails to regrow in a matter of seconds if they are broken but they can only be regrown a certain number of times per day before she starts suffering from physical repercussions such as bleeding fingers and in extreme cases muscle or nerve damage. Jeanne must stay within 50 feet of the target she is controlling at all times, any farther than 50 feet or her current set of nails will break from her hand forcing her to grow more and the object she was controlling to no longer be under her control.

Personality: Jeanne is usually friendly but also has a healthy amount of sarcasm mixed in with her friendliness. She does her best to match her student’s energy when she is teaching. When she gets called out to the field for hero work she doesn’t strive to be the one who stands out the most, instead she prefers to finish the mission as quick and efficiently as possible so that collateral damage and possible injuries to civilians is kept at a minimum. She rarely gets mad but one sure fire way to get her really angry really fast is to talk about her older brother in a bad light when she is within earshot. You can even comment on how she looks more like a villain the she does a hero but just don't mention her brother or bad things will happen.

History: Jeanne was born to the youngest child of the Kurasaki family. Her father was a Japanese lawyer and her mother was a French business woman. When she was born her older brother was a second year in UA’S hero program. Growing up with a soon to be hero in the family Jeanne wanted to be just like her older brother and couldn’t wait for her quirk to manifest so she could be one step closer to being like her brother. However, that was until she and others witnessed the darker side of her abilities. At first her ability was one that the other kids found cool, being able to control objects was with your finger nails did look pretty cool and plus the quirk counselors she was assigned to thought she could only control objects, that was until several years later when the dark side of her quirk came forth.

Three years after her quirk manifested her brother was involved in an incident and arrested for miss use of his quirk. He lost his hero license, was branded a villain, and taken to jail. Jeanne was seven at the time and the news of her brother’s imprisonment was the talk of town as well as her school. That day a group of kids who didn’t necessarily like her decided to tease her about her brother and Jeanne did something that only rarely happened, she lost her temper. She still doesn’t remember how or why she had the idea to use her quirk on those classmates but she unleashed her nails on two of the bullies for the ten second time limit. She doesn’t remember what she made them do, all she remembers is 10 seconds of rage, then blackness, and waking up to her disappointed parents telling her she was suspended from the school for a few weeks.

After that incident she would spend her suspension in extra counseling as they reidentified what her quirk was and what it could do. This was also the point in time where she decided she would become a hero to restore the families good name and so that memory of her older brother’s hero’s days wouldn’t die in vain. She also swore that She wouldn’t go see her older brother in prison until the day she became a Pro-Hero.

At the end of her Middle school days she managed to make it into UA. Getting in was troublesome do to the Kurasaki name being tarnished by her brother’s deeds but she still managed to place high enough on the test and was allowed entrance under close supervision. In her time at UA she managed to erase the Stigma around the Kurasaki name as well as learn the skills needed to be a Pro-Hero. In Her second year at UA she even managed to take second place at the Sports festival which earned the Eye of the UA teaching staff. During her third year she managed to earn herself a spot as a side kick at the agency of the 13th ranked hero as well as learned to control her quirk enough to allow her to control humans and animals with out blacking out. There she would serve as a side kick for a few years before managing to become a hero of her own.

In her early Pro-Hero days, she assisted with mostly the dismantling of gangs and crime organizations. She would assist in the occasional rescue operation, and she would stop any villains that would come into the Puppeteer Hero’s territory. Eventually she was offered a teaching job at UA due to a recommendation by the Hero she Side kicked for which she gratefully accepted. That was two years ago so now she is entering her third year of teaching at UA.

Quirk: Oni Physiology. This quirk grants Qiu both the appearance and the abilities of an oni. This includes superhuman strength and durability as well as sharp claws and teeth.
Equipment: A kanabō and a bottle of sake.
Strengths: Enhanced strength and durability.
Weakness: Thanks to her quirk, Qiu have an deathly allergy to soy beans and are unable to even touch them without feeling pain. If her horns are broken, she'll lose the strength and durability that her quirk grants her until after they regrow (which is typically after a day or two). Furthermore, strategy isn't exactly her strong suit so she tends to just rush into things without thinking.

History: For as long as Qiu can remember, she wanted to be a pro-hero. Not because of some noble goal to help the less fortunate or anything, but because it seemed like it'd be a fun job. Sadly, she was unable to get into any of the hero schools. instead, she choose to do the next best thing and began an increadibly short lived career as a vigilante which sadly came to a stop when she wound up getting arrested. As a result, she got fired from her job and had no choice but to turn to a life of crime in order to pay the bills.

Strengths:
-Thanks to her prosthetic arms, she can carry any weight given by the attracted objects.
-Another feat by her arms is the added strength of her non-quirk attacks. Basically, she can punch a hole on a wall.
-Electricity can be added t the attracted metal, resulting in shockingly more damaging attacks.

Weakness:
-Her arms are detachable.
-Her arms can conduct electricity so long as there are objects that cover it. If it, she'll get shocked.
-She is diagnosed with PTSD after a traumatizing event.

History:
Amy was born to a family of pro-heroes, and is supposed to be next in line with them. She wanted to be one, but then tragedy befell on her. At the age of 13, upon arriving home from school, she saw her parents murdered by a villain, who seems to hold a grudge on them. The killer saw Amy and goes on to kill her. As she is still young at that time, Amy used her quirk to gather as many objects as possible and have them attached to her arms. In the end, Amy have won the fight, but at a very cost; due to the pressure and weight of the objects, they have seemingly crushed her arms. She is left orphaned with no one else to turn to until someone approaches her and offers her a place to stay, free education, and a set of prosthetic arms. Amy humbly accepts this, and in the following years up until now, to uphold her late family's line of duty, she takes upon herself to train to become a hero, and in the process, applied in U.A.

A few years later however, the villain that Amy though she had defeated has survived and is now making preparations for his revenge against her.

Bone Manipulation
A very powerful quirk for both offense and defense, bone manipulation allows the users to manipulate the bones of their body into any way they choose - along with adding mass, volume, etc. There are multiple ways to use this quirk, such as creating bone weapons protruding from the arms, coating themselves in a set of bone armor, or exerting the bones from their body as a projectile. He can also manipulate the hardness of his bones as well, making them incredibly soft or incredibly hard at will. If he so chooses, he could create a bone mask covering his face to hide his identity. Now, onto the negative effects of his quirk. He needs to maintain a calcium intake to expand his bone structure and make them harder than usual, otherwise, what he can do is absolutely minimal. Depending on how much he attempts to expand his bone structure, it can be incredibly tiring for him if he does not take time to do it. As in, he could theoretically instantly create a suit of bone armor around him, but he would instantly pass out if he tried. Along with that, if he ejected his bones as projectiles, he could become incredibly weak if he were to eject too much, tiring and requiring calcium.

History:
The slums is where he was raised, with an incredibly poor family, who's members were bad people. In general the environment was negative for Raiju - his neighbors were drug addicts and killers, and his family was no better. Yet, he still took interest in heroes through media outlets, taking great interest in their good deeds. Of course, it became a dream to thrive for - to become a professional hero. The only problem is, through his own youth, he had committed various crimes himself - he had hurt people, stolen goods, and more. Any attempts to become a hero were null, and he developed a hatred for them because of that. He knew that if he was picked up, he could have been a good person, but it's all he knows now - there's no coming back from it anymore, and he's accepted it. Now it's just his way of life, and he really doesn't mind it.

Pyre could be compared to a Gusher, soft and flexible on the outside while having a vibrant, flavor-packed, goo-filled interior.

Quite like this snack, Pyre's skin is fragile and sugar coated, and a simple bite could tear through it with little resistance. This seems to be purposefully implemented, because it allows Pyre to better use her true Quirk. Occupying her blood stream instead of blood, she holds different colored 'goos' that allow her to implement her Quirk to its full extent. All of them taste differently and have various properties, although all of them can be consciously controlled by Pyre like any other part of her body.

She has several different types of goo that can be used, all located in a different body part. Her arms and legs are where the 4 types of goos are located, whereas a special type of goo is located in her chest and head. Her right arm contains red goo, left surrounds green goo; her right leg holds blue goo, while her left leg has yellow. If a large portion of any of these colored goos leaks from Pyre's body, it quickly absorbs the rest of Pyre's being and allows her to shift into a liquid form, with the traits of that color of goo. Goo can't be combined in liquid form, and thus she has to choose which one she wants more.

The goo in her chest, white in color, protects her vital organs. If touched by a foreign entity, it quickly hardens and reduces her to a, more or less, inert form; all the goo in her body retreats to her body and defends it by hardening around her vital parts as well. All goo takes on the same white color, and becomes a sort of tough 'cocoon' surrounding her vital parts. Very, very difficult to penetrate (although not impossible), and repeated attempts will only harden it further. Once the white goo feels Pyre is in a safe environment, it allows her to revert back into an unconscious, normal state. Pyre also reverts back to her regular form after recollecting most of her liquidated form, allowing her to reform her skin and overall body shape around the goo. Takes a bit to do.

Red
Most 'offensive' color, fairly quick, relatively stiff, most dense of all colors, exerts the greatest force/strength, can be used to meld different shapes, a bit more brittle after being made into something; has a smell and taste like cinnamon.

Blue
Incredibly viscous, impervious to quick attacks (which bounce off harmlessly, more or less), absorbent (as in, it absorbs force quite well, meaning brute force has little effect), tastes and smells like grapes. Used defensively, for blocking attacks, or slowing enemies.

Yellow
Permeable, low friction, easily flowing, very quick, smells of lemons. Used for superb mobility, for dodging, or quick strikes. Much runnier than other colors and appears to be the most liquid-esque of them all. Uses tiny 'hairs' (still made of goo) to rush across surfaces faster than other colors, rather than traditionally 'crawl' along them.

Green
Has properties like Aloe Vera or Neosporin, can be placed on a wound to help ease and heal it; doesn't work instantly, but can definitely help provide relief and slightly faster recovery rates. If the person hasn't been harmed too much, however, it can actually fortify their physical conditions slightly, especially if she uses more goo on the person; Smells of mint, and tastes like it too.

Strengths
- Versatile and useful in most situations
- Liquid form is resistant to most forms of damage, besides when her white core is targeted
- Can use multiple goo colors when she's not in liquid form, allowing her right arm to become red goo and her left arm to become green goo (or other combinations), although she has to be careful to not destroy too much of her physical form or she will revert into her liquidated state
- Ruptured skin can be healed by recollecting the goo that leaks out
- Her pain receptors are significantly numbed from constant bodily harm needed to access liquid form; still feels pain, though
- She can generate goo from her being, allowing for a large quantity of goo to leak from a wound or for her to change her size while in liquid form
- Most forms of her goo can glide across ceilings or walls with relative ease

Weakness
- Easy to find out what colors do what if you're around her enough
- Can be wounded and forced into liquid form if her arms or legs are punctured too much
- Can be forced into a comatose/immobile state if she is attacked where her vitals are/the white goo is located
- If she can't gather most of her liquid, she can't shift back into her regular form
- Can't use multiple goos when in liquid form, and is more or less stuck with that goo color until she recollects herself
- Could very well be manipulated by those who can control water or something similar while in liquid form
- Has been known to be exceptionally tasty, and can actually be eaten with relative ease; the idea terrifies her
- Is literally the definition of candy gore

Personality
Hating the feeling of helplessness, Pyre is very good at caring for herself and tends to never ask others for help. She isn't against it, but she just always needs to know she can handle herself. Because of her past, she has a few trust issues, especially with people who might have a sweet tooth. Her irrational fear of being eaten doesn't help, although if any attempts are made she is completely ready to defend herself. In most occasions, she is quiet and reserved. In her head, she often judges people who are different from herself.

However, her opinions are quick to change if someone does something she likes. Maybe if someone talks to her and shows what kind of person they are truly, she could like them better. You'll know if she likes you, as she tends to hang around those she tolerates and actually engage in conversation. Pyre isn't the best at being loyal, because she's used to only thinking about herself. If she gets close to someone, though, she considers them an extension of herself and protects them as such. Getting to this point with her is difficult, but not impossible.

Shrugs off pain and threats, and doesn't acknowledge people's prowess until she sees it for herself. However, she doesn't have any kind of inflated ego or giant confidence in herself. She just knows she can defend herself well enough; in her mind, though, that's all she needs. Pyre is rather selfish in the eyes of some, but really she's just looking out for herself. She isn't sure who she can truly let her guard down around, because, hey, they might decide to take a bite out of her shoulder 'just to see how it tastes'. The idea honestly scares her, but she tries not to let it show too much.

History
A troubled one, mostly because of her Quirk. Most of the problems were in her childhood, where she literally got partially consumed on multiple occasions. Her parents tried doing whatever they could to help, but with her father's sugar manipulation quirk and her mother's 'glue' quirk, they just couldn't do much. They supported her emotionally whenever she needed it, however, and Pyre loved them dearly for this.

Several years after 'discovering' her quirk, the girl didn't realize she could control the goo inside of her until one of the bullies in her school had literally cut her head off. She blacked out for a moment, then, after coming back into consciousness, she saw the bully licking her cheek; she screamed, and her headless body exploded into a red liquid form and tackled him.

She caught her head with her new body, and the bully quickly sprinted away. It took her several days to figure out how to return to her regular form, but at least no one tried eating her while in this form... Finding new courage with this discovery of her Quirk, she felt empowered and much less helpless. Vowing at that moment to never allow any situation to make her feel helpless, her determination was set. No one would eat her just because they could, ever again... And if anyone tried, she could defend herself without worry of being unable to.

A kagune is composed of Rc cells, which flow just like blood, can become as solid as teeth and can be described as "liquid muscles." The Rc cells are released from a kakuhou piercing the skin, and the released Rc cells form the kagune. The kagune are voluntary muscles as Res can control them whenever he wants and repeatedly harden and soften at will.

Res is able to move nimbly in most environments and attack quickly due to heightened physique
Weakness:
Constant use of the ability will exhaust him and put immense strain on his body. Also, if in use for too long, Res' , mental state will begin to deteriorate and he will begin to show signs of insanity before completely losing control of his actions and decisions.

The venom and acid is practically a fusion of the two that can be separated only
when solidified or when acidic levels are lowered enough to not kill individuals but harm them.
Like a 50/50 bar, if one is more than the other it becomes more venomous, less acidic or more acidic, less venomous.
Ambition and fire in her are what gets her blood flowing.
If she pumps her blood up just enough, it can teeter into acid.

If she calms herself just enough, it teeters into plain venom.
Which helps her liquify and solidify venom.

Heat is an enhancement.


She can control both her acid and venom once it leaves her body.


Weakness:
- If she brews too much w/ anger it can cause her blood to reach a boiling point and put her into a coma

depending on how angry she gets.
-If she's too docile, it will take longer to get her blood flow to heat back up.

- Ice/Cold is a weakness b/c she is cold blooded

WAAAGH!
Kisho's mutant-type quirk is evident by his greenskin, large teeth, and having a biology has actually more in common with fungus then anything else. But this body has the ability to generate a form of energy known as the "WAAAGH". This is essentially a point where Kisho has built up excitement in of himself, he can unleash it in a burst through shouting. Those who are closest to Kisho may feel a surge of energy and excitement surge through them, though very little else happens to strangers or enemies. But the main benefit of this "WAAAGH!" energy is the fact that Kisho can becomes increasingly stronger, tougher, and faster the more excited he gets. The draw back, however, is that he slowly loses control of himself with the more excitement he gains or the more physical trauma his body endures, with thoughts of mindless violence starting to seep into his thought process as a more bestial and aggressive side of him starts to take over. Kisho can fight it off, but there's a point where that voice of reason may be drowned out by the bestial side, and in order for Kisho to have a fighting chance of taking back control, he needs to be calm down or exhausted, only then Kisho's mental battle with himself begins.
A side note, every time Kisho unleashes his quirk and commits an aggressive act, he grows bigger. In fact, Kisho's size is a testimony as to how much he has kept his excitement under wraps for the past 16 years, as he is taller then most people standing up stright, but he appears shorter as he is always hunched. A part of Kisho is a bit afraid that if he uses his quirk more often, he might grow to the size of a truck.
Strengths:
Hit 'arda! Move Fasta! Don't Give Up!- The more excitied Kisho gets, the tougher, stronger, and faster he will get, but
Painless- Not painless per say, but when Kisho is in that state of WAAAGH! then there's less the feeling of pain and the more the feeling of giving whoever is trying to inflict pain on him a good booting in the bum.
Academic Smarts- He doesn't seem like it, but Kisho can do very well when it comes to hitting the books, as it keeps him busy, and he scores near the top of his class. Of course, this has more "practical" uses outside of the class...like making homemade fire works
Homemaker-You'd be surprised how neat Kisho can be, as cleaning and doing chores helps to keep Kisho calm and his mind off of fighting. Kisho's also not a half bad cook.

Weakness:
The Beast Inside- There's a point of Kisho's qurik that he is still learning to master and tame, it's why he joined the academy to begin with. Yet it's a part of him that he fears very much, because he knows that there's a line that, if he passes it, he may not be able to come back. When unleashing his quirk, it makes him much more aggressive and instinctual, while he does get stronger and tougher, his finer motor skills will deteriorate and his sense of thought reduce to thoughts of mindless violence. It makes him very easy to goad, as he only need a target to follow, which could be foe...or even friend. If this gets out of hand, it'll take a lot to calm Kisho back to the point where his conscious mind can wrestle control back from his bestial side. This it also appear to be physical, as he may try flinging his head into a wall or punching himself in order to exhaust or knock himself unconscious.
Kontroll, Kontroll, Kontroll, K-WAAAAGH!- Kisho needs to keep himself calm and busy, or in order to not prematurely set off his quirk, it's why he keeps stress balls on him at all times. Alternatively, Kisho can release his need to violence in a safe and incremental way, such as going at a punching bag. If he does not do either things, then Kisho's quirk may go off prematurely, and then he'd need to find somthing to hit...very hard....or at least until he's calmed down.
Just Another Runt-
Out of his "WAAAGH!" phase, Kisho is only slightly tougher and stronger then normal humans, but not by much.
Communication Breakdown- Although Kisho can express himself very well on paper, his biology doesn't allow for him to produce clear speech. Thus, he is stuck talking in a rather cockney manner that is very hard to understand or dismissed as simpleton talk.
I'm a Monsta!- Kisho does not look remotely human, that does very little to help his self esteem, as he see himself a monster, even is afraid of what he would do when he's quirk is let loss.

History:

Or so he thought.
It didn't help that he looked different, with his tough green skin, red eyes, crooked teeth that made speaking normally difficult.
There was no escaping the reality of his situation; Kisho was born a freak, a monster...born different then everyone else.
People used to pick on and make fun of Kisho for the way he looked, even among those kids with other mutant-type abilities, for being ugly...
well they used to...
It was never the remarks about him being ugly that bother him, nor the way they made fun of how he spoke....his parents always told him to ignore those types of people and be a stronger, better person.
But he couldn't always be that better person.
What crossed the line for him was when they started making fun of his family.
That was what made him see red.
That day, Kisho got supsended for breaking a kids nose as well as for smashing some of his teeth out...he was only suspended and not expelled, because it was recoginzed that this was because of his quirk.
His parents knew that, and they worked hard to be able to convince Kisho's principle that this was the case.
When Kisho returned to school, no one picked on him anymore...neither did they talk to him, or even come near him.
Coupled with the fact that the word got around about what Kisho did, and suddenly he and his family were the talk of the town.
Kids would run at the sight of him, screaming about how he was going to break their noses. Adults would smile and talk nicly to Kisho, but he could see it in their eyes: they were afraid of him too, and whenever they looked at his parents, it was the look of pity, that looked that said "I'm sorry that your child turned out that way".
Least, that was what Kisho thought,
as he tried to run away from home.
But his parents weren't having it, as they were able to track him down in the pouring rain.
They loved they're son, no matter what he looked like...and they made sure Kisho knew that.
It was always somthing that Kisho was grateful for,
his family was the only thing that kept him going,
made life worth living.
So Kisho's life continued, even among the fear against him...though over time, people's fears slowly subsided, even forgotten.
Of course, there were to be two more additions to Kisho's life: A younger sister and younger brother, both were also quirk users, although not of the mutant-type quirk of their elder brother.
Perhaps he should have been enviouse of his younger siblings for being normal, heck, even idolized by the people around him and his family.
But he couldn't, they were so freakin' adorable! They three of them would always play and wrestle, spending many days together, the three of them. He loved them, and they loved him.
He almost didn't want them to grow up...he wanted to be able to protect them forever.
But that was just the thing.
Protect.
How could he, a green skinned monster, ever do somthing like that?
A hero.
It never crossed Kisho mind to ever be a hero, in fact he spent most of his life trying to supress his quirk after the incident with hurting that kid.
He couldn't be a hero...not even amongst those who looked different, he was too different, too wild, too uncontrollable.
He was a lost cost.
Or so he thought.
One day, Kisho was on his way back from school. He had stopped by the super market to pick up some groceries and was just heading back...when he encountered a fight between a hero and a villian.
Wasen't an odd sight to see such a thing around the city, in fact, he'd even watch fights like these with his siblings. It was all par for the course...except Kisho never thought he would ever get involved...nor did he want to get involved.
Regardless of what he wanted, Kisho found himself involved.
By throwing himself in front of an excited kid
Then,
oh boy,
he saw so much red.
What happened next, Kisho could barely remember, but later he learned, from both being told and watching the news footage, that he had unintentionally unleashed his quirk and promptly began trying to beat the villain into paste, breaking several of the villain's bones in the process. The hero had to literally tear Kisho off of the villain to keep the villain alive, and they couldn't calm him down until Kisho's parents had arrived. When Kisho did calm down, he was surprised to learn, both from looking down and the pain, to find several icy, sharp objects stuck in him.
As the authorities finished questioning him at the scene, he felt a tug on his school uniform.
It was the excited kid from before that Kisho had dove in front of.
What he said next, Kisho would never forget for the rest of his life.
With a bright smile, the kid asked.
"Hey mister, are you a hero?"
That left Kishio speechless, as his jaw hung open but words did not come out.
After a moment of silence, and contemplation, Kishio replied with a bit of a smile.
"Not yet."

Strengths: Can manipulate light around her to create crude spears or swords made of pure light that she can project further. In bright light she can create a small shield, however it is fairly weak and requires a lot of energy.

Weakness: The less light there is around her the weaker her quirk is and the more energy she has to put forth to use it, in complete darkness she can't use her quirk at all. She also has very poor night vision.

History: Aki's mother died from lung cancer when Aki was young, Aki's father tried to raise his daughter to the best of his abilities while also struggling with his grief but Aki lost count of the times she would find him sobbing when he thought he was alone. Aki learned how to hide her own struggles behind a mask and instead focus on making sure others were ok, she took up the cooking and the cleaning and learned how to take care of others with a smile.
