The Guild Hall

seth_s_mansion_interior_by_imagedeli_d2zbywt.jpg

The Guild Hall Itself: Arguably the most extravagant of all legal guild guild halls, the Blue Pegasus guild hall is fully adorned with luxurious decorations, as well as decked out with marble columns, and a black pearl floor. In tribute to older civilizations, the guild hall truly looks like an ancient palace.

The Guild: Description to come

Location: ?

Blue Pegasus is another top guild in Fiore, and one can argue that they may even be THE top guild in Fiore, that all depends on who you ask though. All I know is that Blue Pegasus is a guild that very much likes to stick to their traditions. Since its founding centuries ago, they still keep fashion and beauty as a top priority, though I don't believe there really is a place for that for a top guild.

Gregory Maximillion Victoria, guild master of the most fashionable and fabulous guild in Fiore, flipped his bangs back as he pushed open the door to the guild hall while being not at all subtle about alerting the rest of his guild to his arrival. In one hand, he held a bag that was presumably filled with designer clothing that only he would have ever been willing to spend the money on, and it was clear from the way his eyes scanned the guild that he was looking for one member in particular.

“You! Reinstein!” he was very quick to point to the guild’s newest member, fresh off the stage of his last mission. “This will be a long…possibly gruesome process,” he began, “but it is time for you to fly. It is time for you to become one of the lovely pegasi.”

His eyes flickered to the rest of his guildmates, most of them looking lovely as usual although there were always those who disappointed him. He took note of those he would need to talk to later before he waved them all over. “Come on guys! Heather saw something in this one so now we’ve gotta dig deep to unleash his inner Pegasus.”

Werner was pleasantly surprised when the guild master pointed at him. Even though the name was wrong, he still smiled a little, raising his hand. "Here Master Gregory!" His eyes went to the bags he was carrying, slightly blushing.

"I hope he didn't buy those clothes for me." He said in his mind, trying to get the blush out of the way. It was something that made him feel like a beggar, for someone to bring him clothes.

"Have I just became a burden on them ? I hope they won't hate me." After that thought crossed his mind, he quietly grassped his chest, feeling a sudden burst of anxiety kicking in. "M-Master, can you tell me where the showers are ? I currently smell of burned pig after that misshap earlier in the p-play, and would like to shower, if that's o-ok." His voice was trembling, as he now moved his hand to his other arm, holding it tight.

Heather Lillian

Heather just so happened to be walking down the steps of the guild hall at the same time that Master Greg had made his grand entrance and the blonde mage rolled her eyes at his insistence upon drama. "Master, Werner's new here. At least let him settle in before putting him through your beauty routine," she said softly, already aware that he wouldn't listen to her. She had to try, though.

Very quickly, Heather's attention turned to Werner with a smile upon her face.
"Don't worry. I still know your name and I'm not about to let any of these drama queens forget it." Swinging her arm out, she gestured to all of the other guild members present implying that they were the "drama queens". Then her eyes flickered to Master Greg as she added, "He'll learn it too, eventually. He's just messing with you. You'll get used to it."

"You said you wanted a shower, right?"
Her eyebrow raised as she asked the question to ensure that she had heard him right. "No offense, but you could use one." Heather held out her hand to Werner as the smile washed back onto her face. "I'll lead the way!"

Werner's blush was still present as he looked at Heather. "Oh. Th-that's reassuring." Werner said, smiling and scratching the back of his head. He was happy that at least Heather knew his name.

Werner nodded in agreement with Heather's statements, slowly grabbing her hand. "I just feel, not nice at all." Werner said motioning for Heather to lead the way. He was now trying to get his confidence back.

Russel Lefton

Russel jumped up as soon as Master Gregory walked in the door and the young boy's eyes remained fixated on the bag that the guildmaster was carrying as though he was very much stuck in anticipation. "What's in the bag!? What's in the bag!?" the young mage berated the guildmaster with questions before he had even taken two steps into the building.

The young mage seemed extremely disappointed when Master Greg proceeded to signal out Werner, their newest member, and Russel rolled his eyes as the guildmaster once again messed up the guy's name. "Why not just call him Heather's boyfriend and be done with it?" the boy muttered under his breath as he began searching the hall for something more interesting because he certainly didn't want to help play dress up with the man who Russel had already labeled uninteresting.

It was only with those thoughts that Russel realized he still had guildmates who hadn't seen his new shoes yet and the boy began bouncing immediately as he started running throughout the guild hall in search of Jacob. He was pretty sure the guy would be home; no one had mentioned him having gone off on a mission at all although Russel never really knew with some of his guildmates. Some of them were much easier to keep track of then others. Take Dusty for example... his presence is just easy to know. There's no way his rowdiness is present without the guild hall being... well, rowdy. Jacob though... and Olive too; they're always going poof. And Heather, she just tries to be a mom to everyone. Maybe the new dude will help with that.

Not wanting to get too distracted with his thoughts, though, Russel cupped his hands around his mouth as he hollered, "Jacob! Are you here! I got new shoes and they're pretty great!"

"I just feel, not nice at all."

Heather rolled her eyes at Russel's offhand comment before she smiled to Werner while trying to convey a sense of understanding to him as she led him through the halls of the beautiful guild hall. "Don't worry. I'm sure a shower will definitely help there," she replied swiftly. "And after that we can transform you into a true pegasus. You haven't even gotten your guildmark yet, have you? Its the greatest feeling in the world - belonging to a guild." Heather's words made it seem like a dream come true.

"And you'll only learn more about yourself from here," she continued. "Everyone's not terrible once you can see beyond the fashion and the glamour. I've even come to like most of them... even Russel." She spoke about her guildmates with a sense of respect and care. It was almost like a mother talking about her children; it almost made it seem as though she felt obligated to protect them and love them. She did, of course, but one wouldn't realize that without asking.

Finally, Heather stopped dragging Werner through the halls of the guild hall and she promptly released Werner's hand from her own as she turned to face him.
"Here we are," she gestured. "There should be everything you need to freshen up in there... towels and soap and washcloths and shampoo. There's probably a lot more than that, actually, knowing Master Gregory. I'll send someone with down with a change of clothes as well," she commented as she observed that Werner's current outfit was practically charred to pieces.

Werner shakes his head when Heather asked about his Guild Mark. "I am guildless. I don't know what it's supposed to be, only a mark that makes you a part of a... family." He says, looking down. A smile crept on his face. A feeling, a warmth suddenly engulfed his body, a feeling that he taught it was long lost, but now it has resurfaced. Werner's head went up again, smiling, a tear flowing down on his right cheek.

The way that Heather talked about her guild mates, it was something unique. Like a mother talks about her children. He lets out a chuckle when he heard Russel's name.
"He sure seems like a handfull that one. But, he seems good at hearth. Reminds me of someone." Werner said, sighing and slowly dusting himself, a part of his shirt's arm falling off.

Werner was caught by surprise by the sudden stop, widening his eyes. He nods, then bows, returning to his default state, smiling and standing in a rather playful stance, his arms crossed to his chest. "Thank you so much Heather. It is... a little overwhelming to have this much care just, thrown at you. Nonetheless, thank you for believing in me. Oh, and, before I go, is there a place where I can train freely?" Werner asked, looking inside the bathroom.

Jacob Arkonius Foles

Warden of the Fog

"If you truly believe it is only Russell that is a handful, you have not met the Ace of our Guild, my friend." Seemingly to have appeared out of thin air, the young man walked calmly out, his hands folded behind his back. His white hair was strangely styled, though it did have a sort of ragtag look to it. His eyes shined red, his hair covering the right one, though through the strands it still glowed faintly. His pale skin made him look like a ghost, he knew that. His apparel today was rather simple; a black tuxedo that was freshly cleaned with a pale blue tie with it.

Jacob smiled thinly, bowing down to the new member. "
It is nice to meet you, Mr. Reinhold. I hope I don't offend you by calling you Werner?" He stood back up, and regarded Heather as well, looking her up and down. "Hello, Heather. Sorry I was unable to catch you earlier, I overslept a day or two." Jacob sighed happily, looking past the two for a moment, zoning out. "I don't have that bonehead around right now to keep me awake with his boundless energy..." His eyes snapped back to Werner. "If you ever need some clothes, Werner, I have some old stuff that still looks rather nice."

Walking around the two, he waved a hand lazily. "
Anyways, I'll keep you two from whatever you have to do. I should go and see to Russell before he gets too loud." He paused for a moment, and turned to look back at Werner. "I almost forgot to tell you to look out for Dusty. He isn't the greatest of influences. Sometimes, the public calls him an 'animal' or a 'monster', but he's just a big teddy bear that loves to fight." Waving goodbye, he continued towards the lobby. "Ciao."

Jacob continued on his way, heading towards the front door until he got to the bright and dazzling lobby. He bowed first to Master Greg, then waved to Russell. "
Welcome home, you two. I hope the shows were as good as expected to be." He had been in the town of Onibus for a small amount, having met Alyssa Gardner of Lamia Scale there, before the planning for the show commenced.

His attention was drawn from the Master and Russell from a small yawn a small ways away from him. He looked over at the small lump of fur that was napping on the railing of the staircase. Or, he seemed to be napping. Rian opened one lazy eye to acknowledge it's master, before shutting it's eye again and hanging it's paw over the side, soft snores coming from him. Jacob smiled, then turned back to the two.

"
Those are some killer shoes, Russell." Jacob lifted his own dress shoes up, chuckling. "I should get myself a pair like it. My shoes are getting a little tough to walk in." He turned to look at the Master. "Is there anything you need me to do, Master? Clean anything or go out and buy clothes for our new addition to the family?"

Heather Lillian

Heather smiled at Werner, her face gentle and kind. “You are part of our family now,” she explained. “You’re a pegasus, or you will be. After you shower, you should come back down to the common room. You still need to get your guildmark and then we’ll show you the whole place. I think you’ll find many things to your liking.”

Suddenly, Heather heard the voice of another one of her guildmates and she glanced over Werner’s shoulder to see Jacob. “Hi Jacob!” she beamed, delighted to see another person who would make Werner feel at home. “This,” she gestured, “is Jacob. And he is, unfortunately, correct. Russel is the lesser handful of the two of them, but you can worry about that whenever Dusty gets back. I wonder where the big lump went off to in the first place. Usually he and Jacob are inseparable.”

Waving as Jacob left the two of them, Heather returned her attention to Werner. “Well, I guess I’ll let you get cleaned up. I’m sure one of the boys will bring you a fresh set of clothes since yours are a bit…” she let the statement trail off, not sure of a polite word to add to it. In all reality, they were torn to shreds. “I’ll be down in the common room when you’re finished and I’ll give you the grand tour!”

Master Gregory Maximillion Victoria

"Welcome home, you two. I hope the shows were as good as expected to be."

“Delightful! Our pegasi were shining brightly on this stage, indeed!” Master Gregory proclaimed, his voice filled with pride for the members of his guild. “As I am sure they will continue to do in the future,” he couldn’t keep from adding on.

"Is there anything you need me to do, Master? Clean anything or go out and buy clothes for our new addition to the family?"

“Ah… yes! Have you met him yet? I’m not quite sure of him myself; he definitely needs some work. Maybe you could teach him a thing or two about the most glorious guild in all of Fiore,” the guildmaster suggested. “After all, you’ve certainly learned how to clean up well.”

Then the guildmaster gestured to the bag in his hand. “I’ve already picked up a few things; I just couldn’t help myself. They should fit,” the guildmaster remarked with a smile on his face. “It’s the fun part of getting a new member… all the shopping. But it’s much needed, wouldn’t you agree, Jacob? There’s no other way we could maintain the most fabulous guild in all of Fiore.”

Werner nodded and sighed, entering the bathroom. He undressed himself, careful not to misplace his pendant he had, as well as his weapon. He took a towel that was left there, with the blue pegasus insignia, and wrapped himself in it, heading towards the shower. He looks around at the bottles there. "Relaxing shower gel? Heh, gonna need a hell of a lot. So, conditioner... here. Honey. Lovely, and shampoo. Great!" Werner exclaimed, finding what he needed. He head towards the shower, and turned it on, after taking off his towel.

"AHH! MY LOVELY GOD!" Was a scream that was heard throughout the guild. "Who left the water on boil?! I am a human lobster!" Werner's body was red, and his wounds started to show even more. He fixed the water on normal temperature, starting to wash himself. Werener breaths in slowly, starting to clean himself, even though it started to hurt, due to some open wounds still on him, plus the 2nd degree burns from being a human lightning pole. The shampoo slowly cleaned his hair, from the dirty, black hair, to the shinny auburn he had, and the conditioner made his hair straight again, not the curly mess it was.

Stopping the shower, he starts to dry himself up. He tied his towel around his waist, some water still dripping from his, using another towel to dry his hair. He let out a sigh of relief, feeling much better, and, taking a long look at his pendant, puts it back on his neck, holding it in his left fist, closing his eyes. He needed a moment alone, and a moment for a moment of recollection. "I did it sis..."

Russel Lefton

Russel returned Jacob’s wave with a vigorous one of his own as his shoes flew him up into the air and over to his guildmate. “The plays were AWESOME! Werner fought the green haired girl and the stage caught fire and I got to fly over the audience and I got to show off my shoes and Heather destroyed things and I didn’t have to dress up like a girl and…. and…” He had to stop and catch his breath after not breathing at all throughout his sentence.

Landing on the ground, Russel’s eyes shifted to his shoes as he bent down to brush the dust off of their pure white leather surface. “I’ve gotta make sure they stay clean,” he commented swiftly.

Then his eyes turned to the bag in Master Gregory’s hand as the guildmaster mentioned it. “You went shopping and you didn’t bring me with you!?” Russel whined. Even though his voice sounded upset, it was a mock anger; that much was clear from the grin on his face. Why would I really whine about something like that? I can just steal something if I want it…

Of course, the boy didn’t dare say that out loud.

Jacob Arkonius Foles

Warden of the Fog

Jacob laughed as Russel whined at Master Greg. Jacob placed his hand on his Guild mates shoulder. "Don't worry, Russel. Maybe sometime you and I can go out and shop for some new clothing. Maybe we can do it before Dusty gets home so he won't tag along with us. If he does, he'll drag us everywhere but where we can get some clothes." He tapped the pocket on the inside of his jacket. "I have some leftover cash from one of my recent missions, anyways."

Jacob looked back towards where he came from, as he could just faintly hear a yell of what he assumed was surprise mixed with pain. His eyebrows raised, as he was unsure of what had happened. "
Hmmm...seems our new addition had an accident in the bathroom?" Jacob assumed that he probably misjudged the temperature of the bath and most likely scalded himself. It would probably be rather embarrassing to walk in on him stark naked, so Jacob held his ground. "I'll check on him soon enough."

Jacob turned back to Master Greg, and nodded in agreement. "
Indeed, Master. If we just allowed ourselves to slack in our appearance, then that would be against what Blue Pegasus stands for." Jacob looked own at his suit, holding the jacket open a bit to see his undershirt. 'Though...it is a little pricey for me sometimes...thank god Dusty and I share funds, and he rarely needs anything except food.' He let his jacket fall back into place, and stood back straight, his hands folded behind his back and his feet planted firmly together. "If you would be okay with, Master Greg, I will help Werner with his apparel. I have some clothes that I don't wear anymore sitting in my room here that I don't wear anymore, and he may like." With that, Jacob bowed and turned back, walking up the stairs, giving Heather a friendly smile as he passed her.

Master Gregory Maximilliion Victoria

The guildmaster first nodded to Russel’s apt yet brief description of the plays, smiling and glad that the young boy had enjoyed the mission. “Russel was a true star and his inner pegasus is blooming wonderfully, I must say,” Master Greg commented, complimenting their youngest mage although the boy seemed to compliment himself enough as well.

Like Jacob, the guildmaster too heard the scream coming from upstairs and he chuckled a bit at that. “I guess he’s not used to the glamour,” he smirked, “but we’ll fix that soon enough.”

Then when Jacob finally headed up stairs to check on the new lad, Master Gregory didn’t object. He nodded in agreement although his eyes did flicker to the new outfits he had purchased for their newest addition. “I suppose I can give these to him as a gift after we officially welcome him,” he contemplated out loud. Noting the fur trim on one of the jackets, Master Gregory decided that would be most appropriate since he didn’t quite think it was something Werner would be comfortable wearing quite yet. Of course, that didn’t mean the guildmaster planned to give him too much time to adjust before the beauty of the guild became a requirement. He didn’t continue giving Dusty time to adjust (although he doubted the dragon slayer would ever adjust), so he couldn’t give too much time to the newbie either.

Heather Lillian

Heather took a seat in a lounge chair within the common room of the guild hall, delighted to be able to take some of the weight off of her feet for a while. She watched the interaction between Russel, Jacob and Master Gregory with a smile upon her face. It was a good feeling to see that the troublesome little boy known as Russel was bothering someone else for a little while; not that she honestly didn’t like being around him. He was just a bit rambunctious for her present state.

A slight frown trickled onto her face as they talked about the plays because she still wasn’t very happy with the way they had turned out. They had gone from trying to make something beautiful to turning it into something violent and unartistic. She wasn’t about to object, though. It would ruin Russel’s joy.

Then something else caught her attention. Master Gregory had mentioned offering the clothing he had purchased for Werner as a gift. Heather liked that idea and as she sat in the chair, Heather mulled over any thoughts that might peek into her mind. She wanted to make a gift for Russel; wanted to give him something to make this place, this guild hall, feel more like home to him. She wanted to give him something that would tell him he was a part of this guild now - not just a guest and not just someone who they had decided to bring home for the time being.

Heather had no idea where her mind was going, but she knew that there was some spark of an idea there, some semblance of a thought. That was all she needed. “Glass Make…” she whispered as she waved her hand across her lap feeling the magic pour into the creation, allowing her thought, unclear as it was, to flow into her hands.

Before she really knew what she had intended to make, Heather had a little pegasus figurine standing on her lap. It was about the size of her own hand and as she picked it up to examine her handiwork, Heather toyed with the wings. They were firm, detailed, engraved. And the tail was what made it special. It curved like a lightning bolt - a symbol of Werner, a symbol that showed him he was a part of the Pegasus guild now.

Werner Reinhold

A gentle breeze caressed Werner's skin, waking him out of his trance. His image of his sister still vivid in his mind, he took his necklace and placed it gently back on his neck. He looked at the clothes on the bench. "Tsk. Not one yellow. I really liked that color." Nevertheless, Werner realized that these people were offering him stuff, and he was already being picky. Werner never liked for people to take pitty on him.

After he dressed himself, he stretched, to put his bones in their right place. "It's like I'm in a new body. I love it." The shirt covered the scar on his chest, and the others on his left arm. Plus, the lightning that struck him left a tree-like shape on his arm. Other than the grim visual reminders, his scars healed completely, but the memory of the pain he suffered still remained.

Soon, Werner made his ways back in the hall, clearing his throat. He smiled when he saw the others. "So, about the training earlier. When should I start, and where should I go to start? Don't want to get sloppy on that too." With his arms crossed at the chest, he looked in the direction of Heather, seeing a small figurine in her hands.

Jacob Arkonius Foles

Warden of the Fog

Jacob walked through the marvelously decorated hallways of the Blue Pegasus Guild Hall, whistling as he went. To any newcomer or guest, the halls of the Guild probably seemed like they were endless, but Jacob knew it was simply the architecture that was doing this. Once you take enough walks through it, you could be blindfolded and still make it to your destination. Easily enough, Jacob was on his way to one of the spare rooms that was in the Guild Hall that had originally been used for storage, but he had improvised into a sort of walk-in closet in case he needed to change clothes fast.

As he walked into the room, he touched a small pad on the inside of the door, and light illuminated the room. It was about thirty feet in length each way, with clothes neatly set up on hangers and folded on shelves. He walked forward and began looking through them, trying to find anything that their new member could wear, and something Jacob could offer as a gift as well. He flipped through clothing, looking over tuxedos and stylish sweaters that he had found at nice prices during his travels. While Jacob was never one for sticking to fashion (he enjoyed wearing simple suits and tuxedos with the occasional overcoat), but he knew that sometime he may have to dress-up fancily or go attend a photo shoot for Master Greg.

As he walked to the next side of the room, he nearly tripped, having to reach up and grip one of the shelves in order to prevent himself from slamming his face into the floor. He looked down at his feet, and scowled at the small pile of dirty shirts. He reached down and picked them up, placing them on an empty spot on his shelf and holding one out to look at it. It was torn to shreds, a black button-up short sleeve shirt. Obviously Dusty's, but the fact that it was destroyed to such an extent was rather impressive. Frowning, he grabbed all the shirts and placed them in a small basket near the door.

Returning to looking through clothes, he found something he thought Werner might enjoy. He held it out in front of him, looking it over. It was a black button-up dress shirt. There were buttons up farther on the sleeves, so the wearer could fold the ends up farther if they would want to. He turned it around, looking at the design on the back. It was a embroidered image of a pegasus, it's body posed in such a way it looked like it was standing up to a greater power. Turning it around, Jacob ran his hand over the small Blue Pegasus insignia on the front. Jacob remembered that he had ordered the shirt a while ago, custom made for him. Of course, that was a few years back, and his body was now lankier and a little too toned for it anymore. A perfect gift for someone. And if it didn't fit, he doubted it would be too difficult to find a mage who could edit the seams.

He walked out of the closet, waving his hand as he did to form a cloud beneath him. He floated through the air, setting a fog line in front of him for the mist to follow, so Jacob could fix the sleeves of his tuxedo. He was also still feeling rather tired, which he wasn't sure what reason he was tired for. He had the best nights sleep last night than in a long time. As he got back to the entrance to the Hall, Jacob saw Werner near the stairs. Floating over to stand next to him, he held the shirt out to him. "I apologize. I know this isn't much, but I feel like a small welcoming gift is in order. This shirt represents our Guild, and I think passing it onto a new member is the right thing to do." His eyes looked over to Heather, noticing the small figurine in her lap. He smiled slyly, before returning his face to a more pleasant look.
