Realistic or Modern Blue Moon *Mythical Creature RP*

" Well that was a waste of time. " Reddo grumbled as he walked out of the park. Normally he has a way of finding interesting things just by wandering aimlessly but this time he didn't seem to be as lucky. Resisting the urge to pout like a child Reddo sighed as he blended into the crowds. "If something interesting doesn't happen soon I think I'm going to die of boredom. Especially since I can't go home as sis is probably sitting in wait to attack. She has some serious anger issues not to mention a low sense of humor. "

Ambrosia pouted as she walked out of the park.

'Stupid mortals... stupid Monsters... Why can't I ever have fun?!'

She glanced around and laughed as she saw a muted red light surrounding a young man who was walking out of the park as well.

"Well, would you look at that... A kitsune... I've never seen one of those before," she mumbled quietly, her gaze focused on the man.

((Sorry about that last post, I was thinking of a different roleplay when I posted it))

Arvia stepped out onto the street, holding their bag over their shoulder. They walking slowly and carefully to avoid the people who were carelessly trying to get to wherever. People making conversation were paused at nearly every shop door, blocking the entrance. Arvia searched for the street that lead out of town and to the beach. It wasn't far enough to need a car, but it was quite the walk. When they spotted the familiar street name, they turned onto the street and picked up their pace, hoping to get there before there were too many people. As they walked, Arvia began hearing footsteps behind them that seemed to speed up and slow down whenever Arvia did. Arvia became slightly paranoid with the sound of the footsteps behind them. When they didn't start when they neared the end of town, Arvia spun around to face whoever was following them. "Can I help you?" they snapped at the person.

"Ah.. Never mind." Shane had looked back over at the group to check if Sparro was still there, but he wasn't.

She stood up in panic, which seemed to startle Syo.
"Listen babe, you're really cute and maybe I'll see you again,"

Shane lowered her shades over her eyes again began speed walking away.

"Sorry! I uh, gotta, the bird- I mean," She was stuttering again. "I gotta go home! Uh.. Bye!"

With that awkward moment, she ran off towards the group of people.

''Hey, hold up-'' Syo jumped up to her feet, startled. ''Wh-'' She was taken aback by her sudden change in mood, watching her run off. ''..Oh. Well, then.'' Aaaand now she was back to having nothing to do again. She shrugged, heading away from the swings, noticing that Shane had headed towards the group instead.

Figuring Shane had just not wanted to talk to her, she didn't approach the group, but she was kinda wondering what they were actually doing. She'd seen them before, too, and something was..weird about them? It was just one or two guys, but she couldn't shake the feeling that there was..Something else there? Someone else there? She didn't really know how to put it.

Shane looked around and avoided the group completely, accidentally bumping into a blonde female who happened to be leaving the park and mumbling to herself, "Oof, sorry!"

She scurried off towards a bench when she heard a familiar song.

"Sparro?" She said to herself. She looked up and saw a small bird, of course, Sparro, perched up on top of the monkey bars.

"Why did you fly away like that, Sparro?! Don't let it happen again, you hear me!!" Shane was obviously furious, but that didn't seem to stop Sparro as he tweeted and flew away, following Syo who was walking away from the swings.

"Sparro!" She called out. She was nervous, as she realize it would require another awkward encounter if she ran back up to Syo. "Seriously, this better not be another 'literal wing man' attempt."

Shane chuckled to herself and jogged after Sparro, who landed on Syo's shoulder.

Feeling the hairs on the back of his neck rise Reddo tensed stopping in his tracks. Someone is watching me. Looking around he found a woman staring at him near the park. Curosity peaked Reddo wandered closer to the woman and caught an odd sent. Not a normal woman then. Lips quitting in amusement he spoke. "Any reason your staring miss?"

"Kitsune," she muttered happily, as he spoke to her.

She circled him, her eyes taking in every part of him.

"I've never seen one before," She breathed. "You're tails are beautiful." She smiled up at him, her eyes glazed over in excitement.

If possible Reddo tensed even more relaxed demeanor diminishing as he mentally cast an illusion over his tails for extra protection. Mind finally placing the scent Reddo scanned her again. A Nephilim. Now that's rare. "Thank you, I suppose. Nephilim are rather rare arn't they?"

You know what forget it. Redo decided taking the illusion off. Normal people couldn't see it but apparently others could. "Its Reddo. "

Syo froze up as she felt the bird land on her shoulder, trying to stand desperately still as to not scare it. ''Um. Sup, bird.'' She mumbled, trying to look at it without moving her head. Weird. Normally, animals tended to avoid her, partly because she barely stood still, and partly because..Well, she didn't know. Syo theorized it was 'cause she didn't have a..how would you put it, a scent? A aura? Something like that. She was just kind of empty, and humans didn't generally notice, but animals sure did.

She noticed something moving towards her out of the corner of her eye, and tilted her head slightly to see. ''Oh, hey, Shana! ..I mean, Shane. Hey, Shane!'' She resisted the urge to wave, it might scare the bird off.

(Pffft, 'literal wing man')

Bowing his head toward her politely, reminiscent of when he actually acted like a gentlemen. "Pleasure to meet you Ambrosia. I must say that's quiet an ironic name for a half Angel. "

Chuckling Reddo nodded. "Count yourself as lucky. My parents were not ones for originality. My full name means red tail. It hits the nail right on the head."

"Hey, babe. Excuse the bird, he's mine," Shane stuck out her palm. "And he's been acting quite disobedient hasn't he?"

Sparro plopped into Shane's palm after gently pecking Syo's cheek.

"Hmm..." Shane stared intently at Syo without a word. "Something pulled him to you. Besides him being nosy, he doesn't just peck anyb-"

Shane stopped herself abruptly and sighed while again, nervously scratching the back of her head.
"Nevermind. So, where 'ya headed?"

''He's yours?'' Syo asked in disbelief, flinching slightly as the bird went to peck her cheek, before a wide grin spread across her face. ''N'yaw, he's cute! And, yeah, I guess a bit disobedient. But still cute.'' She watched as it flew into Shane's palm, wondering how people managed to own birds without constantly fearing they'd fly off. ''Honestly, I'm not going anywhere.'' Syo admitted with a shrug. ''There was nothing to do, so I was wandering around the park.''

"That's true. " Reddo nodded in agreement. "However when somebody who knows Japanese says my name they have to do a double check. It gets tiring after a moment so eventually I just don't say my last name. This way all they can do is call me red. "

Smirking Reddo raised his hand as though giving a toast. "To all those with strange names and clever ways of getting around them. "

Ambrosia grinned and raised an imaginary glass.

"To all those with strange names and clever ways of getting around them," she repeated, laughing slightly.

"Here! Here! " Reddo cheered. Chuckling he dropped his hand just in time to hear an earily familiar little scream. Ah oh. Eyes widening he whipped around and found just what he feared. A little pink Fox wearing a snarl and covered in wood chips ran toward them attracting a lot of stares. Laughing nervously he prepared himself to run."Midget has major anger issues."
