† Stross Ravensdale †

† The Something Something †

Name: Stross Ravensdale

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Maximum Virtue: 25

Maximum Sin: 0

Weapon Type: Bow - Made from a combination of oak wood, animal sinew, and goat horn, the bow is a composite bow. The bow is roughly 3 feet from the top limb to the lower limb. It seems to glisten gently when in direct light.

Major Virtue: Patience

Minor Virtue: Diligence

Deadly Sin: Greed

Health: 17

Damage: 2

Abilities:

Slow Target

(

3

)

[Patience]

- The bow user can fire an arrow that is able to slow down a target’s personal time.

Dancing Weapon

(

5

)

[N/A]

- The bow user is able to make a bow that mimics all actions they perform. This allows for the longbow user to launch two attacks from two different directions.

Patient Arrow

(

1

)

[Patience]

- The bow user can stall an arrow in mid-air by positioning themself as if their were going to shoot the arrow in question. The user is able to release all stalled arrows at once with a command. However, if the user is damaged all patient arrows fire instantly. Patient arrows can be stacked. Patient arrows can not be redirected, they only fire in the direction they were originally aimed when they were set up.

Raid of Judgement

(

8

)

[Diligence]

- The bow user is able to shoot an arrow over a small designated area. That area is then pelted with a barrage of falling arrows. Everyone in the area takes

damage + 2

dealt in the attack, regardless of the number of enemies.

Repeating Step

(

2

|

+1

)

[N/A]

- The greedy sinner is able to build momentum while in motion. The sinner begins slow, but builds up speed throughout an encounter. This momentum allows the sinner to move at incredible speeds, causing all targets that try to target the sinner to have a -1 modifier to effect to their dice rolls. In addition to this, the sinner deals an additional

4 bonus damage

to targets if the ability or attack used motion.

Blood Horde

(

5

|

+2

)

[N/A]

- The greedy sinner is able to collect the blood of a target with each strike of their weapon. This collected blood is transformed into power for the sinner, increases their strength. While under the effects of this spell, the sinner will gain a

1 bonus damage

after using a damaging skill or attack. This bonus accumulates over the course of the encounter.

Encage

(

10

|

+2

)

[Greed]

- The greedy sinner is able to capture and horde unintelligent monsters in a pocket dimension and call/recall the creatures in battle at anytime. The greedy sinner must first capture a unintelligent creature by throwing a 1d6 roll. The targeted creature is then able to resist by rolling a saving throw (1d6 must be higher than the sinner’s 1d6 roll). The targeted creature must be unintelligent but can be any size. Once the targeted creature is encaged, the greedy sinner must name it (so it becomes one of their possessions). This name once uttered with intent will call forth the encaged creature. This caged creature will follow the orders of the greedy sinner as a servant (even if the order is suicidal). The creature can be called and recalled to the user without cost to the sinner. However is the creature is killed in battle they cannot be recalled or recaptured and they do not automatically heal between uses. There is no limit to how many creatures a greedy sinner can own and a greedy sinner can have as many creatures within their possession called out to battle as they desire.

Personality:

Quiet

-Long periods of time in the woods alone have made it hard for Stross to develop solid conversational skills. That combined with the strict discipline of militia training has lead to most of Stross's thoughts, remaining thoughts.

Independent

-Stross quickly learned to rely on himself after several incidents that he considers to be betrayals, leading to him wanting to be able and to do things for himself.

Calm

-Long practice and hours spent preforming dangerous tasks have left Stross with assurance in himself, as well as enough willpower to confront any situation logically.

Selfish

- Typically does things to benefit himself over others, baring a life-or-death scenario.

Appearance:

Height:

5'10” or approximately 1.8 meters.

Eyes:

A forest green in color, in contrast to his tanned face.

Hair:

His hair, a tangled mess of brown, held together by a simple leather tie, mostly to keep it out of his eyes.

Build:

Very lean, with several days of beard growth on his face.

Clothing:

His clothes are made of animal skin and fur and while dirty, strong and well-kept.

History:

Family

- Parents are Farmers.

Education

- Learned to keep animals as well as how to use every piece of them to maximize profit.

Military

- Volunteered to be trained in the militia when He was 14(Lied about age to gain entry). He was trained by militia and after two years, discharged due to his age.

Hunting

- Carved a bow for himself and began venturing into the woods near the city in order to maximize his income

.

Betrayal

- was turned in by another member of the militia over age, in exchange for a higher position.

Abandonment

- Told not to come back to his families house do to his refusal to stop

It looks good. Your character seems to represent the ideas of Patience, Diligence and greed well.

Just to clarify, the weapon your character wields is a Celestial Artifact, that chose you to wield it. Reading your bio, it seemed like your weapon was the one you created yourself in the history. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

and, Patience/Diligence Bow was one of the combinations @Miz and I were hoping someone would take.

Yeah, I can see how that came across. I just figured it would work better if there was a reason he knew how to use a bow, plus it went with the idea of him poaching.

There was One minor update to the bio, Abilities. Just list the Spells and Abilities you recieved from your Virtues/Sins.

After that, you're approved and in.

Alright, I started with your character for some reformatting. I separated out your appearance, history, relations, and personality into groupings.

The colours mean the following:

Green

- This means the personality trait is neutral, neither virtuous or sinful. This means the history entry does not show either sin or virtue in your characters actions or decisions. This means the relationship with the person is neutral in nature and did not come about for sinful, or virtuous reasons.

Yellow

- This means the personality trait is relate-able to one of your two virtues. This means the history shows one of your virtues in your characters actions or decisions. This means the relationship with the person is built upon your virtuous actions.

Purple

- This means the personality trait is relate-able to your sin. This means the history shows your sin in your characters actions or decisions. This means the relationship with the person is built upon your sinful actions.

All abilities have had square brackets added to them []. This says the aura of the attack/ability (for example, if it says [wrath] the attack deals wrath damage or has a wrathful effect). All basic attacks are unaligned. This is important when facing opponents with resistances or immunities.

Because of the nature of the reformatting, some things look barren. I would recommend going through, and adding explanations on how a character is the way they are. What does this personality train mean? By filling out fields, you can think about these different aspects of your character and what it means for them. How they know the people in your important relations.

Your character is approved. You do not need to do any changes, or add any more. I only recommend it if you have the time and desire, as it will likely help to better visualize and understand your character by thinking more in-depth about them.
