So, I couldn't decide which summary thing to use... so have both!

Spoiler: Summary

A strange phenomenon is spreading throughout the world. The various governments around the world have come to a silent agreement to suppress all incidents and seal off any information leaks. So the general public is mostly clueless while anyone involved in an incident is dealt with in one way or another. However, nothing is absolute so even if no information is leaked. There are still plenty of rumors popping up seemingly every week about weird persons appearing and disappearing at the sites where incidents 'may have happened'.

In this RP characters have awakened certain unknown element(s) hidden within their bloodline. This naturally results in some changes in physical appearance ranging anywhere from small things like the eye, hair color change to more obvious things like arms. Rarely are there cases a full body change. Also, the history of the world will be different from reality, obviously. So its pretty much the alternate world/timeline sort of fantasy setting.

Spoiler: Alternate Summary

Strange things are happening. New rumors pop up almost weekly about incidents with human and humanoid monsters. Although, it can be brushed off as the norm of our society to create stories. However, what do you do when you yourself start to notice a change in your appearance? How do you explain your eyes changing colors? Or other changes to your body? And what about the newfound ability you possess that strangely seems similar to beings of myth and legend?

If it isn't obvious yet, I rarely like my ideas enough to publicize them. So forgive me if both summaries suck. But if somehow any of you out there are interested please feel free to ask any questions you have since given that I know myself well. I'm sure there will likely be some.

By effects do you mean the changes in appearance? Or abilities that come with the changes?

Yes, powers and any changes in appearance are directly connected to what your char's hidden element in the bloodline hails from.
