Oh, how she hated the sand. If only it would stay where it was meant to be I then wouldn't mind it, I might have even liked the sand. Yet no one had ever taught it how to behave. Ira shacked her head slightly at this thought, a smile playing on her lips. Showed just what happened to the mind when company was nonexistent, something which was expected when one is the middle of nowhere.
Out of all the places the faction could have sent her, it just had to be Jakku. Some protection this will be, it wouldn't be long before she cooked under this sun.
Ira pulled at the cloth that was covering her face, it was grey and made of a light fabric yet did little to stop this heat that was threatening to turn her into a puddle. It was an understatement to say that she missed the cold of her home.
Ira made her way down the hill of sand that kept on slipping around under her feet. Just another reason for her dislike of sand. The only other thing there was that could match up to the sand was a gorgeous blue sky. Ira made a point to keep on looking up at the sky every so often, she never knew just when someone might be coming for. The First Order to take her prisoner, or her faction to take her back home.
Ira had been lucky, or unlucky that she hadn't seen something in the sky so far. When she looked up at the sky all of that changed. A black spot left a track of blackened smoke across the sky as it fell down to this wasteland. She let out a sigh, there went her peace but at least she would now be getting some action.
Ira quickly made her way to the bottom of the hill where her land vehicle was located, stumbling as the sand shifted under her feet. It was time to see who this new unfortunate soul was.
