If he could get away with sleeping through the years, he would. He was raised as a replacement for the head of the Nyström family, a Swedish royal family in it's community of vampires, though it's rumored he was exiled from the family manor for "unruly" behavior. Not that it's just rumor, Soren now awaits the day he can assume the station as the head of the Nystrom family.

I was born early and was expected to die. When I did survive everyone thought it was an act of God except my father. Three years later he attempted to kill me by cutting me in half but was caught by my mother. He was arrested and convicted of child abuse and attempted Murder. When I was 12 my mother remarried. My new step father was kind and sweet and caring.... For a while. When i turned 13 he started sexually assaulting me. He continued this at least twice a week for about 2 months until I ran away. Eventually met Lucia bell and promised to meet her at the house she was going to.
