Fantasy Blood Night The Human Vampire War

"Isn't it just fantastic how one who boasts knowledge is so easily outsmarted and overpowered?" Marthur's smirk grew to a glowing white grin such as the one worn by the Cheshire cat himself, his eyes glowing above his sly mouth in the darkness of night. "Even at full power I could outrun you, Elderblood... Any day~"

Marthur fell from the tree, landing one foot at a time with immense grace in his movement, approaching the two, "I never took you for a sadist, Cayle~" The man said with a soft chuckle, his grin widening eerily to reveal his extended fangs, "Is this simply the vampire in you speaking? Either way, I must tell that would give us more in common than the blood of vampires." He spoke, quite pleased by the boy's attitude.

Salome listened at the two. She slowly closed her eyes remembering her captivity from humans a few years back... The torture, the pain, the starvation... The begging. This time she'd rather let them do whatever they want. She was too numb and humiliated to care. Salome would gladly accept the physical pain than beg for her own life. She didn't care.... She was too far gone to care.

"I didn't want to be one, I was forced to slowly." He said, looking down, but chuckling at the weak vampire who had tried to rip his head off with her fangs.
"Look at you fallen, stuck at the ground." Cayle chuckled bringing a blood bag toward her. "Open your mouth, you won't go through torture nor abuse here."

"Mm... I would love to see such a snide woman see the error of her foolish ways, wouldn't you? He sighed, "As a pacifist, however... I'd rather see her learn from this mistake... Is that foolish of me, Cayle?" He said, the mere thought of blood disgusting the sane part of him and pulling him back out of his... Beast mode, "Can't you learn? What's another ounce of knowledge in your mind?" He asked, the flame of curiosity shining in his dark eyes.

Salome weakly turned her face away from the blood bag. She had no intention to be pitied on, she didn't need anyone's help... She can't trust anyone. She was once betrayed by a human friend.... Not anymore. Not again. "Get the hell away from me." She said lazily and closer her eyes. The memories were still fresh.... As if 50 years ago only happened yesterday...

Cayle hold her face still and forced the human blood down her mouth. "Trust me, you won't be betrayed here. I'm a friend." He smiled.
He gave her half and offered the other half to Marthur. "You must be thirsty." Cayle said, putting it in his hands.

Marthur knelt down beside her to brush some hair from her face, "Don't be so cross~" His expression softened, he truly did wish to see her change for the better, he glanced over at Cayle as he forced her to drink, he'd had a change of heart from earlier, when he was so quick to try and kill. That was when he was handed blood, gagging and handing it back, "I'm sorry I can't-" The man stood on shaky legs and quickly stumbled over to the bushes nearby, becoming ill on the spot and weak in the knees. "Dammit..." He hissed, coughing a bit at the awful taste at the back of his throat.

With her normal strength she could probably be able to resist the new vampire's girp, but as of this moment she was weak... too weak. Instead she gulped the warm blood and closed her eyes as the pain from the burn eased...till there was no more pain at all. Slowly she felt her entire body boost in strength, her eyes opened back in crimson red, but quickly turned back to its normal light blue color. When the pack was empty, she realized all her strength was back. She was now strong and good as new. With a grunt she pulled the chains and quickly broke it and slowly stood up. From one after the other she eyed the two vampires infront of her. "You expect a 'thank you' I presume?"

Marthur looked over his shoulder, "That shit's nasty... How could you handle that?" He muttered, spitting on the ground before he turned.

"Thank you? Fine. But I won't say it.. in return I won't kill you." Salome said with finality and looked at the slightly year older vampire. "And you?"

"You just said it, granny~" Marthur smirked a moment before gagging again though not quite enough to become ill again, he approached the two once more, face more pale than before. "Uck, that's nasty!"

"Uhuhuhu, bite me~" Marthur giggled playfully and stuck out his tongue, "You think a slap scares me? That's cute." He teased, poking Cayle's cheek, "Isn't that adorable, ElderBlood?"He found this response to his joking to be quite humorous, and would tease Cayle every time he responded poorly to his humor. The man only wanted fun, what was everyone's issue in Sicily? Odd folk, they were.

Josephine bolted upright, her breath becoming ragged before she took her hair down and held the ribbon from it. She slowly stood, groaning softly at the pain in the joints before grabbing the book that was now on the floor and putting it away. Her vision was still blurry but hear a few people in the distance. She looked up to the tent she he in and rubbed her eyes. She tired not to be loud as she approached the group, but she just figured they'd notice her anyway.

She watched them , this time in the open, and held both her hands in front of her.

Adelaide unfolded her arms from around her, gazing around at her surroundings. As she became aware of her situation she relaxed, she smiled to herself about the events of the night prior. She crawled out of the cave she had taken shelter in and walked through the forest. Smiling to herself that she witnessed the birth of a new vampire and that it meant one less human to fight.

Claude had finally overcome his migraine, and was now heading back in the direction of the taunting vampire, ready to give him a piece of his mind for calling him an otaku. He was a fan of anime and manga, but it was to the detriment of nothing, it was just another part of him! As he walked he realized these 'beasts' hadn't gone more than a mile, even with their strength and speed they were still in sight, "What the hell are you people still doing here?" He grumbled, slightly grouchy from his earlier head pain.

Adelaide steps out of the cave, past Cayle and out into the woods. She tried not to wake him since the first days are always the hardest.

Cayle got up a few minutes later with an overwhelming first and immediately ran into the woods to hunt. These woods are dense with deer and he ran into one later, jumping on it and sucking it's blood.
