@Newtype well what part of the fullbring do you like. Is it the having an object that can transform into something, because honestly i could see something like that being used before you realize you have shinigami powers and it doesnt have to be full bring persay


Basically finding a relic, the origin would be up to you. And as you use said relic to defend family, people, for what ever reason your character has, it could slowly draw out your shinigami power that is dormant inside of you. After that happens you would still have access to said relic using it with any other power you have. And also remember you dont have to start out fully powered. The most fun part of roleplaying is character development.


The biggest thing i dont like about fullbring is the skill itself feels like a ripoff. But if you made an item that essentially functions the same, why not? To top it off. fullbring powers can be stolen from you, and if Orikanyo were to make a full bring, challenge you to a fight and win, you would lose your power, permenantly. No iff ands or butts. and honestly im not really ok with another character stealing someones power even if you agree to it.
 
Basically. by using the relic it would draw abilities and then at some point youll need to realize you have power, probably with the help of everyone elses character and then figure out how to achieve it.
 
So if we're playing formal shinigami what kinda restrictions would we have history wise? Also how do humans get shinigami powers?

@Newtype Like his powers much better. Only issue i see is that if the dog tag turns out to be his Asauchi, when he gains his shinigami powers, you will lose the relic as it will turn into your sword. it can be resealed into a dog tag, it just dont be something original, and if you were to lose it, then you would basically not have a weapon till you get it back.


Id like to know what your planning for your releases, but if you wish to do that at a later date, its cool. Also might want to let me know whats up with your father via PM we can probably integrate him into the story.

A simple question, jsut abit of a clarification really. humans have developed anti spiritual weaponry, would this weapon be up to us to create and modify to our will or is there specific diagrams that must be met for it to classify of such? Needed symbology or and other things is basically what i'm asking for.

I see you updated your sheet. I appreciate it, just tag me next time so i know when you did it. After some thought. i like that your ability increases regen. Blood is always an interesting thing to play with. Instead of your bankai not being blood, lets make it that it multiples your blood like ten fold. Think of it like Senbon zakura. Gives you a constant amount of blood that surrounds you and a huge amount of it and can be modified and used as you see fit. You dont have to add skills, but being that it is blood, and its infused with your chakra, heat will not dry it, unless opponent is SUPER stronger than you. but it can be frozen. Also id like to see some biological attacks. you can use it like water, but i want to see you being creative with it. Make these last few edits to your description in your sheet and youre good to go.

No nice way to say this, so i wont beat around the bush. Denied. Your character will not be approved and such an overpowered ability will never be accepted not even with adjustment.


Now, since i sound like an asshole, ill explain why.


The Good: Your character sheet is great. It has great detail, and i fully understood his power. You did a great job of creating the character.


The Bad: That type of character is more for a marvel type of universe. Look up some of the super heroes that were made to represent Stan Lee and the other producers. They are over powered and its meant to just kind of be a joke. They annihilate anything and everything without a second glance.


The Ugly: Now the nitty gritty.


First is his basic power. With the ability to instantly analyze, comprehend and know a persons flaws, this is what your character will do to every opponent, every time, no questions asked.

You would be able to one hit kill a character in the first 5 seconds of any fight, player, npc, or enemy. This is not OK


For the next part of his power.

The same is true for nearly "higher energy" form, since the basis for any spiritual being using spiritual abilities is will connecting to that energy source and directing, it too can be cut.

Shinigami, and hollows, by all rights, are a soul, wrapped in a ball of energy that is their physical body. With the above sentence alone, your character can separate and disconnect said soul from said energy, instantaneously. This renders any player character, villain, and npc obsolete in a mere moment of time. Even for a human, you can separate their soul, which is essentially energy, from their fleshy body. The reason i can prove this is how Ichigo turns into soul reaper, his badge separates the two. However, you can instantly break that chain, killing said person, and absorbing them without a second glimpse. And again this is not OK.


In the End:


Again, your character sheet is great. You have great wording and he is interesting, but this is not the roleplay for him. I will not accept such an overpowered ability and unfortunately there is no way to tone him down. Feel free to make a new character and try again.


As a note:


If i catch anyone making rude comments to Genma, i will auto eject you from the RP, no questions asked. It sucked getting a character denied when you put much time effort and love into them. As such i will not have you disrespecting anyone that gets denied. Period.

No problem, I left it really open ended. The power the only problem? Tck easy fix. I just figured I'd try, but I guess it's too much. I'll just fix the items in history and change abilities. Will post again when fixed.
 
Sorry but I can't it would contradict Ichiro's history. (Histories for my characters will be added to my character sheets if requested. Otherwise I'd like to reveal them in the story)
 
@Newtype, that character being your dad, should be left to npc. Make it to where as we fled away from soul society, he was the hero that headed back into it. He went to save people.
 
We'd need to adjust our stories then, my character did not survive or live through any slaughter. So, maybe my character could be an adoptive father or something along those lines.
 
Your character is like 700 years old shinigami and they were slaughtered a couple hundred years prior to rp start, so your character if he's a shinigami older than 200 he had to have survived the slaughter according to the overview.
 
My apologies, I didn't catch the overview, anyway, I guess that's fine.
