Captain Hibari was born in the slums of the Soul Society. He made a name for himself at age 6 when he fought against Hollows with a dead Shinigami's broken sword. From there, he was trained in the academy until he was of age to become a Soul Reaper. He rose to power as the battle against Quincies raged on, slaughtering hundreds of them to prove his power.

Personality:
It's hard to tell what emotions Xia is feeling, she isn't one to go about expressing it. In fact, the type of aura you get from her is mature, serious, and even scary if you're alone with her like this(though she doesn't mean to appear as such). She is strict with rules and aims for perfection, and it's nearly impossible to get her to break these said rules; she believes that they're there for a reason, not for you to just do as you please anyways. This is why she is basically at the head captain's beck and call, following orders given out by him, knowing that these will help to their cause.
She is noted for her high intelligence(this includes strategy) and speed, but her resistance and attack is lower compared to her other stats.
She is a huge loner, she enjoys being alone and having peace and quiet (at least by what she says), being in a tranquil atmosphere is something she loves. She has been alone most of her life, she always thought she was seen as "a demon brought from hell to bring destruction upon the world" after the incident with her family.
She's more of a character with a deadpan humor.
Bio(optional):
Before she died and her soul went to the Soul Society, Xia lived in a small village in China. She was shunned here for years; people thought she was a demon sent from hell since she was the baby of a woman who had an affair with her husband. She survived for a couple of years, but around the age of 8, the village decided to finally take action, and she was buried alive to calm the 'demon' that she was. Being buried alive is also the only memory she has that she seems to have held on to for so long, it's the scariest moment she had ever felt in her life. It also adds on to her fear of claustrophobia and being buried alive.
However, the people of this village were wrong, and she was just an innocent girl. A couple weeks after this incident, a soul reaper found her and made her soul go to the Soul Society, and to District 32. Xia, now having no family or home, was accepted in by an adoption home, and lived there her whole time in the district. She was very shy and quiet, since she felt these people hated her as well; this is what caused her to be alone for a while. Couples who tried coming in to see who to adopt could never get a word out of her, and eventually people stopped coming to see her, and her fellow adoptionees started leaving her alone. She eventually found her own quiet place to sit at and be alone.
However, after a little while of living here, there was one person who started coming around and hanging out with her, even through all of her silence, Daisuke, the son of the person in charge of the adoption center. He sat with her and talked to her almost every day at the same set time he made, even with no response from Xia. After a couple of months, Xia finally spoke to him, asking him why he kept coming back, receiving the response that he didn't like seeing people alone, and that he wanted to be her friend. That day was the day Xia decided she would finally try and accept this person into her life, and she finally told her her name and a bit of info about herself. After this, they started hanging out more frequently, and she felt like she could trust him, even with her own life. She started smiling more around her, and she felt complete.
After many years, Daisuke suggested to join the academy, and, since he was her only friend, she happily agreed. And so they did. Daisuke's goal by joining this academy was to get high grades and be a captain after seeing one in person visit the academy. Xia hoped to be a first lieutenant and work alongside Daisuke, she didn't care for being as powerful as a captain. Around a year later, their group was assigned to fighting hollows for the first time, and Xia, of course, went with Daisuke. Daisuke went out by himself for a bit while Xia took a quick break, already feeling exhausted even after a few hours. Around 15 minutes later, however, Daisuke came running back with fear spread across his face and she asked what was the matter. Before he could answer, however, Daisuke suddenly went still, falling to the ground with a stab wound through his chest. Xia didn't know what had happened, it all happened so quickly, and she was paralyzed with fear. And, suddenly, her right shoulder was slashed, and she fell to the ground as well, eventually becoming unconscious, still trying to comprehend what just happened.
After gaining consciousness and learning of her friend's death, she fell even more into her state of depression, and she became that quiet girl that she was in the beginning. A couple months after Daisuke's death, she thought to herself for a while, and she decided that mourning over his death like this will not honor him. She decided to try her hardest in the academy, and she would aim for a captain's position, just like Daisuke had wanted to do. She soon became one of the smartest people of her group, and soon she graduated from Shino Academy with flying colors. She was still rather weak, being a new shinigami, so she was made an unseated member of Squad 13. Through all of the changes in seat numbers and the work she was doing, she started becoming more and more stoic and serious, gaining an official and strong aura that people started noticing. She wanted people to look up to her and think of her as a strong person, and she wanted to be a good influence on the people around her. However, this didn't change her poor conversation skills.
After the position for squad 3 opened up after Aizen's betrayal, Xia was assigned to be the captain of squad 3 after being previous member of squads 6 and 10, and she has been captain since.
She still remembers the last thing Daisuke told her. "Betrayal."

Name: Hi no Akuma (Demon of Fire)
Shikai:
Hi no Akuma's shikai release phrase is Tsuku (?? "Possess"), And it transforms into the picture shown above. All of her moves are fire based moves, but the flames are blue.
Shikai Moves:
Hinotama ??? (Ball of Fire): With this move, Xia points her sword at the directed target and shoots a small flame at them. If it reaches and touches the opponent, they will suddenly be stuck in a ball of fire that went around the person when it attached to them. the inside of the flames is hollow, while around it is a sphere of flames. When trapped inside, the person can not attack outside the sphere. However, no one can attack inside the sphere, either. The only way damage is dealt is if the person inside the sphere touches the flaming walls.
It is difficult to successfully use this move. When the indication is said
and the flame leaves the sword, it can only go straight where Xia has pointed, and it can not move anywhere else. This move can go straight forever until hitting an inanimate object (cancelling the move if it's an object), or accidentally wrapping around another living thing. The only way to cancel this move is by either Xia slashing the sphere open with her sword or Xia going unconscious.
This move is mostly a defensive move, but can be a very great move if used strategically.
Hon?noken (??? "Flaming Sword"): While saying the indication, Xia slides her thumb and index finger down the sharp edge of her blade, the flames following her fingers. When finished, her sword is engulfed in flames.
This is not an offensive move, but is used to boost of Xia's stats. It mostly raises her attack/strength, while it somewhat raises her resistance, and slightly raises her speed and defense.
Hai no f?rudo (??????? "Field of Ash"): When saying this, small flames surround a 2 miles radius, flaming lightly and causing a bunch of ash and smoke to enter the fighting area. This cuts down the opponent and Xia's visual sight. However, Xia has practiced plenty with this move, and has nearly mastered working with limited eyesight with this move.
Oniki (?? "Demon Slashing"):This move is a multi move. Xia slashes her sword in many different directions or angles, sending multiple blue fire slashes towards that direction. it is a very fast, but the farther it travels, the slower it gets. The size the slashes depends on how long Xia made her slash, ranging from around 1 meter to heights such as 30 meters. In all, it can range from tiny to huge.
Bankai:
Except handle is black, not yellow.
Own Abilities:
High Spiritual Power
Xia can easily manipulate and cover up her spiritual pressure. However, once angry or extremely agitated, it can start to be felt more and more, which is something she can't help. Though this can also be used as a way to intimidate others.
Zanjutsu Master
Xia had a difficult time trying to wield a sword, but in the end, she finally mastered it. She doesn't like using her Zanpakuto's power very often, however; she usually sees if her opponent is 'worthy' of seeing it before wasting her energy on them.
Hakuda Combatant
Xia is particularly bad a hand-to-hand combat compared to other shinigami, but she can still somewhat put up a fight with it. But she can only take so much before she is beaten.
Kido Expert
Xia uses bakudo more often than hado, it's more like a preference to her. However, though very skilled in bakudo, she is not as familiar with hado(she can still use some of its techniques, though).
Hohou Master
She typically uses her large amount of spiritual pressure with hohou by using her it to push her, making her very fast. However, this takes away energy, so she plans ahead of time when she will use it.
Enhanced Intelligence
When at the academy, all Xia did was study; it was all she felt like shecould do after her friend's death. She became quite knowledgeable about different topics, and also became good at strategizing out attacks. She has a good memory that serves her well.
Random Facts:
- There's a reason why Xia is known as the "strategist captain". She is silent during nearly every fight of hers, due to her concentrating highly on her, as well as her opponent's, movements. She is planning ahead on many of her attacks, as well as the enemy's, and talking while doing so would only ruin her concentration. Whenever feeling a bunch of emotions, such as sorrow or anger, she flings into a fight recklessly, making her moves more sloppy since she is more focused on these feelings.
- It is rare to have memories from your human life, and Xia is one of the only people to have even a small memory from it. All she remembers is being buried alive, angry faces looking down at her while she called out to her mother, who did nothing. It haunts her to this day, and no matter how much she tries to forget it, she can't. All she feels from that memory is hatred and unacceptance of her.
- Xia is fluent in Chinese, while Japanese/English is her second language. If she forgets a word in Japanese/English, she will use a Chinese word in its place and act like it's supposed to be like that. She will also throw around Chinese phrases.
- After the events of her passed friend, she declared that if in a given situation someone is in trouble/a deathly situation, she would not hesitate to help. She would even sacrifice herself if she had to.
- Xia doesn't mind being a third wheel, or just tagging along with a group of people and not talking to them. It happens pretty often, and she tends to observe her surroundings and take everything in rather than talk or listen to the people she is with. This also helps her be more alert to dangers.
- She prefers being the person in charge of everything, since she is the type of person who would have a strict schedule for everything she does. When people come in and ruin it, she takes the time to remake a new schedule, which doe annoy her.
- Since she heavily relies on speed to replace her bad resistance, she will sometimes use her spiritual pressure to push her while using shunpo. However, this takes a lot more energy out of her, so she can only do it so many times.
