Deep within the forest two clans lay divided by anger and betrail. The 100 years of conflict excalades with every passing day. The river of lost souls splits the land by the center, and far to the west side the kunto clans leader lay in his chambers. He was an old man bald and short but strong in structure. He has seen the war start as a child, with the killing of the former king putting him in power. He stood up and walked outside and called for his son. His son was skilled in the the arts of the samuri the best in the clan. Hope of the wars end would soon lie in his hands.

Far to the East side, was the Minamoto clan. The king sat in his chambers thinking. He was fairly in his middle age, tall and strong. His daughter, whom he had named Hime, was like his precious jewel. Yet he couldn't keep her from fighting, for she was the most skilled of the clan. Along with this, she was perhaps the most beautiful of the women in the clan. This only made the king want to protect her even more, for her mother had died during birth, and she was the only thing left he had. Despite this, he didn't try to keep her from fighting for she enjoyed it so. The king got up from his seat, stepping outside before calling for his beloved daughter.

The son appeared almost out of thin air his black hair lay in a pony tail keeping it out of his face. He was tall just over six foot. He wore flexible armor that could Bend and shift on his every move. The armor was a mixture of red and black and glimmered in the light of the sun. His eyes were brown but when he was in the heat of battle they would turn yellow. He surveyed the space in front of him. "Time is running out..." He leader said " in a matter of days you will take the journey to the river. It is here that you will meet the the next step in this never ending war." The leaders face grew pale. " I am getting old, and I will not rest until the war is resolved in the name of the kunto clan. I will stand in the shadows while you negotiate the means of an end. I have sent out word of the meeting, do you accept the mission ahead of you?" He stood straight "with honor my lord" the man now walked into the forest "the journey will take days we leave now if we should make it on time."

Hime had appeared in front of her father, the king, slightly bowing. Her hair was dark brown, almost black, and it went down to almost her waist. Her eyes were a piercing bright blue, and the rumor of her eyes turning red in the midst of battle had spread. Her armor was flexible and light, for she often using speed and reflex more then brute strength, though this wasnt to say she wasn't strong because that would be a lie. She was equally as strong, if not stronger, then some of the best male fighters. The king made her stand up straight then spoke, "Word has been sent that a meeting will take place at the river that splits the land. You must journey there. Of course I would go with you, though I am bound here by matters I must attend to. Be swift, and be careful." The king said last, before going back inside his chambers. Hime hesitated none as she headed into the forest, starting her journey.

The forest was thick and covered with the morning fog left overly the chilly night. The first days journey was the most enduring. The old man had not been apt to walk in the conditions since the years of his youth. After a mid day of walking the devotion was made to avoid the ground all together. The man much have been old but he had enough strength to hurl himself between the treetops. Night fall soon signaled the end of their first day endeavor and the old mans son made camp and crosses his legs as he sat down. There was another days journey until they reached the river of list souls, and they were making great time.

Hime had walked on the course she took, though when night fall came she didn't want to rest just yet. So she urged on, though didn't go too far before she sat, tracking her progress.

Corrosion soon entered his dreams. Dreams of screaming and fire haunted his sleep as he sought for peace. The night would not rest the trees creaked and wept under the strain of the winds. The wolves howled and ran about ruling the night. His eyes shot open not able to bare the intertwined commotion of forest and dream.

She had tried to rest and succeeded for the must part, though the howling of the wolves made her uneasy, afraid she would be attacked or ambushed by something.

He spent the rest of his night in darkness practicing his form of tai chi. The sun started to rise as the old man woke. "We need to continue our journey father" he said with his legs crossed and his eyes closed.

As soon as the sun began to rise she was on the move once more, wasting no time while being light on her feet.

They both took to the treetops again as they came closer to the river side. His father sayed behind high in the trees. He stood by the riverside. It flowed and bound like a raging stream crystal blue.

Within no time she had arrived at the riverside, standing at the edge as she then looked across to see a lone man. She didn't know what she was supposed to expect, so she peered past him to look for anyone of anything that may have been hiding in the trees though didn't happen to see anyone.
