(( For now i'm going to be opening with Wrenn and Travis since they have to be there in the beginning. Just so we can get things started. ))
Wrenn impatiently tapped her foot against the foyer's newly polished wood floor. She had spent far too long going through applications to have all of the Children of Eve be late. Wrenn began to pace, a habit she had picked up when Eve wouldn't show up on time. She ran her fingers through her hair and checked her wrist watch once more; three o'clock. They were suppose to arrive at two, but with just discovering their powers... Who knows what could've happened?
Wrenn shook her head silently, no. She would wait patiently and be the guide they needed. She had to be, it's not exactly like they had a mother anymore. Wrenn tried to list off a few things she knew she would need, gloves, chains, paint... Her thoughts were interrupted by a chuckle from the corner of the room.
"You're stressing over nothing. The Children of Eve will find their way here with no problem."
Travis walked over to her and kissed the top of her head, a gesture that caused a wave of peace to wash over her.
"Trust me," He spoke, bringing her to the front door of the manor. "They'll love it here and you'll be great."
Wrenn smiled at Travis, knowing he was right, he always was. The old manor creaked under their footsteps and she began to wonder if the Children would like it. The manor was old and located in the middle of the woods, much like a horror movie although it did serve its purpose. To keep the Children of Eve hidden from anyone would hurt them.
