No, I like him even less! XP The ones I really like are the three chibis~ too kyute~ ;3 I just am curious what will happen in the story and I wanna learn more about their world (mostly so I can rp it a bit better and get a feel for any canon characters.)

honestly it would make more sense if this was taking place after the series or was a alternate version....it's harder to do fan rps of these types of manga unless you do that sort of thing considering it would be hard to place canon characters in here...also when are we starting the rp again???

I'd imagine that'll happen around Friday or Saturday, considering I'm pretty bogged down with work this week.

This is an alternate universe, so if there are cannon characters, they don't have to be the same or something. And the whole main events of the book, that happen from book 1 onwards, are discluded from the rp.

Kannushi are often somewhat the equivalent of miko in a sense, having been originally intermediaries between gods and could transmit their will to common humans, as in a man capable of miracles or a holy man who, because of his practice of purificatory rites, was capable to work as a medium for a god.
That said, will powers associated with this status be allowed for my character to possess or are the yokai in the roleplay the only ones to share that privilege, as it were?

There is a similar such character in the manga, Raikoh Watanabe.
He's human, but works at a shrine (he has the sight, and some... less than happy feelings towards demons), although he himself doesn't have any powers to speak of, he has a sword that has purification qualities and more, water from the shrine that is poisonous to demons, and he does perform a... certain spell.......
I'll keep this relatively spoiler free, so I won't elaborate much for that sake, and the manga is relatively vague, considering he's a very minor character in the scheme of things.
So, to answer your question... Kind of. I know I'm not being very helpful, sorry, but I guess they sort of do have powers... Although not their own.

Should I tell you what powers I had in mind for my character, just in case? In a PM, to avoid spoilers from your part here? I do not wish to bother you of course, I can just leave it for when the skeleton for the CS is up.
I may not be able to reply for awhile, I have to go off and do that work I mentioned I had... ;-;
Even if I've been multitasking on here and doing it, I kinda need to crack on properly. XD
But as soon as I come back, you shall have my almost undivided attention!
