Flaming Ice Queen
There exists a world, unseen by human eyes, a world which intersects ours and only a special few can see it. This world is full of demons and monsters, myth and magic. Some demons are mindless beasts, vermin that only seek to destroy and devour, others are sentient, and vary from being pure evil, and the kindest of souls.
Humans can see these sentient beings, who live and work among us.
A very select few humans can see this world, only a handful per generation, and if they reveal that they can see this hidden world, they would be considered insane. But, this world doesn't pose any more physical threat to them than it does other humans.
Once every 100 years, a human woman is born who's blood will heal and grant incredible powers, whose flesh will grant immortality, and if a demon makes her his bride will be the ruler of the demon realm! She is the Senka Maiden, and her identity will be revealed on her 18th birthday, when all demons will fight to kill her, or protect her...
Modern day Japan, demons eagerly await the arrival of the Senka Maiden, but this time there is a surprise, this year... There are two!
So, I've wanted to make an rp on this manga for awhile, as I really like the lore. You don't need to know anything about it, as it will be set in an alternative universe, and I'm going to tweak a few things to make it fit.
But this is a story about yokai, Japanese mythology, gore, horror, adventure and probably some romance!
Some roles include;
Demons (sentient) - I'll post a long list of yokai later on, but some included will be Tengu, Kisune, Tsuchigumo, Nekomata, Shirohebi and many, many more!
*Note - These demons aren't your run of the mill kind, they have quite specific traits (depending on the type) but they are known to be dazzlingly beautiful... (More info to come~)*
Humans - I'd imagine most are going to be demons, but I did mention a select few humans could see the demon world! Some who can see this world become hunters, protectors for humanity, workers at shrines, fall in love with a demon (whether requited or not...), or maybe all of the above!
*Note - In the manga a character named Renko is a protector of sorts, and she's also engaged to a powerful kitsune, Tadanobu!*
Senka Maiden - I'm currently reserving both slots, one to be taken by myself, the other possibly by a friend, but if it becomes free, then I'll be giving it away to someone!
Both original and cannon characters will be accepted! Please tell me if you want a cannon character, so I can reserve them for you~
