BioGenesis: Safe House and Survival

Can anyone catch me up? theirs like 10 pages i missed while i was gone. 
This role play moves to fast. I'm sorry, but i have to drop out.
 
Okay guys, this RP is very fast paced and has a lot of members. The speed will die down once the House is established, but stay tuned for an important announcement regarding how we're going to manage it all, with so many people and so many different time zones :3 



IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT


Hey guys! So this role-play is very, very fast-paced. Part of that is because it's the start of a new and pretty big multi-character role-play. I think it will slow down once we're established in the house, but for now I've been talking with some of the members that have addressed it, and an idea has come up. We need to have some sort of management so people don't get left behind. For now, this seems to be the best solution.


There are some people online more than others, and also people in completely different time zones...some of us are going to bed when others are just starting the day. So, we have talked about getting a few people in different zones as "updaters".


Updaters would be people that are active in the RP...they would post status reports right here in OOC when they come online, alerting people to what's going on in the RP. I'm looking for several updaters because there's not really one set person who could do this, what with all our schedules being very different. At the end of the day, I'll post in the Log of Events (in the first post of the RP) a summary of the status reports. That way, when players log on, they can check OOC and Event Log for status updates, so no one is in the dark.


SO! Would any of you be interested in being an updater? PM me so we can talk! Also, if any of you have any other ideas on how to manage this RP, please let me know by shooting me a PM. Anything is helpful!

So i really want Timmy to have a love life!, but that's really hard when his gay and one of few remaining survivors lol.
 

Status Report #1 for the City:


Mel, Chana, Colton, Takai, and Jaden are all out in the street.


Chana and Mel met Colton before hearing an explosion go off, a looter's trap trigger by Takai. They all go and help fend of Compromised, and one rips up Chana's side. The rapist looters who owned the trap show up. One tries to take Mel, but Chana shoots him in the leg. It doesn't faze him. Chana and Mel devise a plan. Chana distracts the leader so he lowers his gun, and shoots him in the chest. The gun gets thrown to Mel. They all kill the remaining looters. Mel has a crisis about easily killing people, and Chana and Takai both console her. Takai shows a bit of his kind side by helping bandage up wounds with his coat. Colton gathers supplies from the looters.


The wounds are as follows: Mel has a cut on her head plus bruising on her arm coupled with deep but stitched gashes from earlier, Jaden has lots of bits of debris stuck in him. Chana has a Compromised-caused flesh wound on her side, and her arm was nicked deeply by a bullet. Takai has an infected bite, but he hasn't shown any symptoms of the T103 Biocide virus yet.


They're getting ready to return to the shelter.

Status Report Number One for the House


Overview of the most major points, since yesterday (June 24th)


Cally, Indigo, Noctis, Vladimir, Asher, Timmy [partly], Skye, Ruka and Bruno are inside the House.





While Cally is resting from the previous attack, she leaves Skye's side to search for the identity of someone descending the stairs, which eventually turns out to be Vladimir. Forming an unlikely, and perhaps temporary, alliance, they struggle to figure out each-other's identities. While that is happening, Ruka finds a bag of supplies, and wants them badly. To distract Vladimir, she throws a small blade at his neck, stealing the supplies and runs out to the dumpsters. Cally runs in that direction, leading the pair out to the dumpsters as well, where a Compromised attack happens. Blood-deprived and exhausted, Ruka and Cally go back in, while Ruka collapes somewhere in the house, leaving Cally to herself, in the Atrium. While that is going on, Noctis runs into some trouble, calling out for someone to help. Indigo goes to find him, becoming his companion. When Cally wakes up from her slumber, she answers a few questions before being approached by Skye, whom she had attended to when she had a fever and delusions. Cally has a nightmare, leaving her in a vulnerable position. Upon waking, Timmy returns to the House, bringing news of a haul of supplies, but a Sick Camp. He insists that Cally comes, but Cally would only join him if the rest of the group would come with her. So, she gathers everyone she knows of at the moment, and readies themselves to leave. However, Asher calls out at the last moment, and eventually joins the group on their walk towards the haul apartment. They split up into groups, one with Timmy, Cally, Skye, and Asher, and the others are still deciding on their positions.

STATUS UPDATE:


Characters: Chana, Takai, Mel, Bruno, Delsin, Jaden, Colton, Daisuke, and Blake


Location: Safehouse


Time Frame: Late Evening


As they finished off the group of looters, the group led by Chana hastily began their journey back to the safehouse, during which a thunderstorm began to brew. Upon arriving at their destination, they were confronted by two men, Delsin, a former domestic terrorist, and Blake a younger man just evicted from his shelter by looters. After an exchange of words, Delsin and Blake were offered a chance to stay, so the group then proceeded up to the front door, where Chana found a note from Cally. The note stated that Cally took a large group of the survivors, which included Asher, out to find supplies. Enraged, Chana stated that she was going out into the storm, after which Takai and Mel confronted her, urging her not to commit such a reckless act. Takai stormed into the building in anger, while the others eventually followed. At this point, Daisuke (finally ;P) made his way into the safehouse and was permitted to stay by Chana, who was too emotionally exhausted to think.


At this point, Jaden made his way to the generator room to get some rest, and Bruno, who'd been asleep, woke up and greeted Mel and Chana downstairs. Mel, who waved off Bruno, guided a distraught Chana to a nearby bedroom to attend to the young woman's wounds, upon which she discovered the scar Chana had been attempting to hide. Farther into the safehouse, Takai, in a confused emotional state, found a quiet place in the Auditorium to sort out his feelings and thoughts, until his brooding was interrupted by Delsin. After a snide but casual remark, Takai became enraged, attempting to shoot and kill Delsin, only to miss and become even angrier. After storming out into the hallway, almost tackling Bruno and breaking his finger after nearly striking her down Takai continued his rampage down the hallway.


Delsin retrieved Takai's .44 revolver, and went outside for a drink, while at the same time Takai barged in upon Mel and Chana. Her emotions finally boiling over, Chana confronted Takai and slapped him, peaking his anger to its limits. Daisuke, who'd been watching the entire event transpire, looked on as Takai pressed her against the wall, but just he was about to kill her with his machete, he had a change of heart from seeing Chana's scar. Now Takai is having a mental breakdown.

There is a status update in the posts above, so I'd read those, that should give you an idea what's going on, I'd also read some of the most recent posts =)


A group of characters is in the Safehouse, so if you want your character to head there that might be a good way to go.
 
I'm heading out of town for a few days, and I haven't been that active in the rp anyways, so I'm just going to retire from it. Keep up the good story lines though! It's been really fun to read.
 

SAFE HOUSE STATUS UPDATE FOR THE EVENING 6/27/14


Takai and Chana have a brief moment of understanding. Asher is returned back with Cally. Chana hurries over, overjoyed to see her brother but furious at Cally. The two women start arguing loudly, Dr. Colton breaking up the fight. Chana left with Asher and found Mel, and the two of them are bonding while getting their wounds fixed up. Cally is currently talking with Colton, and Takai has struck out on a walk by himself with Jaden quickly finding him. Blake is somewhere in the house, yet to be discovered. Delsin has wandered outside of the house into the rain.
