Chitchat Biggest RP pet peeve?

When you get several dozen people interested in your RP and then no one posts when it's ready then it dies shortly thereafter.

For those out there, how about when you express interest be sure you are committed to the RP or else you just need to FO and not waste my fucking time?!

There are many annoying things roleplayers can do :P but I dislike it the most when my partner tries to control my character, whether it be in small or big ways, just don't do it!

Biggest pet peeve: when your character does not follow the flow of the story. The GM is quite obviously pushing the story in one direction, and what you have is tried to make a spectacle fo your character. It's really annoying when people refuse to read what others post because they care so much about what they have to say.

My biggest pet peeve is being ignored in a roleplay either by the characters or by the actual users.... Why do people feel the need to do that? It's rude and it's extremely hurtful.. And I have people who will message me for a 1x1 multiple times and always end up disappearing on me without a word, and even when I ask them if they're still interested or not, they won't even respond with a simple "no", and I can see they're on because they're replying to other people, etc... Or during an interest check, I'll reply to a thread, and they'll ignore my post and respond to someone else's, and it's like, I would honestly prefer someone tell me that they hate me and never want to roleplay with me ever again, than just have that blatant ignorance... Just flat out tell me that you're not interested or you don't like the way I write, etc.

When someone claims to have read your request thread but they haven't apparently.

A story that has no plot.

When someone makes everything about there character. Like you give the person time to get there back story out but when you try to explain your own they keep trying to bring it back to what their character is dealing with and how their problem is worse or something. It's like, I gave you your time to explain your character can you give me my time now.

Partners getting it in their head that you don't like their writing just because you haven't specifically gushed about it. If I'm replying frequently and putting in effort, that ought to be enough to suggest I like what you're doing. Fishing for compliments gets irritating quick.

I feel you so hard.

Yes!

Guess I could do something similar here! Um, I can't exactly call it a peeve, because I guess it doesn't make me angry. But, when people respond to something, and then...well never respond again xD. (Especially, when they request a message a day o.o) My mind worries xD

You mean like when they trap you in a conversation and you can't move and they leave for a 3 week vacation/forever?

Eh, I mean like for example, we go through the arduous task of coming up with something, got the thing settled, the characters out....and then boom. Nothing. They'll come online, respond to everything else, but I just get lost in the sea of time xD. It's a bit disheartening, maybe I just scare people off ^^

You.
are.
a.
bunny.
How do you scare people away?

Well it doesn't seem like it here, but I do end up drowning people in 7+ paragraphs in OOC almost every post, cause I tend to blabber and have my mind run, so...that might be it xD
Oh.

That's how.
Well... I suppose I could see that happening.
I would feel pressured to reply with at least half of that, so I would choose to not reply at all or do 4+ paragraphs.
