Video Games Biggest blunders in your time gaming

Got a more recent one from Witcher 3. You know those gases that if you light them they instantly combust? Well, I accidentally hit the R2 button while I had Igni equiped and...well, here's the video. Better to show than tell IMO.

This just happened.

Playing Kirby Planet Robobot and I'm going through the True Arena as that's the last thing I need to do. I picked the Archer ability because I can become 100% immune to any attack in the whole game simply by ducking and keeping still, which makes it relatively easy to avoid getting hit. Well, I of course mess up quite a bit and take damage anyway, so by the time I get to the last boss, my health is getting low and I'm out of recovery items. During the last boss, I take some more hits and my health is so low I literally cannot see it in the bar. No exaggeration. I manage to beat the last boss only to find there's still ONE MORE BOSS. Still don't get any health items, so I have to face this bar without taking a single hit. By some miracle, I beat it without getting hit. But...then it starts exploding in a last ditch effort to screw me over. So, I duck, because that makes me immune to anything.

....except for last ditch explosions meant to screw me over. I died...AFTER I won. And so I lost. At the very very end.........

I'm done with this game for now...
Marx Soul in KSSU was a similar deal to me. Galacta Knight either screws me over or gets my health so low that Marx screws me over instead....but that's worse. I feel you man.

Just for the record I did manage to go back and properly beat it with a little more health by the end.

I managed to get to the end of "The Perfect Run" in Super Mario Galaxy 2. The last screen has Roslina congratulating you and the final star of the game. I saw that the edge was blocked off with a fence, and being the genius I am, I decided to jump over the fence, thinking that gravity would flip me onto the bottom of the disc-like planet I was on. But I instead kept on falling and died in a black hole. It took me a week to get back to that point (that mission is really difficult). I made sure to grab the star as quickly as I could.

My early days of overwatch...

"This game must be like call of duty, I'm going to get a bunch of kills"

Everyone I play with seems to have this mentality, and I used to. Like... Overwatch is basically a first person Moba.

A shameful moment in gaming for me have to be overwriting my FTL save by accident right when I'm on the last boss
