long enough for people to get use to it.I have a question before I get started. How long ago (in-world) did the worlds merge or have settings messed with by now, and how much longer after that before T'Challa became the new leader of Vacunda? I already have the rest of my character figured out. I just need a timeline to work with for part of the backstory.
long enough for people to get use to it.
Years actually. So sometime in the nebulous recent past, but not years?
Youngest Fab Fairy Lilliana
"That's where we're going. Yes, I'm talking to you. Who else would I be talking to?"
"Hm, I'm not going to lose!"
"Aren't I great?"
Universe From:
Gender:
Female
Species:
Elf/Fairy
Bio:
One of the three sisters that protects the Elven Retreat. Her and her sisters were put to the test when the malignant Dark Lord threatened the town, and although they managed to fend him off once, the second attack from him rendered both of Lillian's elder sisters faceless. After the adventuring heroes rescued the faces of both older sisters (the middle one with Lillian's help), the eastern gate was opened up via a group dance. This unfortunately opened up the town to an attack from the Dark Lord yet again, allowing him to steal the faces of the residents of Elven Retreat along with Lillian's. Thankfully the heroes managed to rescue all of the victims' faces, and afterwards the fairies utilized their magic to reveal the path to Karkaton. Lillian regularly returned to the Traveler's Hub to force the adventurers to aid her quest in finding sweets. It's unclear what made either of the all-powerful entities decide that this bratty little fairy was precisely what they needed.
Personality:
Lillian is certainly a character. Bratty, childish, and prone to antics, it's some kind of miracle that she has a fan in the Elven Retreat. She gets angry when she grows tired of things, stuff doesn't go her way, or her sisters are harmed/threatened. Lillian is very self-centered and somewhat egotistical, quick to praise herself when she downs a monster with the party of heroes. She heavily dislikes salad due to eating it so often, and loves sweet things like chocolate rocks and devil's food cake to the point of going to dangerous places and battling dangerous foes to obtain them.
Skills:
Archery- Like her sisters and members of the elf class, Lillian is proficient with a bow and arrow.
Powers/Abilities:
Fab Fairies Dance-Lillian can perform a dance with her sisters to do travel-advancing tasks such as opening doors and revealing paths.
Dancing Arrow-Lillian can fire an arrow that has a chance to make non-boss enemies become distracted and dance.
Weaknesses:
Mortality-While death is not brought up in Miitopia, it is fairly reasonable to guess that she can be killed.
Only a Third of a Puzzle-Lillian requires the company of her sisters to perform magic via dancing.
Face Stealing- Being a character from the Miitopia universe makes her susceptible to her face being stolen.

The faceclaim is a bit too...well known. My character sheet is finished. I did my best to keep things descriptive and detailed. I don't know if his weaknesses keep him from being overpowered or not. I feel like Vacundan technology would make things kind of broken though so...*shrugs*

Name: Lawrence Akaido
Universe From (Series your character comes from. OCs are labeled as OCs): RWBY OC
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Bio (Short/Long, who gives a shit?):
Lawrence Akaido was born and raised in the Desert Vacuo. His family lived in a town by the sea and traded goods along Vacuo's coastal areas. Lawrence and his brother Aaron trained from young age, as you have to be strong to survive in Vacuo. After unlocking their semblances their grandfather would take them into the desert and left to survive and find their way back on their own. Failure was not an option. Everything changed during one such training exercise when the world was thrown into flux and Vacuo gained an unexpected neighbor in the form of Wakanda's lush grasslands and forests.
With the world changing so drastically Lawrence no longer knew if becoming a Huntsman was so simple a dream as he had imagined. Aaron left to face the brave new by the end of that year leaving Lawrence to train against the Grimm, bandits, and any other monster or humanoid he crossed paths with. Some fights were purely for enjoyment and depending on if the foe was Grimm or humanoid Lawrence would either join his opponent for a post-fight meal or return to his base for some well-earned R&R. Other fights were all out brawls against foes that barely qualified as human.
When Lawrence finished his training and returned home to upgrade his equipment he learned of the duel that had taken place between the leaders of Vacuo and Wakanda for the right to rule, and that his home was now name Vacunda with T'Challa as its leader. He saw the change it had wrought in his home, both cultural and technological, and devoted himself to learning the ways of his neighbors before heading off on his own adventure.
Personality: Easy going and carefree, but with a hidden serious streak that appears every now and then. He can come off as an idiot due to his carefree nature, but he's smarter than he lets on. Lawrence and his brother Aaron trained from a young age, as you must be strong to survive in Vacuo. Lawrence is always up for a good fight and wants to be the strongest Huntsman to ever live. This may have been influenced by his early years of training where his brother always kicked his butt. His friends and family are his most important treasure. If you mess with them he will kick your ass no questions asked.
Skills (Things that a normal human could train to become proficient in): Lawrence is an able combatant thanks to his time training in the desert. After returning home he learned the ways of Wakanda's technology and how it could compliment the technology Remnant had before the world changed. Consequently he's acquired the knowledge needed for the creation and use of unique weapons or items using the new form of technology spreading through Vacunda and the wider world.
Powers/Abilities (Things accredited to genes, unusual circumstances, and otherwise supernatural abilities): As a native of Remnant Lawrence unlocked both his aura and his Semblance. His Aura allows him to shield himself from attacks or power the weapons or other equipment he creates. His Semblance is named Rebound and allows him to both manipulate his aura to a limited extent before it snaps back into shapes. This allows him to extend his reach and either grab things from a distance or attack enemies within a given distance. His Hunter Weapon "Wave Force expands the capabilities of his Aura, and his Aura changes depending on the kind of dust he's using.
Wave Force is a matched set of bracelets, , anklets, armlets, leg rings, and belt that he wears at all times. These are less weapons and more items that allow him to facilitate his combat capabilities to the fullest possible extent by boosting his aura or semblance as needed, as well as using dust to alter how his aura functions. Depending on the type of Dust used Lawrence can gain control over a given element, become faster or more agile, etc. Thanks to the technological advances accomplished by the merging of Remnants and Wakanda's technology Wave Force is not only capable absorbing or countering the kinetic force of physical attacks through Lawrence's Aura, but of covering Lawrence in skin-tight armor or manifesting energy shields as well.
Weaknesses (If anything notable): While Lawrence's Aura gives him a sixth sense for danger the same as other Huntsman he has yet to master it, and as such can be vulnerable to surprise attacks when distracted. Additionally, using his semblance puts Lawrence at risk for losing a significant amount of it in one go if someone cuts through his aura while it's extended.
Lawrence's Semblance doesn't drain his Aura when it's active due to how it functions, but that changes he uses Dust as Aura is the catalyst for using Dust. Once his Aura has been depleted he is as weak and vulnerable as any other human unless Wave Force takes its armor form.
Lawrence is reliant on Wave Force for the number of ways he can expand his fighting capabilities. Without it his attacks are limited to hand to hand or striking from a distance with single hit strikes.
Anything that drains or seals away either Lawrence's Aura or Wave Force will limit what he can do in a fight. Lawrence is left as vulnerable as a normal human if both Wave Force and his Aura are sealed
Others (Trivia, Theme music, etc.) (Optional): Lawrence eats a lot after a big fight, and I don't just mean going for second or third helpings either.
Lawrence is also less afraid to speak his mind than the average person and can come across as rude or uncultured if not worse depending on the situation.

I do remember Monty specifying that it's given names that were references to colors. The color is in his last name. Aka is the japanese word for the color red. I combined it with a fragment of the Japanese word Hadou to get Akaido.
I know he's not but it's Monty's rule to the fans actually.*shrugs* I wanted his first name to be normal. Besides, the character isn't canon to the show, so why worry?
Again: I wanted his first name to be normal, and last I checked we didn't have to follow naming convention with exactness for fan-characters or OC's. Besides, Ozpin, Glinda, Salem, Leo, and however many other characters in the show have first names that aren't specifically rooted in color.
I feel like that'll get really old if we end up having a long-running One Piece arc, personally.Crenando I like that pic though. Besides, if someone joins in as literally Luffy I think it would hilarious for the two to run into each other and see what happens. Same for any other One Piece character that might run into Lawrence.
How weird is it for a girl to be named Ruby or a guy to have the name Adam? I get what you're saying but like my job is keeping the lore straight in the RP.Again: I wanted his first name to be normal, and last I checked we didn't have to follow naming convention with exactness for fan-characters or OC's.

Okay so lore stuff... How did he get Wakandan tech? They don't like outsiders and T'Challa only made an exception recently. I mean they got use to it but not enough to share the cure for cancer to them also the rest of their tech. Considering that Vibranium Smuggling is still a big thing even in this RP (Thanks, Klaw).@Phantom Thief of Harts It says that a name needs to be color themed in some way. It never says that it has to be the first name or the entirety of a person's name. Not all characters in RWBY have both first and last name being color themed, and some of them don't even have color themes at all. I understand that you're wanting to make sure the lore remains consistent, but from what I can see you are trying to enforce something in a way that's more specific than what was initially intended. How could you please, please, PLEASE! stop harrassing me over the first name and let. It. Go.
