Anime & Manga Best Anime of 2015?

I personally am a huge fan of Black Butler (dark, Dramatic, humor) Ouran Highschool Host Club (romance comedy) and Naruto (Dramatic, comedy, romance, etc. ). :)

Black Butler is my favorite anime. I don't know if my response will be biased because I'm addicted... but since I love it.... and there's a huge fandom... I assume that it does get better. The first 10 minutes is slow and then it kicks into action for the rest of the reasons. It's just my opinion but Black Butler is my baby. <3

Are you looking for something that came out this year? If so, I'm afraid I'm not that up to date.

However, I'd still like to suggest my personal favorites:

Under the H for Horror

Shingeki no Kyojin

Parasyte: The Maxim

Another

Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Jigoku Shoujo

Under the C for Comedy

Witch Craft Works

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!!

Your Lie in April was very touching. Made a grown man like me shed a tear or two.

Death Parade was also very good.

I saw a few episodes of Your Lie but haven't finished it yet ;w; it's a feel train waiting to happen

I'll try to give death parade a try !

Comedy | Horror | Romance | Fantasy | Other

Angel Beats! ***

Accel World ***

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni **

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai **

PASWG **

Squid Girl **

Soul Eater **

SAO ***

Tokyo Ghoul **

Princess Tutu ****

(That's all I got ^.^)

Fate/Zero + Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works by Studio Ufotable is great atm.

Death Parade was really great this year. And I can confirm Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso was superb.

Tokyo Ghoul S1 was nice, but I wasn't very fond of the Second season.

Furthermore I am following Kekkai Sensen, Shokugeki no Soma & Danmachi.

I never really gave Black Butler a chance. I assume like any anime, it gets better?
No, I never figured out where it did, personally, anyway. To me what it was at the beginning it was the whole way through. Not bad, just not my fav.

Now noragami on the other hand. That's my jam.

if you're looking for this year food wars is a solid yes for a shounen that is starting out. but if you like shoujo my first love story is amazing. C:

Welp, things I think you'd enjoy.

Kekkai Sensen is really wonderful action/comedy show with a bunch of interesting and unique characters. It's got some pretty neat symbolism/narration choices.

Uchouten Kazoku is a slice of life/drama/kinda romance thing. It captures the atmosphere of Kyoto really well apparently.

Death Parade is really philosophical and about death, reincarnation and judgement. The opening theme is really nice too.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is a hilarious high school comedy thing about a group of (kinda dense) friends. Breaks a lot of stereotypes.

Hunter X Hunter looks like kind of a typical action thing at first, but there are so many interesting characters.

Yowamushi Pedal is the bicycle sports anime with the nerd protagonist and everyone is pretty eccentric.

If you like animes set in historical times then I really recommend Akatsuki no Yona (one of my all time favorites), Donten ni Warau, and Arslan Senki (which is produced by the same people who made Full Metal Alchemist..you'll definitely see lots of similarities!)

An anime short I like as well is Hotarubi no Mori e.

And more that I'll include:

AoHaru x Kikanjuu

Sawagebu (I find it hilarious)

Dangan Ronpa

Beelzebub

Black Bullet

Strike the Blood

Owari no Seraph (which to me is basically like the vampire version of Attack on Titan)

This year I would say the best anime was, in my opinion, Owarimonogatari. For me it was a breath of fresh year (The art-style, the amazing music and, of course, the story) but maybe it's not cut for someone who loves the shonen genre as most of the issues here are solved via dialogue. This was my entry into the Monogatari series and so far I've been having one hell of a ride, though I would be lying if I said that I didn't need to pause and rewind the episode from time to time because I missed something crucial to the plot.

So far the best anime I've watched this year is Gakkou Gurashi. I was really surprised how deep and dark it went within Ep.01. If you plan on watching it don't let the opening fool you and no googling for spoilers. My second recommendation is K: Return of Kings but it'd be best if you watch the first season first to get into the swing of things

They really pull the rug out from under you in Gakkou Gurashi.
