Benders Academy [Inactive]

Shizukana was already in her room just laying on her bed and staring at the ceiling. She was pretty much the only air bender around at the school, besides one other teacher. This didn't really bother her though, for she wasn't really a people person.


Fukumi however was just arriving at the school, having his stuff already stashed away in his own room. He had opted to not have a roommate, for he was too shy to talk to most people.


He walked in and immediately saw the fire bender and earth bender, messing about with their powers. The pink haired boy watched with his mis colored eyes, from a small distance in awe as the girl Maika bended electricity. He was envious of that type of power. All he could really do is change the color of fire, and what good was that? His cheeks were slightly pink out of being shy and he could only hope that the two don't try and talk to him. For now he was stuck standing still in one spot...
 
"Yeah, but I doubt I can improve these bending skills." Maika said. She returned the electricity to the wall through the socket. She looked around and saw a boy with pink hair standing there all alone.


"Hey, Lee, do you want to go talk to the pink haired boy over there? He's kind of just standing there all alone..." she somewhat trailed off.
 
Lee nodded and said," sure and he looks like a fire bender like you so you to could hit it off." he chuckled a bit and waited for her to start walking
 
Maika smiled and rolled her eyes playfully. She started to walk to the boy. When she got there with Lee behind her she smile at the pink haired boy.


"Hi there!" she waved at him. "I'm Maika, and this is Lee. What's your name?"
 
Fukumi's odd eyes darted around a bit nervously, as his face brightened a bit from embarrassment.


"Uhh..umm Fu.. Fukumi.." He managed to stutter out. From his girlish name, this made him all the more embarrassed... He managed a small and shy smile towards the two as he looked them over.


"H..Hi..." He then sighed a little bit, he always gets worked up over nothing. But I guess meeting people wasn't exactly his specialty...
 
" hi as she said my name is lee and its nice to meet you fukumi." led stuck out his hand for him to shake and could tell this guy wouldn't open up much just yet
 
"Well, hello Fukumi. I'm going to guess your a fire bender?" Maika said to Fukumi. Maika didn't bother shaking his hand since one. Lee already did and two. She could tell he was very shy and didn't want to push him.
 
Fukumi nodded and then took Lee's hand, Fukumi's hand was slightly shaking.


"N.. Nice to meet you..." He said, before letting go and then moving his eyes to the side of the room, focusing on a painting that was on the wall. the feminine boy wasn't one to meet new people. He had always sought out comfort by staying home with his mother. He would do the yard work and cook for her, as well as clean up their small house.


He then looked over to Maika with a small smile.


"Yeah..." He said softly in response to her question. Though Fukumi would never be able to do the special bending that she could.
 
Maika smiled.


"That's great! So am I! That means we will at least have one class together." She said happily. She really was relieved, she was afraid that she was going to be the only fire bender or something like that.
 
Misa had walked around for awhile before getting bored, and decided to go train. I wonder if I can get someone to fight me-for training purposes of course. She stuffed her hands into her pockets and rounded another corner. I think the way out should be-she stopped when she saw three other students talking. Oh crap, what do I do? Misa had never been in a situation like this. The only person she'd really been around for what seemed like forever was Reiji.
 
Maika saw Misa out of the corner of her eye. She turned her head to look at her. Maika gave her a warm, welcoming smile that pretty much said


'Come on over and join us'.
 
Lee chuckled and said," well me and you have certainly became popular haven't we?" he chuckled and wave for miss to come over. He saw that she was a bit shy like fukumi
 
Maika giggled.


"I guess so. Come on over, don't be shy!" I called out to the girl.
 
Misa sighed an walked over to the other students. "My name is Misa. I'm an earth bender." She announced. She smiled at the others and tucked her black hair behind her ear.
 
Lee got real excited when she said earth bender. He smiled and said," hi miss I'm and earth bender too." he extended his hand for her to shake it and he had on his friendliest smile
 
"Well, hi Misa. Looks like now we have two earth benders and two fire benders." Maika smiled.


"I'm Maika."
 
Fukumi kind of just stood to the side of the three, his cheeks burning slightly from so many people being around. His multicolored eyes darted around the room nervously as he thought about what to say or do. He could always make an escape to his dorm room, but would that make him look like a wimp? He took a strand of his pink hair and fiddled with it a bit.
 
"That's awesome!" She smiled and shook his hand eagerly. "Do you want to train together sometime? I only ever get to train with Rei-Mr. Taniyama these days." She used to fight with the gang, but they were all thrown in jail a few years back. She frowned at the memory, and pushed it out of her mind. She turned to the other girl. "It's nice to meet you." She smiled. God Reiji is gonna be stunned when he finds out that I'm capable of being this polite. I'm not the trashy little street girl he thought I was. Misa's smile grew when she thought about that.
 
Lee nodded and smiled," I was actually thinking of going to train in a bit and I would love a partner. So will you help me train then." he smiled and couldn't believe there was another earth bender here.
 
"Nice to meet you too." Maika said to Misa. She looked to the said and saw how nervous Fukumi was and put a hand on his shoulder.


"Don't worry, you don't need to be so nervous. We can all be friends here" Maika whispered to Fukumi. She slightly smiled a friendly smile to him.
 
Fukumi jumped slightly, startled. He blushed a bit as he shook her hand off his shoulder.


"U..Umm... I'm going to go now..." He said quickly, as he made his way past the group and the swiftly up the stairs, where he went inside of his dorm room. He frowned as he now was standing there. He didn't understand why he had to run, but he just didn't want to talk to people. The idea of having any friends kind of made him even more nervous.
 
Maika frowned when Fukumi ran away like that. She sighed and turned back to Lee and Misa.


"Well, what now?"
 
" I really don't know, well in any case I going to go train ill see you guys later." with that he waved and walked outside to the training area
