Lucky aspires to give life the least amount of effort as he can. The parts he gives to the world to are his most sacred parts of his being and those parts of him are to be cherished and appreciated. Nowadays, not many are willing to care for a sick friend or go out of their way to remember a classmate's birthday. But, Lucky does, or at least he tries to. The fact that he makes a strongly willed attempt to surpasses the darker, less caring side of his personality. It's the side that can't hold his tongue well, who spins circles around people's brains and leaves them on the defensive while he walks away, knowing he won. He may not be used to his powers yet, but there was a darkness there way before his ascension.

He knows the lyrics of every song on the radio and loves to sing along. Usually alone. His personal playlist is sporadic as fuck, but isn't that beautiful? He also has a hand for making crafts, just to keep his busy mind entertained. He buys a crochet hook every now and then. He means to get really into the hobby but never gets motivated enough. He used to do all forms of art well...at least before he was sent away the first time.

He fears to lose his mind, but that's for good reason. Allegedly, that's what happened to his birth mother before she died. Off the deep end about gods and monsters. She used to believe in angels too. That's why Lucky doesn't. As for his father...He just came back into his life, recently. Years and years too late, but Lucky knows that the man is withholding secrets. He doesn't get why, but the closer that man gets to him, the more Lucky starts to lose himself.

Now, he is pretty weird and there is a small habit of biting the tip of his tongue before spitting. He also has a toothpick/cigarette fetish. Anything that has to do with his mouth, really. But, in a way, this has sometimes been lead to be a skill of sorts: the subtle art of seeing the truth in things.


History :
Lucifer was adopted at birth, given to a foster family. Then another, and another. Had he have been anyone else he might have slipped through the cracks and become a forgotten soul. Destiny is fickle for those of fortune and the child was born to become something tremendous in his life. Weird things would occur around him, such as the slamming of windows or him sneaking up on someone as if he'd manifested behind them. His strangeness made it hard for him to stay in one home. And when he would tell someone of these things they'd think he was more than touched in the head. So much so that he actually spent a great deal of his life in a mental hospital. Any bonds he made were with people who were a part of the System. Lucky learned to hide his loneliness with charm.

He tested out of school a year early in order to spend a year looking for his birth father. Never did he expect to find the man. A lost patriarch to a lost coven, Ariel swore that he loved Lucifer's mother but that his birthright was what kept him away. Unfortunately, the man had squandered away a family fortune trying to numb the pain. He said that Lucky was the key to earning back the pride of their coven, but he never truly explained how. Relocating to the town where he was born was a personal hell for himself, due to the fact that it was the tomb that snared his birth mother. However, he quickly realized that he had a bigger responsibility. He went ahead and applied for the job of being the town sheriff, a position that had been vacant for some time. His degrees and certifications in the ways of the law ensured that he would get the job. But, that also meant he had to take on a seat on a secretive council that governed the way the town worked. All the while, he is unaware of the storm that brims on the horizon. Chaos threatens to spill over into both worlds and he may be one of the only things standing in its way.

Power: Mediumship- Julien can talk to, see, and hear spirits as if they were any other living being. This is something she cannot control or turn off. Aside from their energy, spirits are like any other person she meets, aside from the sometimes outdated appearances.

Evocation- Julien can conjure and summon spirits. To do this, she needs a part or a belonging of the individual from when they were alive. However, this requires a great deal of concentration and energy. This is something that needs to be planned in advance because she needs to conduct a seance to conjure a spirit.

Soul Interaction- Julien is able to physically interact with spirits. Because spirits are the souls of the dead, no average person could touch them, only pass through them. An interesting aspect of this power is that she can also interact with the souls of the living. Though, she is unable to separate the soul from the body because this would kill them. The soul only leaves the body completely once someone dies and cannot be caused to kill someone. She does like to use this as a scare tactic because people do not know that she is unable to kill them that way.

PERSONALITY:

Julien is determined and hard working, always giving all of her effort when completing whatever task she was focusing on. She is an extravert, preferring to spend her time with others than when she is by herself. She is friendly and empathetic and prioritizes listening to someone rather than trying to compare her experiences with theirs, although she does slip up on occasion. She is also stubborn and hard headed. She often struggles with apologizing and admitting she is wrong. She is also impatient and impulsive, which combined can lead to trouble.

BIOGRAPHY:

Julien descends from a long line of witches from a small village, now a bustling town, near Lyon, France. This is where she spent the first 18 years of her life. She moved to Paris to remain a bit more anonymous once she would start being suspicious for her lack of aging. Her ancestors have been there for as long as they can trace back. They, along with a few others, remained hidden during the witch hunts and only practiced their magic in secret. Though humans today believe magic and the supernatural is fiction, they are still cautious with how they practice it. Both her parents were witches and she grew up knowing exactly what she was. Her mother, Michelle, her father, Hugo, and her older sister, Gabrielle are well respected in their coven.

Julien was different from her family. Her powers are rare and come with a lot of fear. Although they don't actually kill anyone, people feared spending time with her would result in an untimely death. She has been communicating with spirits since she could talk. So, when she was young and didn't know she was different, she would not hide it, which was a bit scary for the witches who feared her powers. Her family had luckily embraced her and her powers. But, they still did their research on where they came from and what they could do. They were not able to find many answers except that a witch, several generations back on her mothers side, had the same powers.

She spent a good period of time in Paris. She put her research for her powers on the back burner and enjoyed herself for a few decades. She spent her time socializing and working just enough to support herself. When she was tired of having to move around and avoid her friends once they would start getting suspicious about her lack of aging, she decided to spend less time hanging around people she would have to eventually cut out and more time looking into her powers. Once she hit a complete dead end in Paris, she felt like it was time for a change.

In order to learn more about her powers, Julien decided to move to Ducchanes, Louisiana. She had family who had lived here at one point, so she knew of it's much larger population of supernatural beings. Surely someone there would be able to help her figure out her powers and maybe even discover new ones. It has been four years, but she still has not given up hope in finding answers. But, for now, she has a job and an apartment in Ducchanes. She has grown to appreciate her new home and hopes one day she will find what she is looking for.

Leoric fears to be weak, above anything. It's more of an umbrella fear, connecting to a myriad of thoughts he'd rather not think. His heart is cold and cynical no matter how many 'friends' and 'lovers' he accumulates. He has been an immortal for far too long to be told what to do by anyone. He follows his own rules, which are far and few between. His humanity doesn't exist anymore. All that's left is a vampire who lust's for more of whatever he desires.

History : Leoric was a nobleman who was turned on the eve of his arranged marriage to Countess Amelia du Grons. His lover and sire had planned on keeping Leoric as a pet. But, when the man turned away in horror of what he'd been turned into the fair featured Beau committed suicide...or at least that's what Leoric was led to believe. Leoric was alive enough to marry the young woman, who was more of a bore than anyone he'd ever met in his life. He murdered her within the year, draining her entire body of blood. He took her fortune and played it smart. Every 50 years a 'young heir' would arise in the Drake family, taking on the ever-growing dynasty. People asked no questions about how he always looked the same. Compulsion was the crown jewel of this con.

Recently he's come to live with one of his most beloved friends, Kamaria. They have a rich history together but are prone to bouts of feuding. These tiffs can last decades if not addressed and usually start over Leoric's eating habits. However, the Old One still keeps her close to heart, trusting her judgment overall and letting her into a place some people never see within himself.

Over his many years of existence, he has come into being very skilled in things that none other would have the time for. His main talent is a knack for capturing people's visage at their most genuine moments. At first, he made people's portraits come to life with tools of oil colors and canvas blocks cut at the oddest angles. It was as if telling the world that he viewed it in a different light than what was actually there. However, in the advent of the new centuries, he took to the use of photographic stills and short cinematographic essays that looked into what one's mind and soul was truly made of. Despite his crude, snobbish behavior in public he treated these pieces of work like holy writ, never taking a cut corner or holding back from what he wanted the rest of the world to see. Only few actually have his original works though, the kinds of pictorials that remained elusive to even the most trained of curators.

Spending his life being the embodiment of entitlement has worn on him. Despite being in the background of the public eye he doesn't hold well with bonding. Vampiric or not other people still held a human mindset. And, in that vein, the idea of fostering the goals and ambitions of others was a task Leoric preferred to handle in the way of not handling at all. In fact, many of his ancient acquaintances thought he'd finally been hunted down on many different occasions due to his lofty approach to speaking or even being around others.

History : Kamaria was born in Alexandria, Egypt during the rule of Cleopatra. As the daughter of a priest and doctor Kamaria spent her days in comfort and luxury. The young woman wanted for nothing. From a young age she had wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a doctor. Like any noble girl she was given the best teachers and spent her days learning of politics and etiquette. Her life changed drastically when she turned twenty. Cleopatra’s rule had come to an end and the romans took over Egypt. Many of the nobles, including her father, were killed during that time while she and her mother were taken as spoils of war. She was never able to find her after that.


The once noble lady was reduced to a courtesan. Kamaria played her role well though. Using all that she was taught to gain the favor of many high ranking officials. Her life was once again of luxury yet not as kind to her as it had been. There were those who were cruel to her because of her looks and her place of birth. Not every client treated her with basic human decency. Years went by and Kamaria plotted, wanting revenge for the death of her family and home. Her chance came in the form of a rather mysterious client. Her exotic looks drew him in as well as her flowery words. He was an odd man, coming in only when the set was in the process of setting and the moon emerged from its hiding place. Kamaria thought little of it. His visit her pleasant, they talked, made love, and she was showered in gifts. It became apparent that she had become his favorite. They spoke of their past, how he had lost his wife and unborn son during childbirth and how she missed her past life and wished for revenge. Kamaria’s wish was granted as her admirer revealed himself as a vampire. He offered Kamaria a way to achieve her goals and of course she agreed.


After her turning Kamaria slowly but surely laid waste to those who took her life from her and those who’d wronged her as a courtesan. After that she fled with her maker. The two of them traveling together and learning of the world around them. One day however Kamaria had returned from a hunt to find him gone, it was as if he’d never existed. Kamaria spent her time looking for her mentor, years went by and she found no trace of him. Eventually she gave up and her feelings towards him turned bitter. Kamaria traveled by herself, meeting interesting people and learning about different cultures as time passed. She enjoyed observing the world as it evolved and changed. Kamaria visited the United States during what was known as the Roaring 20s. She fell in love with the era, especially enjoying the Harlem Renaissance. She settled in Louisiana, traveling all over the state. Kamaria didn’t stay long as to not draw suspicion but she eventually came back and settled. She was given the title of Vampire Authority Leader

He was born into the Dark River pack in Wisconsin. Since he was a hybrid of a witch and a lycan he noticed the others treated him strangely and there was also a power difference between him and the other kids. Nevertheless his mother loved him dearly and would always murmur that he was her brightest moon. That he was what gave her strength. That and the love for his father who had been a warlock (witch). In his father's coven it was forbidden for males to take another mate as it upset the power balance and his father, James (or so his mother told him) was never heard from again. His mother, Vivian, surmised they put him to death and she hid him in her pack. When he turned 18 the pack finally had an excuse to rid themselves of this outsider. They promptly kicked him out and forbid anyone to have contact with him (not that he wanted contact)

Antoinette left New Orleans and traveled, learning new things along the way. After a century she returned. She adopted a disguise for the humans. Posing as a distant relative of the Voodoo Queen who had disappeared who goes by the name Tony.

Mariposa has always been that kid. The one who talked more to the trees and the woods than her own family. Her Mother and Father recognized this as a passion early on, and started to teach her about herbs, the plants of the forest, and more. Living in Paris, it was harder for her to do field study’s, so instead she worked with plants she could grow herself. She learned how to brew them into tea, use in medicine, and more.

As a werewolf, it was easier to sniff out the right herbs from the wrong, and it gave her an easier grasp on the subject. Her obsession with medicine and plants only grew as she did, and eventually her parents knew this would be something she stayed with for a long time. They fully supported her, and helped her learn all she could.

However, an accident involving a drunk driver occurred, and though nobody died, Mariposa suffered a several injury to her right hand. It had almost been crippled, three forths of the bones shattered in her hand. While they were able to fix the bones in her hand so it looked normal, apart from a slight bend at the wrist, they weren’t able to fix the shaking. Her hand, when under pressure or even doing simple tasks, would begin to shake slightly. They diagnosed her with Essential Tremor soon after the wreck.

Deciding to still pursue medicine, Mariposa’s parents gave her a fresh start, moving her to a new town an odd distance away, and helped her start her own coffee shop that could attract the income needed to finance her online college courses she takes.

History :
Born to unready parents, Gabriel was given up at birth and spent only months before being adopted by parents of the small town. His adoptive mother was a barren woman, who once she'd laid eyes on Gabriel and his adoptive sister, Esther, thought she'd love the two children forever. Adopted by a religious, Christian couple, both were given names derived from the Holy Bible. He was named after Angel Gabriel, who appeared to Mary before the coming of Jesus, as the couple had felt Gabriel's appearance was just as astounding. Gabe grew up without any knowledge of his background and birth parents, and was raised in the sense his adoptive parents had birthed him.

It wasn't until his early teens that he'd endure signs of being "different." Physically, his body had surpassed enhancements that should only be written off as increased testosterone. For a 12 year old boy, his speed, agility, and dexterity were all far too advanced. But he loved it. He loved the outdoors, running, playing with his friends, and was an overall beam of sunshine in his youth. Puberty, that's all. Or so they thought. He'd developed a habit of sleeping with his windows open during full moons, sweating uncontrollably, and whimpering in dreams he couldn't describe himself. It seemed after every full moon, the stimulation to change only grew and grew until he did. And he woke up, unclothed in the middle of the forest with no idea how he'd left his home.

Then wolves. One, then three, and six, until a pack of large, but tamed wolves surrounded the boy's body in the middle of the night. And in his mind, he could hear a voice, a telepathic connection to the largest of the wolves, "You are one of us." With those words, he could make out almost human-like features in the wolves, some not fully transformed, and some on all fours. With his clothes torn, and mud all over, Gabriel felt the most at home in that moment. And Howled his first howl. He'd return to the woods countless times a week, learning to transform, integrating himself as a part of the pack, and growing relationships with the other wolves alike. Gabriel quickly became one of the strongest werewolves, rivaled only by a few, and it was publicly announced that he was a lost 'pure-blood' cub, at the realization that he could transform at will.

The constant leaving of the house each night, training, and hunting didn't reflect well academically or with the rest of his family. His mother often questioned his window habit, and his reasoning for being out so late, pressuring him to the point he revealed his secret to his mother. Immediately, he was deemed a demon by his parents who refused to spread the word across town, was prayed for night in and night out for something he wouldn't be able to change, and in his junior year of high school, was ultimately kicked out of his home.

Much of the ravagers of the pack offered to take him in, but in being one of the only full-blood wolves, the Alpha ( George Walsh) of the pack went on to raise him as his own, in a household that consisted of only the two of them. There he was taught discipline, and control, with being a wolf, and the true meaning of leading the pack. It wasn't long after his highschool graduation that the Alpha faced rivals who had a distaste with how he lead the pack, and felt he was "holding them back." In countless duels to surmount the Alpha, he'd ultimately be bested by another werewolf, who claimed the title of Alpha and left Gabriel's father figure for dead. In a rage, Gabriel claimed vengeance for the lost soul, and because he'd claimed the life of the Alpha, took on the roll himself. No one dare challenge the full-blood.

Now, he aims to govern the pack the same way he'd been taught. To live in peace alongside the other creatures, and to support one another no matter the cost. To be a true family, more family than a pack.

History : Like most angels, Killian wasnt quite sure where he came from, only that he suddenly was and he has orders and they must be carried out. he knew his name and his goal. he was given his weapon, a shimmering golden sword, his unit he was assigned to, his thin cot he never could sleep on as he heard the awful thrumming sound outside of the realm they were in that felt like a heartbeat full of twisting storms and fire. Killian was a good soldier, he didnt ask questions and he was good with his blade. He struck down the enemy, he mourned his companions when they fell—even when he wasnt quite sure what was next after their death—and he did it all over again. He was promoted, less time on the battlefield and instead more "luxury" time even though no matter how far away the battlefield was he couldnt get the noises and the smells of smoke and blood and—

It went on for years...until he was assigned to Earth. The mortal realm, full of the children of Adam and Eve. They didnt have the perfect faces nor the tall, elegant yet strong bodies of angels. They were smaller and came in all types. He was told to defend them, and so he did. The longer he stayed, the more he realized how pointless it all was. He fought to defend the humans—who in turn fought one another. Was this all god wanted? It was the first time he had ever questioned his actions.And soon they came more frequently and often, they rose to his throat and came out in hoards when he heard his orders. "Why?" was his new weapon as his sword covered in dust as he got it out less and less. His unit found his barrack empty one night, and so his new life began.

he knew nothing but he learned quickly. humans were quick to anger, loud, and selfish. They squabbled like hens and protected what little they had with their lives. the first human town Killian entered treated him like a plague and avoided the tall figure at all costs.If he had revealed his wings they would've probably fainted on the spot.

The angel settled down and lived among the mortals despite the thick layer of tension. he offered his healing powers in the disguise of a doctor, making fake remedies with different plants and chants as he healed them with a light touch on the head or hand. he ignored most payments and lived happily, finding content in truly helping those around him.he was...content. or so he thought he was...until he met him. The soldier who has mistakenly ran into him in the market and gave the angel that gloved hand and sheepish smile and heaved Killian up as if he weighed nothing. It was nothing...but it felt like everything. Killian would visit the market when he knew the guard was on patrol and soon he found the guard needing healing for random scratched a little too frequently. neither of them knew what was happening nor why and it was wrong on so very many levels but what were they to do about it except for continue? and it was fine for those few years. Lionel—the guard— was away often, but when he returned (a bit scrapped up usually) nothing made the angel happier as he bandaged the man up and they spoke of his travels over dinner in his house. nights were memorable and he snuck out before dawn and they met back up during the day. they made plans to leave and start a new life, and Killain made plans to tell the man who he really was. for once in his life, Killian had a true purpose, and it was with Lionel.

He woke up one morning couching, ash clogging the air and smoke billowing. he stumbled outside and he saw the battle overhead and the fire raining down as the demons attacked. Lionel was probably getting ready to join the fight with the rest of the army—stupid humans sticking their nose into affairs. And so once again, the golden sword was picked up and the dust blown off and sheathed once again. The glamour on his wings lifted and he ascended once more to the heavens.

the sword felt familiar in his grip and once again he became a terror of the skies—this time fighting for something more meaningful then life itself. there were shouts of recognition, angels from the past who were surprised to see their former kinsman, but Killian wasnt focused on them. Demon after demon fell and when Killian saw a group attacking human troops, his heart sped up as he dove down to attack despite him being outnumbered. It was a fight he always remembered, even when he closed his eyes it played out in his mind no matter how many times he clawed at his head and shook in his bed late at night. the first ten seconds, the clash of his body against armor and the slash of his sword, the weight, the strain in his arm as it sunk into flesh and black blood bubbled out. He saw Lionel when the fourth body dangled off his sword, black blood dribbling down Killians arm and on his wings—the wings Lionel was staring at with the joy and fear of a child that turned to terror—what did Killain do-
the sword sliced his wing and Killian fell, down down. the ground rose up to meet him with a heavy thump, the pain was nothing more than hot knives stabbing- he heard Lionel's screams through his disorientation. Lionel's sword...his screams..silence.

he crawled over to Lionel, or at least to his head.
you finally have a major wound my love...and I cannot mend it. His melancholy was so strong he almost didn't see the demon's attack. he evaded it with a swift leap and dig his sword into the demons eye.

the battle drew to a close and humanity was saved once more...but Killians whole world was destroyed that day.

the angel learned that immortality was a curse. his sadness was a mantle he wore everyday and there was little to do to evade it. the pain soon ebbed, but memories and flashbacks haunted the angel like phantoms. the most he could do was simply..wander.

and so he did.

years passed, and then some more. civilizations rose and fell, places changed, everything changed. History : Aamani can still remember the start of it all. She followed Lucifer down into the depths of Hell when he led his rebellion. She fell with him and the rest. The universe's longest war. Hell was a boring place for a while. A living hell if you will. But then, the souls started piling in and the torturing began. She didn't think she would love torturing, you see. She may be a fallen angel, her wings clipped and powers revoked, but she was still an angel. But then she looked into the filthy soul that landed at her feet. She saw its worth. The man who this soul belonged to... he deserved to be where he was in that moment. She knew that. Then the thought hit her: God cast out and made these his subjects? The ones he loved? He loved them all despite all the nasty things they did to each other. And that's when she snapped. She loved torturing after that moment.

This lasted for God knows how long. Months? Decades? Centuries? Aamani would pull the souls' deepest fears from them and inflict it onto them over, and over, and over. Until one day. A new order from the Big Bad Boss came. She was to be sent to Earth. With them. She had heard from other demons that causing the humans on Earth pain was a different kind of pleasure completely different from what she knew from Hell. So, with a bow to her King, she made her way to Earth.

When she arrived, she found herself floating above a civilization along a large river. Farms were lined along the riverbed and houses made of mud could be seen. Even farther, grand pyramids stood. She looked down to find a young woman carrying a pitcher full of water. Yes, her she thought and swooped in, plucking the woman's soul from her body and pushing it away. She had made it.

After that day she had learned the river she had seen her first day (and many days after) was called the Nile. It brought life to the surrounding area - and also death. It flooded every year and with the floodings came drownings. The hippos which lived in the waters were known to kill as well. The waters were so powerful, so strong. She could no longer go by her God given name. From that moment on, she referred to herself as Nile. No longer Aamani the peaceful, but the powerful and unpredictable Nile.

During her time in Egypt she inflicted many a plague on the Ancient Egyptians. She tortured them relentlessly. They were Nile's little play things and by God she used them. She personally assisted with the murdering of all the little Hebrew boys, throwing them into the Nile. Her and many other demons plagued the country with leprosy and famine. Who needs Hell when we can make Earth their living Hell?

Those were her glory days.

After the fall of the Egyptian Empire, she moved on to other civilizations. Varying Chinese dynasties, Roman Empire, Germanic kingdoms, the Vikings. She lived through it all and tortured though it all. But time has mellowed her out. She's still the kickass demon she always was, but throughout time she developed a soft spot towards the humans. She still likes to cause despair across the lands she is inhabiting at that time, but Nile knows judgement will be delivered to those that deserve it. And judgement is her middle name. So why not get paid to do it?

Nile began her profession as a prosecutor once moving to France in the 18th century (of course, after switching bodies into a old Frenchman named Ledger). She began prosecuting criminals and she was damn good at it. Her ability to twist the words of the defense to the way she liked it made her unstoppable in court. Nile continued her profession as a lawyer in varying places as various people, always keeping her first skin with her at all times.

Her hatred for humans may have diminished to a more manageable amount, but that doesn't stop her from continuing her chaotic tendencies. She is still a demon after all.

While Xander has some magic in his blood, his real power comes from something demonic. Whatever he summoned a month after his sister died stuck around and latched onto him. Or more like... he’s stuck with a power he can’t control and seems to have a mind of its own. While the demonic energy he draws his power from isn’t sentient, it’s certainly not his own. It started with objects moving and slamming into walls when he gets emotional. He hears unintelligible whispers from people he’s next to, a constant white noise that he can’t understand. Crowds are impossible. And recently, he’s been disappearing from one place and appearing somewhere else with absolutely no warning save for a small wave of nausea and dizziness. With no coven and no teacher, Xander is in way over his head and happens to be a particularly dangerous time bomb.

Xander grew up in Montreal, Canada and wasn’t terribly special in any way. He belonged to no coven and while there is a history of natural witches in his family on his aunt’s side, his immediate family was removed from the practice of magic. Xander had grown up completely satisfied with his life, friends, and family. He had a stunning girlfriend and a good job as a social media intern for a company that sold socks.... Really comfy socks. It was a better gig than it sounds.

But while he was satisfied, his brother was anything but. Jackson was close to his Aunt who did practice natural magic. Under their aunt’s tutelage, Jackson got more and more reckless. An accident occurred in the home while Xander was out with his girlfriend. One of Jackson’s spells broke out of control and consumed only one room in their house with flames. The one where their little sister was scrolling through her phone, minding her own business.

Overcome with an obsession to see her again, Xander began messing with darker and darker magic. The kind of magic that made their mom distance the family from their aunt in the first place. Even somebody with no natural magic could summon a demon, surely. Since then, whatever power Xander might have once been able to control has been coming out in unpredictable waves. HISTORY

Kellie is from a powerful family of elementalists. Every member of the family (the clan, actually) has basic control of the four main elements: fire, air, water, earth. When they come of age, they usually specialize in one, which means they gain more control of that element and not the rest. Kellie was different-- she never specialized.

Or so they thought.

As it turns out, Kellie did specialize, just not in one of the four main elements. Not even one of the other rare elements, such as metal or electricity. No, Kellie specialized in spirit magic, and they only found out due to her unique powers (unique compared to the rest of the clan). Without someone else around to train her in spirit magic, her family and clan did the best they could.

At seventeen, she set off to find someone who could help her with her powers. She found someone, an experienced dream walker who had lived by himself for years. He was a bit touched in the head, but he explained that that's what spirit magic did to you, since you pulled from your own essence instead of the environment and things around you.

Kellie knew she couldn't stay with him forever, but she didn't expect her clan to be slaughtered when she was nineteen. When she returned from her home, she found that her spirit mentor was gone as well. She was alone, with no home to return to. She's been on her own ever since.

-Holy Flame: Vinny can summon a ball of holy fire to smite his enemies with. Just the light of the flame is enough to exorcise low level demons. A tennis ball size flame is easy to do and requires a low amount of energy, but something bigger than a beach ball will drain him of his energy. In extreme cases, the energy drain could knock him out or put him into a coma.

-Bless: Vinny can bless rain, snow or water to become holy. Making holy water is easy enough, it's stagnant and has an observable amount. If a beverage is at least 25% water, Vinny can bless it, which means holy orange juice is the solution to ridding the world of demons. As mentioned before, Vinny can bless a section of already existing rain to rain holy water. This takes a lot more effort and concentration, so it's just easier to bless his morning coffee and throw it on any attacking demons. The holy water isn't very effective for everyday use, he only really uses it to rid demons that are spooking the humans for amusement.

-Empathy: Vinny can feel humans' emotions and with physical contact can transfer a feeling to them. For example, let's say, theoretically, Vinny tried stealing from a 7/11 and he can feel that the store clerk is gonna punch him in the face, so with a simple touch the store clerk is now totally understanding where Vinny is coming from, and definitely will not be punching him in the face. The effect only lasts until the next hour, after which the human feels as though divine intervention never happened.

-Minor Miracles: Vinny is basically a genie that grants wishes to make someone's life slightly less annoying. Things like making a cup of cold cocoa warm, filling in a pothole, spell checking someone's essay, tying wet shoelaces, opening a jar, simple stuff to make life just a little bit less infuriating. However, he can only make small miracles if it helps someone. So no tripping other people or disarming the 7/11 security system. The act also has to be relatively small, so humans don't suspect magic, and instead pin it on pure luck.

History:

Vincent Whitehack is his latest alias, which he changes every now then to make sure no one gets suspicious. He's been alive since the beginning of humanity, actually, some time before humans were even made. He was there when Lucifer and his followers fought heaven. He specifically remembers the pain of it all. The screams of anguish as he sent down waves of holy fire against once close comrades . The looks of betrayal as his former friends stood in shock as the fires came to swallow them whole. The deep sadness he felt as he was ordered to strike down everyone he knew and still cared for. Since that day he was never the same.


Humans come along and he was sent down to watch over them, protect them from evil, and help them along their way to success. He never tried very hard to lead the humans to a path of pure light. He knew that was his purpose, but a path of pure light would lead to the bloodshed of his fallen friends. Even if heaven consider them to be traitors, Vinny just couldn't get behind that idea. Of course, he still had to exorcise some of them. The imps and simpler demons in particular. The higher rank demons never thought a possession was really worth their time. They usually planned for bigger things like gathering followers or converting humanity's youths. Vinny was always thankful for that, because at least then he wouldn't have to kill someone he knew.


Centuries went by in roughly similar fashion. Vinny helps humanity out a little bit, not too much, but just enough. Like making instant popcorn, or turning the light green when they needed it. He only exorcises low level demons and largely stays away from the whole battle the demons of hell sort of thing.

Reaper Physiology
Solomon has the ability to know when a person will die and can see that number in the eyes of anybody he speaks to. It's heavily against the rules to let anybody know these numbers, though Solomon has been known to break rules before. Along with this, Solomon can induce eternal sleep with a touch... though, that's also heavily frowned upon unless it is that person's time to go. Sol spent the majority of his existence as a ferryman, passing people into the afterlife. He can keep people from passing into the afterlife, just as well. Sol also gains strength from the deaths of others but is just fine if he walks among the living. The one power Solomon uses the most and openly is his ability to induce fear in others, and uses that power to disguise himself a demon of fear.

Nnnn. Which point? What would anybody like to know? His time in both Wold Wars? How about when he was employed by Emperors and Pharaohs of old? The disappearance of civilizations in South America (Spoiler, the Mayans didn't fall from natural causes). The thirty years or so he played in a rock band and experienced the galore of sex, drugs, and fame?

Solomon has gone by many names, though his original name is a closely guarded secret. There's power in a name, you know.

Sol has spent a long long long time shifting through the world, placing a hand on peoples' eyes and passing them to the afterlife. A reaper's job is never done. Unbound by the ties of heaven or hell, they remained impartial bystanders even as demons and angels tore each other apart. Solomon, like any reaper, had always done exactly as a reaper was to do since his own creation. He never knew a childhood, a family, or a place of belonging in the universe. Solomon has been around since the curse of Caine, however, his memories of those times are foggy and unclear as are the memories of reapers who were "born" in those days. If there's something creating that fog, he remains delightfully unaware of what that could be. It wasn't a reaper's job to question. Question where they came from. Why they have the job they have. Who created them. They are tools. A means to an end.

Solomon questioned.

It can only be expected that a loose hair appears from the mold eventually. Solomon first began his quest for more around the time Lucifer fell. In the chaos and strife, Solomon requested the help of a witch and a demon to break the Trace, a binding that chains a Reaper to the afterlife and makes them undetectable to humans, demons, or physical entities. With the Trace broken, Solomon was able to blend in with humanity under the guise of a demon. He uses fear to help solidify this identity. He has also come to find through his years walking free that other reapers have since begun to walk among people. Though, Solomon took his freedom to fully embrace what life had to offer. He has experiences from all walks of life and has become quite the untouchable bastard, always on a quest for more, more, more. He wants it all.

In his most recent years, Solomon has settled into the humble town of Ducchanes, Louisiana among supernatural creatures. He owns a rather luxurious hotel under his name and is typically seen around there or working the bar at the hotel's bar - this being just another chapter in Solomon's life. Of course, Solomon's personality has grown and grown into just the right amount of arrogant, suave, and resourceful. He sells information for a price and works closely with nobody. Solomon constantly feels the pull of death but fears that if he uses his true powers, whomever created him and whomever held that leash in the first place will find a way to imprison him again.

As one might expect, reaping souls has left Solomon a little tense despite always seeming content. He refuses to acknowledge a sort of longing for an end, since as far as he knows, he can't die. Stab him in the heart, chop off his head, explode his body with a train, jump off a very tall building -ahem-, Solomon always wakes up without a scratch. Though, each time Solomon does die, the nightmares get worse and more real. He feels emptier. Now he's grown to fear death just as much as he knows he embodies death. Sol has the ability to grow close to people, though finds that seeing little numbers telling him when another reaper will come and take them away is a bit of a turn off.

Living in a Supernatural hub puts him at most ease since most of the regulars that buy a drink from him are so old and have such high numbers, he doesn't feel like he's on the clock. Solomon likes to think that this is his great retirement chapter. Retirement from the reaping, the running, and the wild highs of embracing freedom. He simply likes to pretend that he isn't married to death and passes his time as the town's confidante. A close, laidback friend to talk to. The cute guy running the bar who doesn't really fit in too well. Did he name both his businesses after himself? Why yes. Yes, he did. Because why not?

through selene's binding with ambrosia's soul, ambrosia was able to inherit the power of warping and creating reality, also known as manipulating reality. she can create realities within realities with its own rules, physics, features, and possibilities. however, her power only lasts a couple of hours. ambrosia's eyes turn a pale blue whenever her power is in use; they glow in the dark. her powers intensify under the moonlight.

Both of her parents were brought up with unforgiving families and fled to the united states to start anew. Since Ambrosia grew up with a rough childhood and being the second born of three siblings, she wanted nothing more than to protect her youngest sibling from the harsh reality of their decaying family and save the severed bond with her eldest sibling. Alas, every effort took a piece of her sanity as time progressed and ambrosia found herself depressed and helpless as she watched her family continue to grow apart. She no longer had the will to be the glue that endlessly tried to keep her family together. In despair for her failures, she committed the sin of taking her own life. She drowned herself in a lake under the moonlight.

Selene is the Titan Goddess of the Moon and had watched Ambrosia's life from the very beginning and witnessed the many obstacles Ambrosia had to face. Upon Ambrosia's suicide, Selene took pity on the girl. Selene wagered with the God of Death, Hades, and bound herself with Ambrosia's soul. With the price of forgetting her former life, Ambrosia was allowed to return to the mundane world as a reincarnate of Selene. Ambrosia awoke, floating in the water where she took her life. However, she had no recollection of who she was previously. Scared of the unfamiliar surroundings, she fled across the country to start anew with nothing but her name and the soaking clothes on her back.

Among her travels, Ambrosia practiced her newfound powers by helping children who suffered from rough childhoods. Orphans, the neglected, and the abused. Ambrosia used her powers by creating beautiful illusions that made the children scream with glee- their dull lives were forgotten whenever Ambrosia was around. She was uncertain about her gravitation toward helping children who were not even her own. But where she walked, she inspired love and she loved the joy that twinkled in the children's eyes. Ambrosia wanted nothing more than to mask the harsh reality that wanted to destroy the children's innocence. Although her powers did not last forever, she wanted to be able to steer the children in a better direction.

That was until people began to peg her as an evil witch who brainwashed children and stole them from their homes. In reality, they were too scared to return to their homes and wanted to follow the bliss that Ambrosia carried with her. The townspeople were vulgar and unforgiving with their words and actions toward her. They no longer saw Ambrosia as a friend; instead, they saw her as a monster that needed to be rid of the world. They burned her belongings and trashed her living quarters, but worst of all, she could no longer play with the children and their helpless cries was her ultimate punishment. Heartbroken, Ambrosia left the town she loved dearly. The people she met and the memories that she made were now twisted and tarnished by the hate and fear of her powers. She vowed to never use her powers again.

Ambrosia currently lives in a small town, isolated by a sea of forests. She works as a waitress in the town's diner. She would have worked in the nearby orphanage, but the memories of the children she once loved were too painful for Ambrosia to bear.

Although she might be petite, her glare is known to make the strongest crumble--and you definitely don't want to get on her bad side. She holds a grudge. She finds it hard to empathize sometimes: emotions aren't really her strong suit. If on her good side, Serena is fiercely loyal and will not hesitate to ensure happiness and safety for the other. Her Creator didn't stick around after her Creation, so she doesn't quite know her origin story. She only knows that she's been present for quite awhile, stumbling around in the darkness. It felt like three turns, one downwards, one to the left, then the right before she discovered Earth. Her age is a reflection of how many years she's been on Earth, but the years that she spent in the odd asylum of her Creator are not counted. The lack of knowledge of her creation has long been a sore spot for her, and a side quest. She needs to know where she came from.

After a decade or so observing humans and understanding their characteristics, she was able to assimilate herself into their odd world. Soon, she grew a fondness for them and their cultures, though their self-destructive tendencies exasperated her. She travelled around for quite a bit, quietly staying out of both the major wars, until she wound up in Côte d'Ivoire in 2004. The people in the small town she resided at knew there was something off about her, and asked her to help them in the civil war. Knowing quite well that she could not fail the people who had been welcoming of her presence and given her a warm place to sleep and warm food to eat, she set off to war.

With her presence, the tide of the war turned in favor of her side. She was able to influence her soldiers to fight with renewed vigor and energy, despite them being in various states of fatigue. When the battle was won, she realized that the soldiers of the opposing sides had fled, leaving the under-age children they had recruited to be the ones to take the fall. She found a child lying in the mud, gasping because of a wound in his back, barely alive. She found that the child's own soldiers had seen him lagging and shot him while he had been fighting, not wanting him to give valuable information. Unable to believe such an atrocity had been committed, Serena cradled the child, who begged her to save the others who had been coerced into fighting for a cause they didn't believe in. With his dying breath, she made the promise, fury flickering in her eyes.

The opposing side was decimated, and her fury was preserved in the stories the villagers would tell. Her cry, "Posuisti Eis Misericordias", translating into "Show them no mercy" was born in the fight. The villagers would tell it as a driven mindset that would coerce the army to work as one-- a strength that was unparalleled. In penance for her presence in the war, Serena cast of her wings.

She's settled in DC, a prosecution attorney reserved for the most heinous criminals. Pray that you never see her, because the defendants in her case don't make it out.

Armani was born into a wealthy yet controlling and dysfunctional household. His father ran a chain of nightclubs popular with tourists throughout Latin America and his mother, prior to his birth, was a popular television personality and model. Fights between his parents were just a part of every day life, and as a result he was often left in the care of nannies and the occasional friend of the family until the age of eight. When his parents did start to step in, the time he spent with them was often unpleasant. In his mother's "care", he was locked in his room for numerous hours a day, often without any food or water. Once his mother started drinking, however, she would throw things and yell at him, blaming him for "ruining" her perfect figure and wishing she could get rid of him without losing everything else. When he was with his father, things were slightly better, but not by much. His father would spend hours trying to teach the child the way of the nightclub business as well as the small details that even a child of his age could figure out were illegal.

In his early teens, he went through a brief period of delinquency that almost started a major scandal for his family. After his father signed a new deal in California, Armani's family moved to the states to start a new life. Naturally, he struggled since his English wasn't as great as his parents', and he had a hard time making friends. As a result, he fought. At first it was nothing, just simple scraps that boys often got into. But then, it got much worse. One day, a boy picked a fight after Armani's been starved and locked in a room by his mother while his father was away. Since he was young and had limited control over his abilities, he shifted in the school bathroom and left the other child in critical condition. The school wanted to press charges, under the assumption he had somehow managed to sneak a blade of some sort into the school. However, his father paid both the school and the child's parents to make the whole situation go away. It wasn't much of a surprise to Armani considering the way his parents covered up their own domestic spats all while constantly maintaining a front in the public eye. He knew what he was even before this incident.

On his eighteenth birthday, Armani's father "insisted" he go into the business with him. His father wasn't giving him much of a choice since he refused to pay for Armani to go to college for what he really had a passion for at the time: psychology. He agreed at first, only to expose the illegal activity his father did through the business. Unfortunately it backfired to an extent, given his father managed to frame his mother for everything and have her thrown into a prison. As a result, he took what he could of his family's money and fled in hopes that his father wouldn't send someone to off him. In order to make sure he would never end up in a tough spot, he worked in various bars and clubs around the U.S. and developed skills with making and serving drinks. Because of his name, it wasn't long before he became a bit of a celebrity. He ended up settling in a small town to get away from the spotlight once again and still hasn't heard from or about either of his parents ever since the day he left.

  Having been around from the beginning, Roth is depicted and known throughout history by many names in different cultures and religions. Having believed to have origins as the Goddess Astarte, Roth was pleasantly surprised when later historical text referred to her as a male archdemon by the name of Astaroth. Though she can take up many forms and identities, she chooses to remain as female. This choice aides in hiding her true identity. Once a seraph, Roth is a great duke in the infernal regions.
  
  In earlier times, Astaroth was more maleficient in her intentions. She watched as nations were built and destroyed by humanity time and time again. In those eras, she was more directly involved. Nowadays, she has settled down, but still prefers calamity over peace, taking great enjoyment in subtle acts of wrongdoing since her fall from Heaven. Modern times call for modern corruption, and she prefers more mental and physical corruption over sheer destruction.
  
  For now, after a century overseas, Roth has decided to settle in the town of Ducchanes, Louisiana thanks to the town's affinity for the supernatural. Though Roth has immense knowledge due to her lifespan, she enjoys partaking in meager human activities. Being close to humans in their natural habitat allows her to decipher them easier. Starting a new life and identity in Ducchanes, she spent many years in academia, eventually earning her Juris Doctorate and passing the Louisiana Bar Exam. Becoming in Attorney, however, was more for enjoyment on her end than for her clients. Seeing the corruption, the desperation, and the pleas of the courtroom reveal multiple sides to humanity. She often takes the most heinous clients, easily earning them their freedom through unconventional means.
  
  Though an archdemon, Roth easily adapts to her surroundings and the times. She enjoys the little things such as reading and a strong cup of coffee. Roth is usually well put together, and rarely goes out in public without properly maintaining her image. Strong-willed, witty, and a sharp tongue aid her in the courtroom.
