Fabian Gaurd
The Lightning King
After losing my computer a little over 2 years ago I am excited to get back into Roleplaying!
A little about me and my rp rules and comforts.
Hi I am Fabian, I've been rping for almost a decade, and I have played DnD and been a dungeon master for seven years. I love original characters in original settings, but I definitely enjoy fandom rp's as well! I like to think I am a pretty flexible role-player, and like to fit both the length and detail of my responses to the level of my partner. I have a bunch of plot ideas for almost all the settings listed below, and while I mostly do OCxOC I am open to playing characters! As for doubling, I am not as familiar with doing it in a written rp setting but will if you enjoy it! I love romance, but it is not a necessity. I don't have any personal limits on tone, theme, or events.
With all that said, below I will list some of my interests, if anything piques yours feel free to dm me!
Fandoms
Original fantasy settings, low or high
Original Sci-fi settings
Historical settings, particularly ancient Rome, Greece, Persia, Fuedal Japan, the viking era(800-1066 AD)
Lord Of The Rings
Harry Potter
Castlevania/Medieval Gothic Fantasy
Star Wars
Forgotten Realms
Avatar The Last Airbender
MHA
Naruto
DC Comics
Marvel
Mythology
Teen Titans
There's definitely others but I will add them as I bump inevitably.
PLOTS
Star Wars
1: Anakin's Padawan
This one is rather undefined, but I would love to play Anakin in a setting where he is assigned a new padawan, or if you would like, you can play Ahsoka. I find this dynamic to be very interesting and while it is definitely hard to beat the clone wars depictions of such a dynamic we can certainly put our own twist on it! I have a tendency to play a more immature, emotional Anakin, but also can be a darker, broodier one if that fits the plotline better.
2: A Sith's Torment
This one, like many of my ideas, stems from a character concept rather than an actual plotline. I would like to play a Sith in any of the following settings. Pre-Skywalker saga golden age of republic, old republic, or post sequel trilogy unexplored time period. I have two main ideas in mind. One is playing a wandering sith in the galaxy far, far away, making his way through the cosmos untethered to a group or idealogy. In this one he may find either a sith apprentice, or a non-force sensitive person that for reasons we can discuss begins to travel with him. The other idea is a sith convert. Someone that was raised sith, and eventually betrays their master and flees to whatever leading Jedi authority is in that time to inform them of the new sith threat. He would then work with your character to find and eventually destroy his old master, while struggling against his sith past.
Harry Potter
1: The Witch And Her Departmentally Assigned Squib
Our characters work in the Ministry of Magic and are assigned to be partners for an investigation of some kind. Preferably your character would be an Auror, and mine would be a Squib who obtained a job within the Auror office as an analyst. This time period can be either during the reign of Lord Voldemort or after. If the time period you prefer is during his reign the main point of the RP will be their struggles agaisnt the very active threat to the wizarding world. If you would prefer after his fall the story would be far less action oriented, and more about rounding up the leftover Death Eaters and exploring how the two interact in the world that is still getting used to the aftermath of the war and the affects of blood prejudice. Your character in either scenario can really be anything. My character will be a very strong willed but mild mannered person, assigned to be your partner in order to foster a better image for the ministry, to combat all the blatant muggleborn racism. He is constantly under-estimated and will do anything to shake the wizarding world into realizing how powerful hard work can make you, regardless of magic. (Alternatively this can be set in Hogwarts, where my character has become the new muggle studies teacher in an attempt to actually inform the youth of the wizarding world the reality of the muggle world. Both are equally intriguing to me!)
2: The Slytherin And His Ambition
In this one the timeline is unimportant, but I will be playing a Slytherin character i've had in my head for awhile. He is a typical Slytherin, dark, broody, a touch manipulative; however not cruel. Unless it is advantageous of course. Id ideally like to play it with someone of contrasting personalities, perhaps cross house, but that is purely from a brainstorming perspective and am totally open to playing them with someone equally as morally grey.
My Hero Academia
1: A Bloody Good Time
A very standard cookie cutter setting of our characters both being UA students, but we can put our own twists on it. My character would be the son of Vlad King, with the quirk of Blood Control. We can be 1-A or 1-B students. A very simple premise but opens the door to many different takes on the setting.
2: Its All A Little Grey
In this plot my character is a Hero fighting for truth! Justice! Honor! Etcetera etcetera you get the spiel. The problem is, there's a certain villain who he likes a little too much to be healthy. In this fic you would play the villain that slowly makes my hero a little less heroic, and my character would make you villain a little less maniacal. This can also be swapped if you want to play the bright eyed heroic type.
Teen Titans
1: A Different Robin
What if the Teen Titans had gotten a different Robin in Jump City? Perhaps one that's even more brutal, and more brash. Jason Todd, having narrowly survived his encounter with the Joker, makes his way to Jump City, donning an altered Robin costume and ready to separate himself from Batman as much as he can, while still fighting injustice. No preferences on what you would play in this, either a canon or OC character.
2: A Guest In The Tower
A very simple idea, I would be playing Dick Grayson, who has recently been tasked by Batman to foster a target of the Falcone crime family in the Titans Tower, getting them away from Gotham and surrounding them with bodyguards, while still being able to live a decently nice life. This will last until Batman is able to subdue the threat. You can play either a superhero, a civilian, oc or canon. All are welcome!
All of these plots are not hard set in stone, and am very open to any alterations or suggestions you may have.
