Look at me, I’m Sandra Dee
Adele slowly walked up to the mansion. She slowly reached her hand out and knocked on the door. Her father hadn't been seen in days, and she was beginning to grow more and more worried for him. He had gone on a business trip and was only supposed to be gone three days, four at most. It had been seven days since he had left and there had been no word from him. She had been worried when he hadn't been home on the fourth night, and insisted that she go out to look for him. Her brother on the other hand, had told her, that he was fine and would probably just come home late at night or early in the morning. At that point Adele really began to worry. She had left her house and had not stopped searching for him since. She had been going door to door, not going into work at the library, and had not slept since the fifth day her father did not return home. She could not bring herself to do so. Her hair was slightly disheveled and she looked exhausted, however, she could not bring herself to stop searching. She needed her father home safe. Despite the fact that her and her siblings had jobs, her father's brought in the most money.
It wasn't just the money he brought in that was the reason for her father to come home safe. Adele loved her father dearly. Her mother had died when she was young and he had been the only parent that she had ever truly known, and it was obvious that, while he loved her siblings dearly, she was his favorite child. She wanted him home badly. She needed him home badly, quite possibly more than the rest of her siblings did.
After knocking on the door, Adele stepped back and hoped that someone would answer. And she hoped that when they did answer, they would have some information about her father, but a part of her doubted that they would.
