If the following types of exalts were tweaked out to be killing machines.


would the list  look like the one below? Solars being the most powerful and mortal being the weakest?


1st Tier:


Solars


Abyssals


2nd Tier:


Lunars


Sidereals


3rd Tier:


Alchemical


Enlightened Mountainfolk


4th Tier:


Ancient Dragonking


Fairfolk Noble


Terrestrial Exalted


5th Tier:

I think siddies belong below lunars, and on a par with Alchies. Alchemicals seem to me to be more versatile and close to in power the Siderials, but Lunars trump both. Then again, that's just mah opinion.


It always seemed to me that among the "Normal" exalts, you had:


Solar


Lunar


Siderial


Terrestrial/Dragonblood
 
The reason most put Lunars above Siddies is versatility. But you put a Siddie in a situation he's specialized in and his Charms are geared for, me thinks the Lunar will bow down. It's a matter of context in most of these things.
 
It should be noted that Abyssals tend to be better than combat than Solars, too; Abyssals have all the toys Solars have to play with, plus dice removers, etc.


Of course, Solars are better at Abyssals at everything that isn't combat (Or, strictly speaking, anything that isn't combat or anything really fucking disturbing), but that isn't the point at issue.
 
I'd say that they are equal, actually. While Abyssals have the tools to make a lot of things die spontaneously, they aren't as good as Solars when it comes to dualing...
 
Jakk certainly doesn't play "fair"...he was a pit fighter after all.  And a bandit.


He doesn't engage Mortals all that often with the sharp side of his Daiklaive, but that isn't so much fair play, as it is building a rep for being generous to those he defeats, so that they join his cause.  His Sky Reaching Jimmy Kick on the other hand is also reaching legendary status, as is his Rightous Wedgie Fling, and Momentary Lapse of Reason Boobie Fondle--which has made at least two Abyssals lose their composure enough him enough room to apply Furious Head Beating Procedure...


And while Abyssals may have some nasty ass Charms for doing harm, there are equally nasty Solar sorts of things to apply to creatures of darkness like them, and judicious use of Stunts can even up the Abyssal Nasty advantage very quickly, if you're creative and not terribly polite.


Rightous Wedgie Fling has ended more than one Sorcerer's chance at loosing some nasty spells, as well as seranading their back up troops with a howl as a Strength enhanced Jakk has hurled said Sorcerer high into the sky by their fundoshi style loincloths...

Do tails make one immune to wedgies? Big, heavy tails, like DKs have. (In case you're wondering about tails and underwear/pants compatibility, it's quite easy- merely fasten them with a button over the top of the tail.)
 
Lack of external nivvoks render DKs immune to Sky Reaching Jimmy Kick and Righteous Wedgie Flings, but horns, ruffs, and dangly sails do make for great hand holds, and wing membranes appear to be somewhat senstive to crumpling like a used tissue, or playing Crack The Whip, and hardened beaks can be driven into things that are quite painful...
 
Ah, yes, of course. How silly of me. Of course, the Momentary Lapse of Reason Boobie Fondle would also be completely useless.


I wonder what the Attribute+Ability and difficulty it is for a human to distinguish a Dragon King's gender? The only clear difference would be in the skeletal structure, and as predators the difference wouldn't be as pronounced. DKs themselves, of course, would have no trouble telling. Perhaps they'd have distinguishable voices. Or perhaps one or the other would have colour displays. Males bright feathered, females dull? Vice versa? Maybe they just tell by the smell. Do DKs have a better sense of smell than humans? Hmm.


Y'know, lacking our knowledge of non-human anatomy, it would probably take a few moments for a human dirty fighter to realise that they had to shift tactics. A few moments is all you need when you've got big scythe-like claws on your feet.
 
Just takes a little common sense.


You see a Lunar with that big old wolfen snout, and it isn't hard to guess that a face full of smelly might work to really get them to back the fuck off, a throat sac might be an effective bit of flesh to use for a throw, or a very dead looking Abyssal might not even register the Jimmy Kick of Doom--but they will certainly be interested when you use one of those xylephone-like ribs as a hand hold tossing them into the sky, and your Zenith has that big ass club to send him into the stands.


Dirty fighting is just about being creative is all.  And the more projections, odd bits and pieces for grabbing, twisting and otherwise preparing for Radical Restructuring...
 
And let's face it, Godzilla taught us that tails make are great for swinging something into mountainsides...

This does sound on par with the things one would expect you to have thought out in detail... :roll:


Though with all of my quirks, I'm not sure I have much room to pick at you. :shock:

But could you face the idea that you have even this much in common with Mario?
 
Why are Noble Fair Folk on a  lower tier then Enlightened Mountain Folk?  Fair Folk get higher attribute and ability caps, more applicable combat charms.  Ditto for the Dragon Blooded, Charms beat the pants off of anything the mountain folk can muster.  


At the very least the 3rd and 4th tiers should eb combined.
 
um sorry to break it to you buddy but yeah mountain folk are immune to shaping combat charms and enlightened mountainfolk have way higher attribute points.


(enlightened)mountainfolk: start with 1 dot in each attribute and have 16/13/10.


Fairfolk noble: Starts with 3 in all attributes, and 10/7/4.


the only thing that keeps the fairfolk on the same level with the enlightned is his bonus plus 3 to all attributes. with that  it means that the fairfolk and the mountainfolk have the exact same amount of attribute points.

since they have the same amount of attributes, and the mountainfolk has an immunity to some of the fairfolks more potent charms, i feel he could stomp a Fairfolk noble, pretty badly.


i mean think about it...epitome, and shinning example of what humanity should be... or a buncha flammin crazy elves.

oh i got nothing against gays.  i have best friends who are gay. i just dont like flamin elves.
