• So this roleplay will take place in London in the United Kingdom. This is the city of music and dreams come true. If you want to make it big in the music industry, this is definitely the place to be. Bands like Queen, Pinkfloyd and the Beatles have recorded there. London has jazz, blues, and pop venues. But is also well known for their orchestras and opera's. All together, London has everything for those who love music. And that is what drew all our characters to that specific place. Some have been born there and lived there for years, others come from perhaps even across the ocean to get their shot here.
  
  London is famous for their two top academies that are world wide known. Both schools have brought very sucessful musicians in all kind of fields of music. Both academies are only available for the best of the best. They are the elite schools of music. However despite sharing a great passion for music, the rivalry couldn't be bigger between the top academies. Of course, it would be normal for two top academies that are so close to eachother to be rivals, but this goes deeper. Wayyyy deeper. You see, Royal Academy of Music (RAM) is known for their strict and classical music. Music is taken very seriously. Mozarts, Beethoven, Pagini and Sibellius are studied here. Symphonies are practised, performed and even written here. London Music Academy (LMA) couldn't be more different. Everything is more laid back here. The music they play is more modern and the use of electric instruments is a given. Some of the students even focus on digital music.
  
  The hallways of both academies are covered with flyers asking students, who think they have what it takes, to apply for the ultimate music experience. On RAM this is done in the form of sheet music, LMA had flyers in the form of what seemed to be bright colored cd covers. Students from either school happily apply for this music experience, as it is an annual project that is famous over the whole world. The previous fifteen years it had been a talent show and even if you didn't win it helped a lot with getting your name out in the world and possible get scouted. It was an amazing start of a music carreer. However this year things are switched up, it will not be an individual talent show! The goal is to have all of them form one band together! However that won't be told until the most talented have been selected...
  
• 1. During this roleplay, and all connected to it, RNP rules will fully apply. Other than than normal roleplaying rules (such as no godmoding, no powerplay, no perfect chars etc) will apply as well.
  2. This also means that you have to be respectful to everyone involved in this roleplay. Keep an eye on triggers. If you are uncomfortable, voice it. If you have a problem let me, or my beloved co-GM iShyShy know.
  3. This roleplay is meant to be active. Since there will be a lot going on (team building, fan meetings, repetitions, gigs and what all not) there shall be a lot of planning and plotting. We love (and expect) input from everyone in this roleplay. So yes, you are required to have a discord and be active both in character as out of character.
  4. This will not be a first come first serve roleplay. Like the characters, you will all have to apply for a role. Who ever we seem most talented, shall eventually be invited to be part of this. That being said we are looking for a minimum of six players and a maximum of 10 players. And we want the students to be evened out over both academies.
  5. This brings me to the next point. We want diversity. All in this roleplay will be world wide known and famous, so please we are not looking for only English characters.
  6. You are allowed to apply for more than one role. We will however chose only one of your characters. Under very exceptional circumstances we may chose two characters, if we have to balance things out.
  7. Of course there will be preset relationship, these can be / will be plotted out, once it is decided who gets in the roleplay. Of course, you are free to plot on beforehand as well, but this will not guarantee you anything. We encourage plotting afterwards, in case your counterplayer won't be selected.

  Note: Other instruments than written down can also be accepted! Just put them in the right category. If you are not sure, ask us and we will help you.
  Note: Characters will apply with their main instrument. This does not mean it is the only instrument they know!

Thank you for the compliment! You could always go for a classical music student. And don't worry about not knowing all technicalities when it comes to the instruments (I don't know it all at least!) but as long as you show effort and do some research on the internet, you can come a long way^^
