Lily didn't know alot about the southside, but she knew more than she had a couple years ago, thanks to Kat and the other friends she'd made over that time. Lily herself had wondered why Caydon wanted to have the party here at the park, of all places, but she thought she understood. Their house wasn't the best or the nicest, even though they did attempt to keep it up. But kids loved the outdoors, and Lilo was no different. She deserved some time to run around and chase the sunshine, and she was adorable, and there were plenty of adults here to keep her away from the nasty stuff, right?

They'd basically just arrived when Lily spotted the quartet of guys walking towards them, Ryan West leading the way. She'd just tried to get Kat's attention when Ryan reached her, flinging an arm around her shoulders. Lily wrinkled her nose slightly. Though she tried not to judge, she really didn't think Ryan West was good news. Kat slipped out of his grasp a moment later and he turned his attention to Lily, who just gave him a half assed wave as he sat next to her.

She thought about shoving him off, but he hadn't really done anything to deserve it. Yet. "Always nice to see you, Ryan." Lily muttered, looking at the cake as he pointed it out. "Annie and Kai went to get a new one." She told him, even though he probably didn't care. Lily smiled at Lydia as she approached, not wanting to be rude. She actually didn't have anything against the redhead; she liked her. But before she could even think of a good greeting, Kristina started to walk up and Ryan made the comment he did.

Lily's hand automatically shot out to smack him, and when he shot her an annoyed look she just smiled sweetly at him. He got the hint, though, and got up from the table, moving away from Lily and her swinging hands. Smirking to herself, Lily watched as Lilo headed off to play on the slides, hoping beyond hope they were clean. At Kristina's question, Lily turned and glanced over at the other guys, her eyes lighting up when she saw Drew, her favorite drinking buddy. "Hey!" She waved enthusiastically, motioning him for come closer. "Come sit!"

Xander couldn't fucking believe it. He knew that he shouldn't have come here. A party at the park in the middle of the day... that should have been the first red flag. Or maybe the second. Maybe the first should have been that it was Jax who had mentioned it. Shouldn't Xander know better by now? With all these thoughts going through his head, he nearly missed Drew showing up, and the fact that Ryan was already walking towards the others.

"Jesus fucking christ." Xander shot Drew and Jax a look and then sighed, following his friend towards the... birthday party. He dropped his bookbag on the ground by the table, crossing his arms as he studied the cake on the table. A smirk tugged at his lips as he noticed the candles. Giving a small shake of his head, he glanced up when he thought he heard someone talking to him. "Nah, I'm not a West." Xander glanced back at the others before looking back at the girl.

"I'm Xander. Nice to meet you." He knew all about the rivalry between the families, but he didn't frankly care. Ryan West was his friend, sure, but he wasn't going to hate an entire family just because of some rivalry that had started... when? Who knew? "So, this is a birthday party." He stated the obvious, looking around the park. His eyes landed on a blonde girl carrying a small child in her arms, towards the table actually. "Must be for her. The little one."

Hearing a smack, Xander's eyes turned towards Lily and Ryan, the latter of which was now getting up from the table and moving away from the blonde. Rolling his eyes, Xander watched as the kid darted off towards the slides. "I don't see any other kids here." He commented, tilting his head to the side some. "Jesus." Rubbing his face, he knelt down and unzipped his bag, pulling out a bottle and showing it around. "Anyone wanna start the adult party?"

The little blonde who'd been carrying the kid snatched the bottle from him and unscrewed the top like a pro, lifting it to her lips and taking a swig before passing it back. Xander blinked in surprise; he hadn't even been able to stop her. Was she even legal? Fuck him. "Okay... anyone else?"

"why follow the rules when breaking them is more fun?"

Jax had really screwed up when he missed the part where this was a birthday for a young child, hadn't he? First Xander expressed wanting to kill him which he knew full well his cousin was capable of. Then Ryan who grumbled about it not only being a birthday party but one full of people who his family didn't get along with. Now here came Drew who hadn't yet commented on it but he could see the expression on his face change once he realized what was happening. "I screwed up, okay! It's a child's birthday," he groaned before Drew would get a chance.

When Selene spoke back to him he cracked a smile at her words. Did she think he didn't know her well enough to know that she wasn't a huge drinker? "Why do you think I brought this too," he said, the smirk still plastered on his face while he held up a perfectly rolled joint. "Xander? He's my cousin. This is Selene," he briefly introduced. Jax was not a stranger to girls going for Xander once they met him but his cousin was great wing-man too so he didn't mind much. Especially because he wasn't looking to settle down anyway. Sure, it got frustrating whenever he was trying to close the deal and Xander swooped in with ease but whatever.

"Please. If we don't end up at a party by tonight I will never live this down," he rolled his eyes playful as he motioned to the park around them. At the mention of him inviting a West, he shrugged. "You know I'm no stranger to risk," he joked, letting out a chuckle which abruptly stopped when his eyes landed on Morgan again. He could tell she was trying to leave and if that happened who knew if he'd ever see her again. She was, after all, known for disappearing on him. Was he bitter? Hurt? Hell yeah. He had questions but for now, he had to keep her from dipping before he even had a chance to say anything.

"I'll be back," he muttered, slipping two beers out of the six-pack and making his way over to where Morgan was. "I don't mean to interupt but I thought it'd be rude if I didn't offer a beer to the party host and an old friend," he said, his eyes remaining locked on Morgan as he held out the cans. "Long time no see, Captain," he added, the nickname for her rolling off his tongue as easily as it had he last time they were in the same place at the same time.

Lucky only took his bike out for special occasions. It wasn't like he needed the thing much. He had a minivan that got him from home to work. He only took out his bike when he was fairly local to where he was going. He was headed to a party for a Troubles' birthday. In his basket on the back of the Cali beach rider sat a Bluetooth speaker blaring "Stressed Out" by Twenty One Pilots and a 4 ft Barbie DreamHouse. Lucky even had a few Barbies in his backpack, just in case. He'd met Caydon's daughter a couple of times when he was sober. Right now he was clean as a whistle, saving the Adderall for later on that night. It was a kid's party, for Pete's sake.

He cut the corner and arrived in the middle of the park...the trashy, sketchy landfill of a park. He sighed, parking his bike near the swing set. He made his way to where the adults were standing. It was the usual sideways glances and sharp words, but then again what could you expect from this lot? He spied a trashed cake and sincerely hoped that wasn't Lilo's cake.

"Hey guys," he said, hefting the DreamHouse and his backpack on the table. "Y'all know I wouldn't miss this for the world." He looked around and spotted the birthday girl on the gym set. Lucky loved kids and always wished he had siblings. But, his dad couldn't get his mom pregnant. He was either a miracle baby or his dad had a lot of explaining to do, but that was neither here nor there at the moment. "Yo, Caydon...can me and Lilo go play?" he asked in a perfect Stitch impersonation. At the end of the day, Lucky was a big kid and he had every intention of making one hell of a birthday party happen.

Rat was doing what she did best. Cause trouble. She was heading towards the park, where the troubles were hosting a birthday for the littlest of trouble. Normally she would just leave it alone, Caydon and her brother sorta get along and are friends so she doesn't mess with him as badly. Plus she has a sorta a soft spot for kids and their innocence. And Lilo Trouble is the most innocent on bane street. So she would normally just leave them alone and not even bother with them but...her brother Ryan was heading there himself for some reason. Plus Lily would be there, and that's something she couldn't pass up. The girl, she was currently kinda messing around with. The only girl she was messing right with right now. Unlike the other girls, she actually cares for Lily unknowingly to the girl in question who probably thinks she is using her for a quick fix. Which is Rat's reputation. First, it was strictly to annoy the fuck out of Kat, the flirting and then it became something more. Then one night, one drunk night, they slept together, and ever since they been hooking up on the side. Unknowingly to Kat of course who would about kill Rat if she would ever find out.

Lily had told her that she was going to be at the park, so Rat may have made a plan to surprise her there and to annoy Kat who has been getting on her nerves. A lot. She walks into the park and sees her brother who looks surprised to see her there and...Morgan? She shoots her a questionable look. She didn't know that she knew any of the Trouble kids, and she hated Kat, even more then Rat herself hated her. She walks up to Lily who just now spotted her and winks. "Hello, beautiful. Nice to see such a cute face!" She looks at Kat who hadn't spotted her yet and then looks at Lily and whispers in her ear "I had a nice time last night love."

Rat moves away and winks at her again as she strolls up to her brother and Kat. "What are you doing here with the wicked bitch of the west?" She said smirking at Kat.

This was an disaster. The cake, thanks to the idioicy of his brothers, is ruined. He looked at Annie who was glaring at hime already. "I know...you hate it but I can't have him arrested again for lighting something on fire. Just keep him out of trouble and I'll owe you little sis." He says softly to her as he kissed her head then turned to Kai who was already pouting "Wipe that pout off your face. I swear to god, if I get one call about you lighting something on fire. I'm gonna have Kris kicked you in the balls or Annie. now go, and for god sakes be a proper human being. " He watches as she and Kai walks away and sighed. This was again an disaster.


The park is filled with stuff that even he wouldn't fucking deal with. And now because of an stupid feud, Morgan couldn't play for Lilo who really wanted that. He sighed as he looked at Kat and glared. His eyes saying, please back off before I yell. It was an one single dad look in his pocket and he never uses it but he does not need an fight on top of everything. He watched as she walked away turned to talk to Morgan but she was staring at something behind him. He turned to look, and saw something that made his blood boiled. Ryan fucking West with his hands around his BABY fucking sister. He breaths in deeply and calmly. Before turning back to Morgan, his mind racing. Normally he wouldn't care about who his sisters were fucking, but Ryan West had an reputation, one he didn't like seeing around his baby sister. He spoke "Yea, it's probably for the best. Cause I can sense an fight coming on...well..I can sense me punching your brother in the face...no offense. I'll bring Lilo around later on today at your usual spot. " He looks back at Ryan who was still too fucking close to his sister. "I really hope that we can still be friends despite our families...being who they are. " He then ses Jax , come up to them and he nods and walks away.

He noticed more and more people showing up, and smiled slightly. At least Lilo would have an party....Someone spoke to him again and he saw Lucky. Caydon nodded softly and watched as he dragged his child away. She was of course smiling and giggling. He smiles, at least she's happy. That's all he wanted, was for her to be happy. Everything else could go to hell.

"Good luck keeping an eye on them," Annie told Caydon, gesturing towards the gathering group. At his attempt to keep everything under control, Annie remembered to appreciate how hard it must be to be the oldest of their group of adult children. She wondered how he managed to not lash out at everyone all the time. She gave him a smile before she started heading off, refraining from giving a snarky comment to Kai about how much she wanted to kick him in the balls.

Her hope that the trip to the shop would be made in relative silence was broken as he suggested he picked the cake for Lilo. And it would be one with dinosaurs.

It wasn’t particularly annoying, then again Annie’s siblings didn’t need to be annoying in order to push all the wrong buttons; their mere presence did that job. “No Kai,” She said, her voice stern as she suppressed her annoyance as much as she could.

“We are getting a plain chocolate cake. You should know by now that our family has a tendency to destroy anything even slightly fancy or cool”

“And besides, as long as it tastes good I think Lilo will be more than happy,”

With that Annie decided not to say more; hoping Kai would follow her lead. She walked them to the closest shop. Within minutes she had found a rather simple looking chocolate cake with some plain flower designs. Going to the counter she picked up a couple packs of crisps that would hopefully distract the people who had come to the birthday party for an actual part

After paying, Annie grabbed the cake and turned her attention to Kai, “When we get back, help me make sure nobody fucks up this cake, ok? For Lilo’s sake,” If it was one thing she knew she had in common with all her siblings it was their mutual love for Lilo. Everyone wanted the best for the little girl and would do anything for her. In a way it gathered the Trouble siblings under a common goal.
Not really caring about Kai’s answer, she exited the shop, ready to head back and get out her book again. Or maybe just head home and get away from all the people that had gathered.

Lost in her thoughts, she nearly didn’t notice the two familiar faces further down the street. Her face lit up as recognized who it was, all the annoyance and anger that had built up the last hour faded in almost a second.

“Hey, what are you two up to?” Annie greeted the pair, her main attention on Tenn Hail as she approached the twins, only giving Tessa a small acknowledging nod. He’d probably be aware of how grateful she was to see them. During the day she had sent him texts updating him on the Trouble outing, including everything from the unfortunate location, to the death of cake 1.0 to the people showing up carrying as much alcohol as they could.

If Annie had known it wasn’t going to be just a little party with the siblings, she would’ve invited Tenn and Tess to come join them, at least it would distract her from the chaos going on around. Maybe her best friend’s presence would have made her relax a bit more, maybe even make her enjoy herself.

Anyone who knew Kat was well aware of her party-girl ways and the fact that she hardly ever turned down tequila. So when Xander began offering, she just wanted to run and fucking hide. She was normally the first to jump at a chance to drink or have a little fun but right now she couldn't. Not until she knew for sure if she was... God, she didn't even want to think the word. Recently it came to her attention that she was...late but she didn't really think anything of it. She'd start and that would be that, right? Yet here she was, a week later, and still nothing. The only person who knew was Lily. They were supposed to go after the party and buy a test which already was terrifying but now she had to turn down a drink in front of her siblings and hope no one called her out or caught onto it.

Katherine Trouble was a lot of things but mother material wasn't one of them and on top of that, she knew exactly who the father would be because even if she was a flirt, he was the only one she was actually sleeping with. A Trouble and a West having a baby, not to mention two of the most reckless ones at that. It was a disaster waiting to happen and she could only hope that test would come up negative. Shooting a quick glance at Lily, that she knew the girl would understand, she finally shook her head when the bottle was offered to her. Her fingers were crossed that it would go unnoticed.

"I'll pass. Not in the drinking mood today. Maybe later," she lied. Was that really the best she could come up with? Fucks sake. It was then that she heard another voice chime in and she rolled her eyes. Now she really wished that she could take that drink offer but at least it was an opportunity to get the attention somewhere else. "Diane, here I thought you would've come up with better names by now. Besides, if anyone is the wicked bitch of the West that honor goes to you," she shrugged. "What the hell are you doing here anyway? Come to flirt with my best friend again? She's not into rodents so I'm afraid you don't stand a chance," she smirked.

So far, party was everything Lydia expected it to be. A perfect chaos. She fucking thrived in that. When was any party organized by the Trouble family ever perfectly organized and went on without problems? Lydia knew that and most of the time, she waited for the shit to hit the fan. That was always the greatest fun. And honestly, this looked like it was on its best way to become really fucked up. Though this was also probably the first time Lydia didn’t want it to happen. This was Lilo’s birthday and that little girl deserved better than just some half-assed attempt. Caydon was doing a great job a s her dad, much better that their own dad was doing with them. Figured. Lilo might just be the first Trouble to actually have a shot on really decent parent.

The real excitement though started when another group of three arrived. Jax, Xander and Drew came over and as it could be expected, it didn’t take them long to show their bottles. Now this was more like Lydia’s kind of party. But when Kris actually reached for the liquor Xander had taken out, Lydia had to laugh. “Look at that! She might just outdrink y’all boys.” But when Kat was offered the bottle and refused, Dee’s eyes went wide. Since when Kat refused liquor? “What’s up with that, Kat? Your pregnant?” Lydia laughed, finding her own joke extremely hilarious.

Taking a few steps aside then, Lydia took her phone and shot a message to Jonas. It was no party without her boo.

“Hey, hun. You comin’ over or nah? I could use your company today. We have cake and booze See you in a while? ♥”

Maybe Lydia and Jonas were not the greatest pairing ever. But in a way, she felt something for him. Sure, she might have cheated on him once or twice. But in her own selfish way, she loved him and would repeat it over and over again. Was he her future? Who knew. But he was her present.

Putting her phone away, Dee returned to the group and put her typical smile on. It’s been a while since her and Jax talked. Somehow they both have been busy. Well, there was no time like now they say.

“Got some of that for me as well?” she smiled, pointing at the liquor as she approached the guy. He was possibly the closest friend the redhead had. Friend, confidant, partner in crime. Anytime she needed to rage or cry her eyes out, he was there. And for a girl like Lydia Trouble, a friend like that was irreplaceable.

Un-fucking-believable. They really did come to a kid’s birthday party. Packed with booze and shit. Great job, Jax. Great job indeed. Drew was unsure what to do now but it sure seemed that Xander was all in for starting the party since his hand disappeared in his backpack and showed up again with a full bottle. Was he for real? There was a kid, for god’s sake! And surely the little girl was not older than five. Drew knew shit about children but even then he was sure that this might just be the most messed up shit he’d ever done.

Thank god some guy took the girlie away from the rest of this chaotic group. How did they even end up here? Like, all of them, Drew knew how he came. But this was truly a group of everything. All kinds of people that just randomly met at one place. And yet, it somehow worked and they seemed to…be…uh, having fun? Was it that? Anyway, since Xander was already distributing booze, Drew didn’t see a reason why he shouldn’t have some fun as well. Especially since his favorite drinking buddy was there as well, waving at him, inviting him closer.

Moving away from his friends, Drew approached Lily and squeezed her in a tight hug. “Hey, Lil. Missed your ass already.” he laughed softly and let her go. Measuring her head to toes as he still held her hands, Drew nodded in appreciation. “You look hot. As always.” he grinned at her and plopped down to the seat next to her. Since we’re already pulling out the big guns, can I interest you in a little something?” His eyebrows wiggled as he showed her one of those bottles he brought. “I know for a fact that this one is your favorite. So? What do you say?”

"...Boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider, Girls go to college to get more knowledge,"

Lucky and Lilo's hands were practically a blur as they played their little game and sang their song. They were mostly distracted by each other. Lucky reached into his backpack and pulled out a boxed Barbie and Bratz doll respectively.

"Now, birthday girl, I didn't know which one to get you so I got both. But your big birthday present is with your daddy. Now, who's the best not-uncle ever?" He smiled as she did, jumping up and hugging him. He'd babysat for Caydon more than enough times for it to be appropriate.

"You are, silly." she said, stepping back and jumping around with her two dolls in hand. To say the party was going well would have been an overstatement earlier, but now everything was going pretty well...until the ATF rolled right on in.

"FREEZE! NOBODY MOVE!" Men decked down in kevlar and black surrounded the party. "Get DOWN ON THE GROUND!" Lucky picked up Lilo and they watched as all the members of the Trouble family and their guests were put on their knees and had their hands raised into the air. When they got to Jude, he was put down to the ground and cuffed with his hands behind his back. Lilo hid in the crook of Lucky's neck and he shielded her gaze away from what was going on.

"JUDE TROUBLE, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR POSSESION WITH INTENT TO SELL. ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN THE COURT OF LAW..."

If there was one nice thing Max West could say about Reina Morgendy, it was that the girl payed well.

Three hundred dollars for three day stint of Pre-Calculus tutoring, and Max was rather convinced the girl was either stupid, or a God sent angel of some sort.

(There was also the fact that Mister Morgendy was a control freak who treated her like a drug dealer in making, but hey, that was life, wasn't it?)

So yes, Reina Morgendy payed well, or maybe she was under the impression that Max would probably kill her, but eh, again, someone else's problem.

Really, it wasn't her fault she had the resting face of an axe murderer, that was mom's genetics.

So, gathering her homework and shouldering her book bag, Max offered the other teenager a half-wave and made a beeline for the door.

The cold brush of wind that greeted her almost made her flinch, but she bit her tongue and pushed forward, eyes focused on the street ahead, and ears pealed for anything out of the ordinary.

She would need to pass through the park to get back home, (she really hoped none of the guys from her highschool were wandering around, fuck knows she couldn't outrun them with her books), and cross three more streets before even getting halfway there...

Deciding it was now or never, Max set off.
