Bandom roleplay

I'm new to this site, but I've been role playing for several years before taking a hiatus during a move and then life kind of got in the way.   Now I'm interested in getting back into the swing of things and maybe finding a new role play partner or even possibly a group to join.  I generally would join groups off of livejournal, but I'm assuming most of those have shut down over the last few years.    I've noticed a lot of groups on tumblr as well but not familiar with how things work there.  


I've got access to AIM, as well as skype, email, google docs, or message boards.
