Realistic or Modern Band RP

I was thinking about a realistic RP, about these teens and about their journey as a band. But maybe with like a deeper side focusing on some of the struggles of being in a famous band, too?


But the plot entirely is a bit fuzzy. Anyone willing to share some ideas?

You said you wanted it to " focus on the struggle of being in a band "? Maybe make it really dark and gritty? Have some pretty taboo subjects. Sex, drugs, all that kinda' stuff. Maybe have it start out all cheerful and great... and then immediately do a 180 when the band hits the big time. Shit goes downhill fast. Their friendship begins to deteriorate and so on, so forth.


Maybe set it in a time period as well? Early 90s?


Of course, you don't have to do this stuff. I'm just trying to spitball ideas, haha. Another cool "bad thing" that could happen is one of the members becoming more famous then the other members- maybe the vocalist? This'll cause a huge rift between 'em all. IDK.

Hmmm, I was thinking that maybe like the bands pretty chipper and stuff, but then there's those moments when they're alone and there's no fans to distract them that maybe someone's depressed another's having issues with family or a boyfriend they date for publicity and stuff. Like not harsh at first, but then it becomes a bit of a struggle to keep up their image


 
And band name is another thing to ponder over.
