  Students are piling into the Bakers' High Auditorium. There are benches bunched up into rows and columns all of them facing a podium where the students wait to here the school staff greet them to the new school year. While everyone is waiting the schedules are being passed out.

  I was so excited for this day that I managed to convince my father to take me early to be one of the first ones here. My father, having gone to this school and having a huge reputation, reserved seats for our family. What I really wanted to do though was sit down near people other than just my family but I obeyed my father and sat in the reserved bench. I was sort of embarrassed sitting there because I looked sort of like a snob. I try to hide my face in the schedule until my mother told me to "knock it off".

I vas so nervous about going to a new school. I arrived very early and sat near the back of zee auditorium. I fixed my beret waiting for zee teachers. I looked around a saw a boy sitting in a front bench. "Zee front?" I vhispered to myself because i didn't think that people enjoyed sitting in the front on their first year.

  Welcome to Bakers' High School. All those from previous years may already know me but for those that are knew here; I am called Principle Jackson. At this school we expect good behavior from all of you. That especially includes during the competitions that we have here after school. You all should have received your schedules which were passed out. If you need a schedule ask a staff member on the way to homeroom. Now i'll let our Vice Principle Jeffries onto the microphone.

  As Principle Jackson said, my name is Vice Principle Jeffries. I again welcome you all to Bakers' High where we expect good behavior. After I am finish here we will dismiss you to your homerooms there you will have time to meet other students of your grade. Homeroom is where you will receive your progress reports. You can also ask your homeroom teacher for your grades; just ask him or her your grade for a class. At this time we are dismissing all students to their homerooms. The parents can pick them back up at 3:00 P.M.

  All the grades are all put into separate classrooms. 9th graders will be able to meet with other 9th graders in the morning. They will follow each other if they're lost until 6th period where they split up to join other grades at excel classes.

  Welcome students, I am Mr. Kay. As you heard at orientation you can ask me for your grade here and I'll give you your progress reports for your parents to see; but for right now i'll let you all socialize and get to know each other.
