Bio:
As the youngest girl in the Zabielski family, Aleah has always been a little bit spoiled. She was a tried and true daddy's girl, so up until the split, she had him wrapped around her pretty little finger. She wasn't exactly close with her mother; the woman was a bit unapproachable, at least to Aleah. She had a somewhat stoic and cold personality, and a young Aleah was quite the opposite.

As she got older and began to see the tension going on around her, however, she began to become more and more like her mother. Sharing some traits with her sister as well, both physically and otherwise, you'd think the two would be best friends. And though Aleah doesn't hate her sister, not at all, she hates being so much younger than Eva and not taken as seriously. It comes across as bitchiness most of the time, although she'd stand up for her sister in a heartbeat. Same with all of her family, especially her younger brother.

Of course her perfect sister would move with them to the horrid country, a move that Aleah didn't even want to make in the first place. She tried to convince her mother to let her stay with her father, but of course, she wouldn't allow it-- not that it would have been a good environment for Aleah to begin with. She made sure to make her disapproval known, and still does, even though they've been in the new house for a few weeks now.

Bio:
Before she was adopted by the Jackson’s Amaya was a child of the state. Her mother was deemed unfit to take care of her and so she was taken away. For as long as she could remember Amaya stayed in the foster care system up until she was about four years old. The Jacksons has come into her life and changed everything. At the time they only had their oldest son, her big brother, and she fit right in. Of course there were those who looked down on Amaya because how different she looked from her foster parents. They never kept her adoption a secret from her, which she was grateful for.

Amaya thrived under their care and flourished into a lively little girl that would get into all types of trouble. She was able to have a normal childhood after all that she’d been through. As Amaya got older she began to wonder about her real mother and began a search to find her with the help of her parents. As it turned out her birth mother wanted nothing to do with her which left Amaya heartbroken. With the love and care of her family she was pick herself up.

In high school she worked hard to maintain her gpa, managing to keep a steady A average through. When she graduated as the class valedictorian Amaya was surprised with her acceptance letter to the University of Tulsa. Amaya has a goal of becoming a social worker.

Bio: Eva was happy growing up in the city with her family. She was a very bright child, even being able to skip the fourth grade. She eventually got three younger siblings, two brothers and a sister. bio- growing up, flynn was your typical kiddo. a bit of a hellion, sure, but well-loved by his family and nurtured accordingly. and he loved them deeply in return, touching everyone with his special brand of laugh-based therapy. in recent years, especially since starting high school, flynn has seemingly had less and less time for his chores and family dinners. he had an extremely close-knit group of friends who would ride in shopping carts and harmlessly vandalize their tiny town late into the night. while this resulted to some tension within his family about high-jinks and curfews, flynn was always apologetic and would offer to help more around the house to make up for it.

one night, when the group of teens was raiding someone's dad's liquor cabinet, his closest friend, wyatt, said something so incredibly racist and hateful in a drunken stupor that flynn reacted as typical as anyone with half a brain would--he punched him right in the face. the two boys ended up in an extended fist fight, and by the end of the night, somehow flynn was ostracized from his friend group, despite being the one who, you know, wasn't a giant asshole. the group then spread word around school, and all of a sudden, flynn was either being picked on, ignored, or beaten up by the majority of the student body. flynn is still figuring out how to deal with this, since he hates bothering other people with his problems. without meaning to, he's become a lot less animated while at home, being especially quiet and sulky. he puts on a good face, but some things are hard to fake

Mateo was born mute, and can not utter a single word. He can hear just fine, but when it comes to words he’s at a literal loss. He uses sign language or writing things down as a form of speaking, but will often paint and draw his feelings.

Personality:
Mateo is very nice, and will risk a lot for others. He also has a good sense of humor, though it’s often forgotten due to his lack of speech. Mateo absolutely loves kids and animals, and used to have a cat that he would feed behind their home in the city.

While Mateo has a good sense of humor, he can be a bit to sarcastic, and it comes off as rude most of the time. He’s a bit shut up, and will interact with people, but doesn’t usually like to talk with people outside of his own family. He also has this really annoying habit of clicking his pen on and off constantly, and doesn’t care or listen when people tell him to stop.

Bio: Mateo was born as the youngest child of the
Zabielski family, an exciting new addition to their home. However, exciting took a new turn when Mateo was diagnosed as mute. He couldn't say anything, and crying came as difficult for the small boy. Suddenly, the family had to learn how to understand sign language, just so they could understand their little brother and son. Mateo's father never seemed to care, saying he would just read what Mateo wrote down, but the rest of his family cared. They taught him best they could, and it was relatively easy since he could still hear. Mateo can hear people, and make small hums or strangled laughing sounds, but he can't do it loudly. Because of this, he was often picked on in school. Middle school through Sophomore year of high school, people would call out a question that needed a written answer, and then steal his notebook and pen, keeping from his reach. It was annoying, and sometimes it got physically violent. Mateo really hopes to avoid things like that in this new home, but doesn't have to much hope. When they decided to move, mostly because of his father, Mateo was a bit disappointed sure, but he took his mothers side in the divorce, and stuck with her all the way.

Unsure about country life, Mateo tried desperately to convince his mom to move to another city with the family, a place that was familiar, but to no avail. Now he's usually one to climb onto the roof, or other high places such as trees, and draw the land, trying to become more familiar with it. He doesn't usually go into town unless its necessary, but he helps out best he can when needed. Including trips to the store with a hoody up. Mateo used to be shy and reserved, but living in a place that he is now makes it easy to wander when he wants to.

Y: The only family Emmy Murphy has ever known is her older brother, and her aunt Beth and uncle Jay. She never met her father, and her mother ran off to Europe when Emmy was 3, leaving Emmy and her brother with their aunt and uncle. At least once a year they receive a letter from their mother with an update of her life and have found out that she is now married and has other children that she adores. Emmy definitely feels betrayed by her mother, but adores her aunt and uncle and thinks of them as her real parents. Jemima is a calm, relatively shy girl. Due to growing up in their small hometown, she doesn't have much experience with strangers. She can be pretty shy around those she doesn't know. Jem was the youngest of the siblings. She kinda felt like the odd one out. Aleks was much older than her, him being a teenager, while she was still a small child. Amaya was outgoing, loud and fun. She had lots of friends and was willing to stand up for anything she believed in. Flynn tries, but he only wants to make jokes and poke fun. Jem was a bit more serious than him. She never felt close to any of them because of that. Jem grew up minding her own business. It wasn't that she didn't care, it's that nobody wanted to tell her anything. Roslyn can come off a bit cold and stoic. She has never been one to show a lot of emotion. While that might lend itself to her being a bad mother, she is actually an amazing mother. She wants her children to know she loves them. She may not always show it, but she says it all the time. Roslyn is a bit closed off. She doesn't like to disclose personal information. Maybe it's because she lived in the city for so long and most people are untrustworthy. She is very intelligent. She has a doctorate in bio engineering and a master's degree in research. She is a fast learner, though recently it has been harder to recall what she has learned. She hopes coming back to her roots will help with that.

Bio:
Roslyn was born in the small farming community that she has recently returned to. Her family decided to move after her grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer. Her father wanted to be close to his mother during her last few months. They moved to New York City. Her parents were never rich, they didn't have a great education, and they both worked minimum wage jobs. While she was in school, Roslyn made astounding grades and had a particular interest in science and math. Her love of knowledge took her to Cornell University. While she had thousands of dollars in scholarships, she didn't have enough to cover the entirety of her education. She would end up leaving school with thousands more dollars in debt. Roslyn was heavily debating on leaving school.

That was when she met Mr. Zabielski, who was extremely wealthy. He was good looking as well, though he was 15 years older than her. She was a young, intelligent, beautiful woman. He saw her as a trophy. Though he didn't let that show in the beginning. At first he was charming, sweet, and generous. He offered to pay her way through college, help her with homework, and take her on expensive dates. When she turned 23, after dating for three years, they were married. After he had her, he quickly changed. He began to say demeaning things to her about the way she looked. Roslyn was never really self conscious before, but he began to point out all her little flaws. After their first child was born, he convinced her to get plastic surgery to get back to her original shape. Then continued to belittle her. They were married for 6 years when she found out he was cheating on her. And had been for the majority of their relationship. She was ready to end it with him when she found out she was pregnant for the fourth time. She didn't want their last child to grow up without a father, even if he was a terrible one.

Roslyn became more reserved. The only thing she enjoyed was her work and her children. The time that her husband was away, she was at peace. She was constantly on edge when he was around. Even when she was the most perfect she could be, it was never good enough. He expected the same of his children. Mr. Zabielski was a very busy man and they had children together, which is why Roslyn held onto their marriage for so long. The last straw was when he accused her of cheating on him, in front of many of his friends. She hated her husband, sure, but she wasn't going to go stoop to his level and cheat on him. So, Roslyn decided to get a divorce.

The problem was, it was going to be messy. He was a greedy man, so getting a settlement from him was going to be difficult. With good lawyers and a year and a half of work, it was final. She didn't end up getting much from him, but she had saved a lot of her own money she made for teaching. Roslyn had set it aside for her retirement back in the small town she so dearly missed. It wasn't much but it was enough for a decent house with a little bit of land. Roslyn is still trying to figure out who she is without her husband and find new self-esteem. She has a new job, which is a very large pay cut from her last one, but it will do. She is honestly really appreciative of Eva coming along to help her and the family. Part of her feels guilty that she is ruining her daughter's youth. The last year she has been experiencing some issues with recall. Old memories are becoming increasingly foggy. -: Micah remembers a little bit when him and sister were dropped off at their Aunt and Uncles by their mother. He remembers the fights his aunt and uncle would have about not being able to support them, and not hearing from their mother. He did his best to shield Emmy from all of this, but it always bothered Micah. He did his best while growing up to show them that he was helpful, and tried to earn their keep. He would always beg to help on the farm and ended up enjoying it after a while.

Most of his childhood was him working on the farm, school, and playing football. Football was Micah’s escape, and he put all of his energy into it. He did pretty good all through school, and was even offered scholarships from two different universities. Micah didn’t tell his family though, keeping it a secret, and refusing both scholarships so that he could stay and help on the farm like he knows that they need. PERSONALITY:

At first glance, Corentin is a light-hearted person, easy to get along with, his confident demeanor somewhat comforting as he gives the appearance of somebody you know for years. However, when looking back, there is very little you’d truly know about him. Whilst a relatively warm person, he has inherited his mother's stoic nature and will rarely speak about himself or his thoughts. Should the topics ever arise, he’ll grow irritated and flustered, brushing the question off or simply ignoring it.

Despite this, Cory is a fiercely attentive if not somewhat distant person, who will attempt to remember the small details of his friends and their lives. If something seems important, even something as small as a coffee order, he will ensure he tries to remember. However he is a distant person whose repertoire of knowledge is often outdated, remembering loves that are no longer relevant, that have changed with the years.

This distance isn’t through a lack of compassion, simply a growing restlessness. What stemmed from the urge to get away from his father, Corentin has a pacing need to move, to constantly be doing something. Growing impatient with even the thought of boredom, as a curiosity latches onto a youthful cockiness that leaves him unafraid to seek out the world.

To anybody who knows Corentin, they’ll know he works incredibly hard for what he wants. Putting the time and dedication into achieving what he wants, even if what he wants is simply money for his rent. He puts everything into his latest interest. Even if that passion seems to be living as far away from their father as possible, it isn’t. Cory has peculiar intelligence, limited to his interests and desire to actually partake. His high school years filled with failing report cards. Despite this, Cory has a personal interest in old stories and their history, and since joining a community college has begun to apply this intelligence and dedication in way that for once is actually helping him.

Often a cocky person with a dry humour, Cory is liable to mood swings, Often from him overreacting or from somebody aggravating him, he’ll react the same. Quickly growing quiet, and even quicker to start an argument. If he catches himself in a mood, he will often withdraw himself, hoping to avoid confrontation when he knows how much he wants it.

As well as this, he has very little patience for politics, his opinions can often come across as blunt and tactless. Typically believing that he is genuinely being helpful by telling people the truth, and rarely ever intending to hurt or upset people by doing this. Similarly, throughout his school career, he had constantly been told to think before he acts. Corentin bearing a long and extensive history of landing himself in trouble with his often foolish and reckless decisions.

BIOGRAPHY:

Cory has always had a somewhat distant relationship with his family. As much as he loved and admired his sisters and mother, the relationship he shared with his father always seemed to get in the way. The two constantly arguing and bickering, nothing he did ever seemed to be good enough so he quickly gave up trying to please him. Instead he let his grades in school drop, rathering that they were awful out of choice rather than him trying and still not being what his father wanted.

As he grew older and became more aware of the true nature of their father, Corentin took every opportunity and chance to be anywhere but in their house, not bearing to be near his father and at times even upset that his mother continued to stand by him. So he ventured out into the depths of the city, where he’d stay out for days at a time. Having fallen into unsavoury crowds, Cory’s attitude at home and at school only grew worse and he soon began growing more and more impatient to leave his home, wanting only to explore and live in his own pace and own rules.

So Cory took up a job in the city, working shifts at a convenience store. He never told his parents where he was working, instead playing it out as if he was still hanging around with odd crowds, who at this point Cory had begun to leave behind, focusing almost entirely on saving for his move.

The second he got the opportunity he moved out, renting a cheap and rundown apartment down in Philadelphia, where he took whatever work he could find whilst attempting to stay in contact with his family, phoning and texting them every once in a while. But constantly balancing his work with his lifestyle left little time for him to stay in consistent contact.

As much as he enjoyed his life, he began to grow bored of landing crappy jobs to pay for his crappy apartment in the worst part of the city, and realised he didn’t want to be doing this for the rest of his life, wanting to find himself a career Corentin began looking at night schools and colleges, weighing up his options before settling on a community college. Although he had never been a great or even a good student, he’d always had a natural talent and interest in stories and their histories, and it had been an easy decision to take up literature with history. Discovering that without his father there to berate every essay and paper, he actually enjoyed studying and learning, even managing to land a job assisting one of his professors.

Despite how content he was finding his new life, once Cory heard about his mother's decision to move to the country he decides that he wants to be there for her, wanting to at the very least support her and help her settle in to her new home. Whilst it had seemed like a great idea at the time, once he’d packed himself and Cujo into his car and began driving, he had been hit with the sudden realisation of how long it had been since he’d even seen his family. Wondering how much had changed in his absence.

Personality:
Dominic is a very protective individual, taking personal offense when his friends are harmed. Being this protective, he treats all of his friends as though they are his family, and works to make sure that they feel like family. But this is also a big negative because he is often too close to a situation to believe or see the problems right in front of him. Regardless of what that may be. One of the faults of his anger. Once ignited his anger can be very hard to reign in and very few people know how to talk him down. Because of his anger, he is known to be very brash, often acting before he has a chance to think out the consequence that may arise. As a way to cope with his anger, he tries to use humor in the form of sarcasm, which has benefited him, as he can sometimes defuse very tense situations with it. Bio:

Dominic has had a very good life, his family was relatively well off and he never had a need for anything more. Because of this, he was able to focus his mind on a number of different hobbies, and his schooling. Dominic was very quick to take to musical instruments. Even traveling to different countries when his parents gave him a few weeks off from his farm responsibilities.

He had always been thankful that his parent’s farm was relatively successful, it allowed him to spend what little free time he had, between working on the farm, work, and school, to do the things he enjoyed, such as his hobbies and his traveling. But when it came time to leave for. College his parents were not thrilled and it pushed a very big wedge in-between the relationship he had with them. They felt as though he would abandon the farm for some city job. While he knew that the degree in business he was pursuing was to help keep the farm in the game as well as to eventually take it over and see the continued success they built.

Dominic had always been pretty close with the Jackson family. Considering them to be family, Lisa being like a second mom to him, the children, like the siblings he never had. He helped on their farm when he needed to get away from home for a little bit, even helping a bit more when Mr. Jackson left.
