Eliv: *She takes Cuphead's hand and goes through the door with the memory of the Devil telling them their new job. She takes a nervous breath.* In and out, alright, be as quick as possible.

Eliv: *Nods and uses her free hand to touch the "memory" Devil's head. Soon they were in the ACTUAL mind of the Devil.*

Cuphead: *blinks, and shivers slightly*

Eliv: *She shivers too, her toes curling uncomfortbley*

Cuphead: *stays quiet, looking around, thinking of where the contracts could possibly be*

Eliv: *She gets a nervous look on her face. She REALLY didn't like it here. She shook her head to shake the feeling. She was doing this for Cuphead. To her, she HAD to.*

Cuphead: *soft whistle, gestures to the place where the Devil was keeping the contracts- in all honesty, he didn't want to be here either.*

Eliv: *She motions for him to grab them*

Cuphead: *frowns, thinking "This is way too easy...."*

Eliv: *Bites her tongue, shaking her head, thinking the same.*

The Devil: *appears out of nowhere* PUT. THOSE. DOWN.

Cuphead: Shit, I knew this was way too easy.

The Devil: CUPHEAD!? *grins, a frown on his face* Long time no see...

Eliv: *Scared... Like REALLY scared*

The Devil: And who is this fine young lady? I don't believe we've met~ *he walks over to Eliv, bending over, hand out as if to shake it*

Cuphead: *senses the tenseness of Eliv, and sees The Devil approach her. However, Cups had other plans. He steps in between The Devil and Eliv, and Cups puts a protective arm in front of Eliv* Hey! You stay away from her!

The Devil: *grins, putting his hands up, defensively* Okay, Okay! Chill! *laughs* You act as I'm going to hurt the girl!

Cuphead: *growls* Knowing you, you probably would!

Eliv: *can't speak. She grabs Cup's arm*

Cuphead: *whispers to Eliv* You'll be alright, I got you... *one of his hands reach down, and holds onto Eliv's*

The Devil: *notices this* Oooh, are you two DATING?

Cuphead: *turns really red* Wha- No! Why would you think--

The Devil: Well, you two are very close to each other, you're holding hands with her, she's clinging to you like a desperate baby, and you're so overly protective of her... C'mon- the signs are obvious... (very much getting Cuphead Show Devil vibes for some reason as I type this XD)

The Devil: What?

Cuphead: These contracts getting burned~!

The Devil: Wait, WhA--

Cuphead: ELIV! NOW! (basically telling her to teleport them out or whatever XD)

Eliv: *Instantly teleports them out. She lets out a breath she didn't know she had been holding* We've got them...
