Alright, I have an idea for a RP that takes place in the future; in the future, mankind has discovered the existence of angels and demons. Nobody has ever seen or heard an actual angel or an actual demons, but scientist have discovered DNA of both of the beings, this leads to tests on animals to see if a living organism could handle being infused with angel DNA. Demon DNA wasn't to be used yet due to the whiplash that would cause with biblical nuts, so they left the demon DNA untouched.
Then, after several years of being left in the dark, scientists finally decided to start experimenting with the demon DNA. After several tests, scientists discovered that demons and angels can not be near each other or else they would practically explode. It took several more years before human experimenting took place, this was after they found out a safe way to transmit the DNA into the human bloodstream without the blood evaporating.
The test subjects had nothing wrong with them, they had great strength and were better than they were before being injected, soon, it began. Tons of people started volunteering for testing, although not that many were admitted. Until a kid, around 14 years old, signed up for demon DNA testing; this testing wasn't even an option to volunteer for, mind you. You can imagine what controversy this stirred up, but due to the boy's eagerness to do it, and the fact that he had no other family members or any money, the government let him be tested on.
While the boy was being tested on, he was injected with too much DNA which led to dangerous consequences, the boy could now connect with Hell and could communicate with demons. Scientists didn't know what to do, the boy was now acting as a beacon for every demon in Hell, but it didn't stop there.
Baalthazar, a very powerful demon, had heard about this "beacon" and decided that this was a good time to try and enter the human world by using the boy as his gateway. The boy was soon possessed, but not in a manner you might think, the boy could still go about his daily life, but his physical condition was getting worse by the day as Baalthazar was slowly entering the world.
But, as scientists figured out what was happening, they developed a force of people who they infused with demon blood to protect the boy until they have a chance to strike down Baalthazar and send him to where he belongs. But along with the imminent threat of Baalthazar, there are also angels hunting down the boy, the angels, while not as bad as demons and can actually be allowed in the human world, they are still very dangerous.
So this RP is about a group of special demon hybrids protecting the gateway to Hell pretty much.
