We're All Mad Here!
No I told you it was okay to go on I just didn't think it would go so fast.

The twins are outside helping with cleanup. Right now, Nikkolaüs, Aden, Felix, Gwendolyn, and our new boi are in the infirmary. If you have time, I really recommend you read posts 137-145 on main. Its on page six. Those are the ones that follow everything that happened. And everyone is such great writers, its just a genuine good readMaddie would be really worried and since her quirk isn't suitable to help clean up, might follow pretty closely after nikk and the twins??

So. I'm sure you're aware that Amie has extremely imbalanced emotions. She feels everything a lot, regardless if its a good feeling or bad. And her quirk relies on these emotions to activate. Felix has a pain sharing quirk. He has the most practice with sharing physical pain, like actual injuries. But he also has the ability to share emotional pain. He has had very little experience using the emotional side of his quirk. However, when he met Amie, he could not stop his body from drawing in all of her emotional pain. He absorbed it without trying, and he held on to it. As summarized already, everyone is outside in the school's field showing off their quirks. The Pro Hero Placebo (also known as Trion the Asshole) called her over to make an example of her. He demanded she show the entire student body what her quirk could do (because he's, ya'know, an asshole). She couldn't conjure the emotions she needed to activate her quirk because Felix was still absorbing all her turmoil. All her sadness, anxiety, frustrations from the situation were going straight to him. Felix, after bawling his eyes out, realized he was taking Amaryllis' emotions. He tried to use his quirk to slowly give her back her emotions so that she could activate her quirk. But he did a big fat fucking OOPSIE and shot all of her negative feelings into her body all at once. And it was excruciating to her. She lost all control of quirk because her feelings were overflowing and overwhelming. She "cried" a giant pool of acidic tears into a large portion of the field. The pro heroes were quick to make the students get back inside so they wouldn't burn, and Nikkolaüs and the twins came to her rescue with a contraption to capture her tears safely. Nikkolaüs then took her to the infirmary to take care of her injuries (because her body has a natural resistance to her quirk, but she cried so much that a lot of the resistance was burned down and now she has physical scars).
And that's just about where we're at now. A lot of the other students are working on damage control in the field to clean up the mess Amie made and make sure everyone is okay since a few people got burned by her quirk.
Damn, I think this is the first time I've seen on Rpn someone mention posts by number. Well, to be fair, I only just got back on rpn lmao. Anyhow, just so I can finish off some details, Joe, Ashley, Quinn, the Teru/Toru twins and most of the teachers are outside/somewhere else inside the school building. The twins are outside helping with cleanup. We're definitely at a slower pace now. Things shouldn't be as quick anymore. I fully support slowing down so everyone can get caught up and our new players can get comfortable in the RP. Might be best to section everyone off into smaller groups again.I'm not sure if I can keep playing at the speed things are going, I go to sleep and several rounds of posts/pages ho by without chance to react to stuff until well after it has happened.
Is there anyway we can slow down a bit? Otherwise makes at least me feel left out, not sure about others.
Along with Gwen as mentioned, Aden also has some burns in his soles as well. Not everyone has hazard suits ready for immediate acid protection :pHow bad would the reaction be if Maddie had gotten burnt not so badly to leave a horrible scar but bad enough that she does have a small one? Her quirk doesn't work spontaneously and she wouldn't have gotten away fast enough not to be burned...
I'm totes fine with that rule, but, and I personally am not a fan of the rule, but to keep the pace and not lose interest, how about a rule that kicks out people who have not replied within 48 hours?-- wait better idea, not kick out, but just continue without them if they don't reply in 48 hours, so they can come back. Maybe even make it 24 hours.Ya'll I'm trying so hard, I don't know how to fix this. Lets toss the split up plan then. I think limiting replies will be a bit too much. If your into the scene, you shouldn't be restricted to how many replied you get. But I think I will definitely start implementing my "No One Left Behind" rule again. If we are interacting with people, absolutely no moving on unless given permission. Period.
Second off. MegMath13 it could be a bonding moment between them. Where Amie realizes she hurt someone she cares about, and they have a cute conversation about it.
