Personality: Zhan is a man who preferred the silent and quiet environment over anything else, he's a thinker, always contemplating about his next steps in a strategic and tactical manner. He sees the world as a big chessboard where he's the player and the king is his goal. Even though he's a bit arrogant and sarcastic, he can warm up to those who will help him reach what he wants. Despite being an introverted fellow he wants fame and glory to shine on him as deep down he only wanted to cleanse his father and family name.

Bio:


He's the son of a simple hunter of the Earth Kingdom and a woman with an unknown history who left the child without any clear reason. His father's bloodline consists of prodigious and genius Earthbending masters whose skills rivaled the kingdom's grandmasters, born as a non bender Zhan's father was exiled from the main house and left to die in the wilderness. Fortunately, he was quite a brilliant man and survivalist, Zhan's father was also known as a master with the bow, however once he's revealed as a non bender both he and his wife were exiled.


Growing up Zhan explored the world of Earthbending through instinct, observing how hawks fly, how komodo rhino run and how tiger monkey fights, but none of them really suited him nor was it easy for him to follow their movements, he had heard of Badgers but none of them exist in the wild anymore. There's an uncomfortable awkwardness when he imitated their legs or arms and it's not enough for him, he wanted to be the best. Zhan's cold attitude was seen from a young age even with his father, he respected the old man's skills and actually appreciated his marksmanship and survival training, however Zhan still knew the fact that he wasn't a bender. When his father couldn't teach him anything else that's when Zhan disappeared.


Going back to the Earth Kingdom capital, he tried to enter various academies for some knowledge, but none give a damn. What could a poor boy like him do? But having extensive training and knowledge from his father did have it perks, he spent his time peeking and stealing Earthbending techniques from those schools. Of course he's frequently caught and chased down, but it's also one of the things that made him realize his Airbending abilities, naturally quick and nimble he's far more talented at Airbending compared to his original element. He's quite far from mastering both elements, but using both Airbending's basic acrobatic and evasive moves for defense and Earthbending strong basic attacks and strikes for offense in unison, he's able to contend with masters and soldiers, earning him a reputation of prodigy and young master. What the people didn't knew was he used two elements instead of one.


When he heard of the invitation he quickly looked at it as a challenge and hitched a ride to the destination wondering if he could further increase his reputation and influence.

Personality: A laiback, humorous and casual girl with seemingly no care in the world, can come of lazy, childish and hidonistic. However in truth just knows when to worry and when to let things go, having a certain wisdom beyond her years. She is clever and deeply caring to those she considers close and is very protective of them almost to a fault.

Bio: Daughter of a travelling air nomad nun and a southern water tribe soldier, a union that was never meant to happen as her mother was attempting to reach true enlightenment. Her mother had Jampa on the northern air temple but was always distant to her daughter seeing her as representation of her failure. So Jampa was raised mostly by other air nomands and had worked hard growing up to be a good airbender to impress her mother but nothing seemed to work though. In the process she began to become a prodigy among the air benders becoming one of the younger to earn her tattoos and soon came to the realisation that life was too short to worry about her mother thought of her and tried to live for herself. However despite her best effort the want to sort things out with her mother still was important to her and soon wanted to get to know her father too. When rumors came that her father was to attend the avatar games and her own invitation arriving she hoped to knock two birds with one stone.

Bio: Kira was born in a small village, about a day or two's journey from the main city, in the Southern Water Tribe. Her father was one of the best warriors from their village. He was often away on either a hunting trip with other men and older boys or off to the main city. Her mother was one of the healers and never left their village. When she was younger, Kira would follow her mother around, learning bits and pieces about healing. When she learned waterbending, Kira also learnt how to heal using her bending. After her sister was born, Kira's mother focused more on her and keeping an eye on her. This gave Kira at little more freedom. During this time, she snuck away and joined one of her father's hunting parties, leaving a note behind.


Kira discovered airbending while playing with friends and found that the movements came easily to her, just one step away from the flow of waterbending.


When she got her invitation, Kira was very excited. She had never left the Southern Tribe before. Her parents were wary but eventually allowed her to go. Her father travelled with her to the main city and saw her off, and gave Kira his whale-tooth dagger, and she sailed towards the Earth Kingdom.

After a few months in the port city, he got in a fight with the wrong gang over the wrong girl, and travelled to a different town. It didn't take him long to get in trouble again, and he began his life as a rogue, never truly settling down.

Quirks: Has a tendency to tap his fingers or fidget with his hands when nervous.
