My name is Maki by the way. It's a good thing I found you first. The Fire Nation set up a census for all benders. Their utilizing in-depth categorization in like seven... no wait, nine... or however many categories they have. They say it is for educational purposes in this time of "peace and prosperity". They also say that since the Avatar hasn't been seen for almost a hundred years, that he is no longer needed to keep peace. According to them we are no longer in any danger and can live in peace under one banner.


If you ask me, the Fire Nation is up to no good. They are practically forcing it on anyone they find. On top of that, they'll know all our weaknesses. Also, this information isn't going to the public like many people think. It's going straight back to the Fire Nation. Where's the equality in that? I personally think they're up to no good and am not going to partake in the census. At least not before I get some answers. What'd'ya say? You with me?


(Hello! I'm CelticHero37. Above is an optional initiation post for a 1x1 role-play. I am in search of a long-lasting partner who isn't afraid to add to the plot and write in a detailed manner. My intention is to write a story parallel to that established in the Avatar: The Last Airbender show. I am looking for a mix of new characters and new situations while working in the realm of the Avatar world and building in the style of the show. Though I encourage experimenting with various characters, my main character will be male and I am looking for someone comfortable with playing a female as their main character.

At the moment only Avatar: The Last Airbender. The only reason I would not include Legend of Korra ideas right away is because I have only seen one episode. Once I feel confident in those ideas, I would be fine expanding into that area.

I personally like having only Avatar: The Last Airbender because the concepts in Legend of Korra seem illogical to me
