Well from reading everything I he can be a villain for the majority and then something happens that causes him to help the group or he could just straight up be the villain (which would be kind cool). As for starting I figured maybe he could be in Bi Sing Se trying to steal from someone and happens to run into the group or select members.

I think we have enough to at least get us started. We can continue planning as we go along with the RP. I really need to give this a name so it's not just "Avatar Roleplay" anymore lol, but no idea what to call it.
Well, we don't have an airbender villain aside from him, but I do like both ideas. Him being a villain for most of it, then switching sides, or being the main villain from the air side. Both have a lot of great paths and ideas that can be formed from this.
He can be at Ba Sing Se and steal something and runs into the others.

I kinda like the idea of being a main villain, maybe he could be the leader of a splinter group of the airbending rouges who believe that taking down the avatar would mean winning the war (I’ll change Nikto’s backstory to match.)

I'm not entirely sure if Kayo and Miyo would be with Team Avatar from the get go, I pictured them more hiding around in Ba Sing Se until maybe something happens that would make Kayo believe being with Team Avatar would be their best bet, if that makes sense?

That makes sense. Kayo and Miyo don't have to join right away, none of the characters do. Considering they'll have some down time in Ba Sing Se before anything happens. I'd also need to figure out a way for Zolan to prove he's the Avatar. Someone in's trouble maybe and he just acts and some different element aside from fire comes out to protect that person. He'd have no idea how in the world he did it, it just happened because he wanted to protect whoever was in danger.

Well Kayo and Miyo do take things from others since they don't come from much, and after the death of their parents it becomes a lot harder to just live. They could have taken from the wrong kind of person one day and it puts them into danger, and Zolan could see and try to protect them? If you think that might work.

In terms of an intro for Karasu, she'll probably be at the Marketplace shopping for Tea. From there she can meet the other characters?
