[Retro Nova]

In a world so harsh and void of balance, evil and it's counterparts slowly begin to take over. Good men and woman turn to crime to put food on the table. Criminal organizations have taken over entire cities as they use force and fear to get their way. The feud between benders and no benders, although not publicly shown is still felt. Within a world so broken everyone looks to the Avatar for help. But although the Avatar is the most powerful person on the planet. They are just that. One person. So a secret vigilante organization was formed to assist the people of the world in their time of need. For a small fee of course. Nothing is free.

Our characters will be a group of benders and non bender (4-5) called "The Silent Lotus". As a group we will take jobs from people who wish for us to protect them, resolve issues, etc. The leader of The Silent Lotus is Xan. (my OC). ​

Background: Xan was born into a dysfunctional family growing up. His mother was an opium addict and his father was a no shoey most of the time. Xan was practically raised by his older sister Lu. She was killed after she refused to give up her jewelry to a mugger just feet away from her front door. Xan tracked down the guy and exacted his revenge and managered to get back their mother's necklace and his sister's scarf and wears them as a reminder of what he stands for.

Personality: Xan has anti social tendencies and is a reserved and serious person. He can't stand to see good people being taken advantage of and is quick to step into risky situations in the name of what's right. He hates the smell of alcohol and although he usually keeps his opinions to himself he won't hesitate to speak his mind and assert himself.

Weapons/Pet/Special Items: a lump of metal that he has become extremely adept at moulding, due to his familiarity with it. He most often uses it as a bat or a sword.

Backstory: Ayasha's family split apart when he was discovered to be an earthbender on his 16th birthday; coming from a pure bloodline, both his father and those who knew of it accused his mother of having an affair with an earth nation merchant, which she denied repeatedly. After he turned 17, he simply left without a word. Due to being raised as a potential fire-bender, he was taught to fight like one, using agility and a "the best defense is a good offense" mentality.

Other: He drinks alot. Like, all the time. He's more sober drunk than, well, sober. Despite this, he has a fast, analytical mind along with physical agility and dexterity that many would have to train for years to match sober. Even though he is an earthbender, which traditionally has a fighting style of being rooted, he was trained by firebenders, which resulted in him having learned to use his bending to increase his speed, such as launching himself forward by pulling stones under his feet up, pushing him forward at lightning speeds. Along with his drunken, loose unpredictability and a constantly shifting metal mass threatening his opponents or forming a familiar weapon in his hands, his fighting style is unique and hard to counter. Even with all of this potential, he mostly uses his gifts for gambling and bar brawls. He isn't above a bit of thievery for some quick cash, but he protects those who can't protect themselves. For some quick cash. (Hey its better than stealing right??)

Peme isn't that relatively short, if one was, to be honest, and she may look kind and sweet but do not test her. Peme's also a rather attractive female, too. She stands about five foot five in flat shoes, which she wears quite often but whenever she places on her boots, Peme grows at least an inch or two. Speaking of her boots, she'll sometimes install throwing knives. She has the perfect weight for her height though. She's about one-hundred and fifteen pounds and is built athletically along with toned from her years of training. But she is still very much feminine, too. She emerald green eyes that have a kind stare at them until you make her mad then they become the eyes of death{not literally}, she'll just stare daggers at you then. Her hair is like a chestnut brown and cascades down well past the middle of her back. She hardly wears it down because of the length so it'll usually be in a ponytail, mostly. Peme styles herself in Earthbender garments, simply because that's where she was born and raised but underneath and around her waist are palm-sized daggers.

Peme is not a bender, at all. Though she is skilled at weaponry and long range combat.

Sub-element:
She knows about certain poisons that she only uses through battle.

Weapons/Pet/Special Items:
• An assortment of poisons and blasting jelly in a fanny pack that is usually around her waist
• Has a pouch with a certain amount of coins for merchants and food
• Palm-sized daggers and has a katana sword that is strapped to her back

Backstory:
Peme was birthed to two Earth benders and they thought that she too was an Earth bender but saw that she wasn't. For years, Peme thought that she was a disappointment to her parents and the Earth Kingdom. She has even run away from home a few times due to feeling that way for so long. Every time she returned back home, her parents would apologize and proudly show her off as their child. Most people thought that it was a little weird but neither Peme nor her parents cared. While growing up, Peme was taught and trained by many other non-benders on how to survive in the world without bending. She trained literally almost every single day until she perfected her techniques. Peme has been trained by a weapons master and is very skilled at the art. Non-benders from all over the world came over to the Earth Kingdom whenever ten years of age or so, and her parents allowed her to do so simply because of her eagerness to learn.

But when Peme grew up, even more, she did not know what to think about the world that was revolving around her, particularly at home and in Republic City. She always questioned her parents about certain matters and they would tell her truth but still, she just doesn't understand how things got the way they did. She's currently on a voyage to Republic City, just to get a slight glimpse of things for herself. Her parents did not want her to go and be a part of the chaos but Peme left anyway. There, she became a member of "The Silent Lotus" and has not regretted the decision of joining the faction.

She strongly honors customs and tradition, viewing it as the only thing that brings stability to the fast paced, modern world. She also tends to worry a lot about the younger generation, and is especially worried that the respect for authority and even a fundamental sense of what's right and wrong is being lost. Zhiruo is very negative towards change, despite fully knowing that it can be good for society.
